It does not get much better than Bart and Greg’s. This place has a fantastic selection of movies that you would have a hard time finding anywhere else. I love renting old movies that I haven’t seen in years.

If you look up the definition of «godsend» you will see a photo of Bart and Greg’s DVD Explosion(and a photo of Paul Newman’s face probably). Years, YEARS I spent in Maine renting DVDs like a fool from Blockbuster-type shops and crying myself to sleep from the boring selections I felt I was forced to make. But then I saw the light my friends, light that I can only assume is from the explosion set off by Bart and Greg coming together to form a DVD rental store. Amazing selection of every movie you could want. Literally. And if you don’t see that rare 1936 Bing Crosby number you were hoping for, just ask and they’ll most probably order it for you! I especially love their sections organized by year, it’s incredibly interesting and you find some hidden gems you never would have considered otherwise. In conclusion Bart and Greg’s DVD Explosion is the answer to all of your problems.

Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa How has no one done a review of Bart and Greg’s? Dear Bart and Greg’s, It’s been 4 years since I left Brunswick(or something like that, I try to block these things out), and I still think of you every so often. You have probably impacted my movie taste for the rest of my life. How is that? Well, it’s probably because I liked how you only had a small selection of movies that didn’t overwhelm me like Blockbusters did. You carry the classics I grew up on and the movies I’ve never heard of. Also, if you didn’t have the movie I was looking for, I’d look at your wall of foreign and indie movie titles to find something that would suit the mood I was in. I’ve stumbled upon many a J-Horror film in your store and also found one of my all time favorites, Dolls here. Thank you Bart and Greg’s for enlightening my movie spirit.
