Great food, great place, great service, great value. Love love love the jalapeño bacon. Shakes are awesome. Steaks are great. Need I say more? Get your booty down there and be hungry!

This used to be our favorite place to go, but sad to say we won’t be back. We waited 20 minutes to sit. Then we had no waitress even come to take our drink order. We were completely ignored. We had to let the manager know but he didn’t know what he was doing. we got our food last, out of all tables sitted after us. Then we only got part of our order and had to wait another 10 minutes!!! It was hugely disappointing!

Great food! Great price very friendly staff.
I actually prefer this one over the new location it is more homey and I feel like the food is better than the new one maybe it the years of grease at the old one.
I love going to new places for breakfast but this will always be old faithful.

Best breakfast place of all time! Good old fashioned diner service. Friendly and spotless! So many choices! Creative specials. The manager is constantly present, professional, and conscientious. Homestyle food in a bright cheerful space!

So many reviews. And such a mix of loving it and loathing it. Having read the reviews, I understand that there are busy times (weekend) when service may be slow (and I suppose sometimes a wait-​staff-​person-​man-​or-​woman might be late or absent), and there are times when there seems to be an older crowd (so what). Based on our single visit, I was very, very satisfied. Delighted even.
From the outside, the place looks like what some might call a «dive». To me it looks a bit like typical restaurants from the 40s or 50s or 60s. So there was a touch of nostalgia there for me, even disregarding the décor, which was distinctly 40s and 50s, plus a couple of mementos (replicas not originals) from the 30s. Casual, comfortable, family dining.
The reason I’m even writing this review is because of the egg. I used to have to catch breakfast in small-​town diners. I’ve also eaten in more upscale restaurants. Because of certain policies most restaurants follow, including my own brother’s restaurant, I can never get eggs the way I truly like them. Great Scott’s Eatery served me the best single egg I ever remembering having from a restaurant. I am sorry that some people received poorly prepared eggs. I suppose if I were to go there regularly, I’d eventually get an undercooked one. But this time I didn’t. This time I got the elusive perfect egg. And I will remember that for a long time, simple and trivial as it may seem to most people.
We were served amazingly quickly. The food was all good, warm, fresh. We even enjoyed the company of some of the strangers sitting near us. The waitresses (oh, there I go with my sexist terminology again!) — the wait-​staffers (and wait-​staffresses) were, perhaps average, but focused, clear, careful, and pretty nice.
I do look forward to visiting Great Scott’s Eatery (the one in Broomfield) again to see if the service and food are consistent, and to try other dishes.

I ordered eggs benedict and the egg was too runny. They topped it with few pieces of chopped tomatoes (you can literally count because they put less than 10). It was a typical eggs benny with a side of hash brown, nothing special. I’ve had better. Good service though, friendly staffs.

The service was staggeringly slow as the only 10-​top in the place. Took over 15 minutes to get our drinks, then after a wait to place our order it took over 25 minutes to get our food. We were starving by the time the food arrived. Thankfully everything was really good. The milkshakes were incredible & came out quickly!

Solid little diner for breakfast. Nothing too fancy, but my omlette was delicious and full of fresh ingredients. The guy’s Man-​Oh-​Man Mega Meal was indeed MEGA! Lots of food there. Tons of choices on the menu.
Not a bad choice if you’re in the area.

We just happened to ask the right person for a recommendation for breakfast and found ourselves at Great Scotts.
This isn’t the prettiest place, it’s not the easiest to find… But if you find yourself here, and Diana is tending to your table, you should find your start to the day all the brighter.
We look for cleanliness, it was clean. Food quality… Fantastic! And almost as important, server attitude. Diana (hands down) was as sweet, and professional, as you could hope for.
So, ask for Diana, order something new-​to-​you, and enjoy the efforts of people who seem to actually care about what they do! You won’t regret it.

Me and my hubby have been here a few times for breakfast and haven’t been let down. The food is delicious and the service is great as well. Also, I really enjoy the atmosphere. I definitely recommend this place for a yummy, hearty meal:)

Excellent food! The chef salad had lots of meat and bacon. The liver and onions was delicious. Good service too.

I want to take the time to thank the wonderful staff of this GS for salvaging the horrible experience on the very same day, my mother’s 60^th bday.
Everyone was cheerful, we were greeted immediately by some cute little high school girl, and two other staff members, and even later by the manager.
This place is so clean and the food was super fantastic. I cannot believe that there is such a night and day comparison to the two establishments. I asked the ownership to contact me to let them know about the whole ordeal and let them know how great everything was and how great this GS is, but they never did… so hopefully this helps!
Thanks guys! Will be coming back on a regular basis for sure.

A fun eatery. Great for kids. Friendly servers. You can see the effort made to give it a funky pretend vintage sort of feel. We ordered pancakes with white chocolate, berries… They were amazing. They did overcook the scrambled eggs a bit and could have more promptly refilled coffee, but those were the only negatives. Easy to overlook in exchange for a great vibe. A solid four stars and a great value with the 20% Unilocal discount.

Ive passed this place many times & it always looked like a cute lil old school style café to try. Came in today for the 1^st time & the food was awesome! My girls got hearty portions of pancakes & bacon. Staff was friendly. & it was what i thought. A cute 50’s style décor with that era music playing. Also got 20% off when i checked in on Unilocal,& they were happy to give me the discount which is always nice!

Great food from a locally-​owned small diner chain! They source natural and local ingredients when possible and everything we’ve had is great! Try the Big Boy Breakfast Burrito!

A great place for breakfast! I stop by every time I’m in the area. The Huevos Rancheros is great as is the country fried steak. The prices are a little pricey for breakfast but the food is plentiful and delicious. If you go later in the morning you may have to wait a bit, especially on a Sunday.

Very disappointed in the customer service here. I came on a Wednesday after working all night long. I had two eggs Benedict with hash browns. I only ate one of my eggs Benedict when our waitress came and took all of our food off the table. She didn’t speak to anyone of us while she took the food. We had only gotten our food maybe 5 – 10 minutes before it was taken away. All of us clearly were still eating with the fact a fork was still in my hand and my friend drinking his coffee. This is the only place I’ve been to that I would say that I would never in my life go to again.

Classic greasy spoon diner … 2 locations, in Denver and Broomfield. At that Broomfield location, our server, Carla, was excellent. My breakfast companion loved her Tacos Caliente, and I similarly appreciated the Veggie Omelette, which they’ll cook up with egg whites if you ask. Had a nice chat with the manager about their use of social media to promote the business. They are always having specials. They offer a 20% discount with your first Unilocal check-​in, and when I showed mine to the manager, he said they’ve been trying to take that off of Unilocal for some time, which I could believe, but naturally he honored the discount. Seemed to be a great group of people working here.

So it’s not the most amazing place in the world but it isn’t horrible either. I don’t know if it’s just the timing when we went but they seem to cater to an older coward.
The adults ordered hamburgers which were fine but then it’s hard to mess up a hamburger. Our waitress was a sweetheart & very helpful. The place is covered in 50’s theme.
Overall not a bad experience but nothing that makes me want to come back anytime either

I live down the street from Great Scotts and come here often. It has a cute 50’s diner feel and offers traditional American dishes. Their chicken fried chicken is a must try. On Wednesdays, they have specials on their shakes.
I usually order their chorizo skillet. It has potatoes, green chili, cheese, chorizo and comes with toast. It’s fattening, but delicious! The portions are pretty large, so there is always leftovers. If you want something sweet after your meal, try the sundae. You can’t go wrong with that!
