We’ve stayed at Baymont(previously Jameson) several times on our annual trip to Florida and most recently on 2÷16÷16. The staff is accommodating and friendly. The linens and bath towels are clean, bed comfortable, breakfast ok. Very reasonable rates.

GROSS! First of all I did my reservation online and PREPAID the room. I called Two hours before our arrival I called them to let know we would be there by 8:30pm when the lady tells me she’s sorry but THEYHAVENOMOREDOUBLENONSMOKINGROOMS — they are sold out! What!!! So I tell her how can that be we paid for a room — she’s like sorry we overbooked — I can give you two king rooms but they are not next to each other — when we arrive she stated she has two room close together ok — she apologizes and tells us well the extra room is NOCHARGE — like really !!! We get to the first room and it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in awhile. There’s hairs all over the bathroom sink. The room smells awful. But it’s one night — my husband goes to check the other room comes back outraged– calls the front desk — tells her have you guys looked at that room? It has not been cleaned in a very long while– and — the bed has no bedding or pillows the mirror has a message on it written in lipstick there are no light bulbs on the lamps no garbage can and there are bugs crawling everywhere !!! She just replied«sorry but I have no other room». My husband had to sleep on the floor! No apologies — how can anyone run a business like this — THISPLACESHOULDBESHUTDOWN !!

Friendly staff and a nice clean room. Good breakfast as well. When we stayed sept 2015 they were renovating the rooms. Great place to stay for the price. I would definitely recommend

DONOTSTAYHERE!!! Upon checking in on the first night the room smelled like cigarettes. When mentioning this to the front desk, they simply sprayed to mask the odor. They said it was a non smoking room, but people smoke in them anyways, which I can understand… people don’t listen. HOWEVER there were 2 ash trays in the room which tells me it was not a non smoking room. The next room we were given didn’t smell as bad but there was the scent of cigarettes again. When laying down on the bed we began itching. Thinking it was because we had been sweaty we showered and laid down again. Once again the itching started and could not sleep. I was forced to sleep in the chair with feet up and even then still itched. The next day my daughter and I both woke up with red marks all over. There were no other hotels available that were not over 120 a night since there was a convention in town. Around 11:30pm, I was forced to pack up our things and check into one of those 120 a night rooms. I explained to the front desk lady that there were bed bugs and her face was priceless. I had been trying to contact the manager for going on 5 days now. Every time I call he is either not in or on the property. I was told on numerous occasions that he would call me back, but have yet to receive a call. Tried asking for the corporate office number to which I was told they did not have but referred me to the Wyndham website. The number was not in service… GOFIGURE! This place should be shut down… poor customer service skills, poor management, and poor quality of rooms. The ceilings to in the bathroom are moldy black spots as well as shower head. if looking for a place to stay for cheap, DONOT, I repeat DONOT stay here. Def will be contacting higher ups and reporting this place.

We stayed here for one night on 7÷6÷14. The inn is off the road so beware because our GPS had us on the other side of the traffic light and their is no sign on Scranton Road. I was slightly nervous when we pulled in because their were some sketchy people outside. We checked in anyway. The lobby was well maintained and the front desk staff was nice. Check-in was a breeze. We went to our room. It had a strong cleaner fragrance, but it was clean. I’m not sure why there was a cigarette burn on the linens in this non-smoking room. Our TV had some static for the first 10 minutes and then it went away. The grounds were nice and the breakfast was very nice with waffles and biscuits and gravy as options. There is a pool area and fitness room. The property is well-maintained both inside and out. It is close to I-95 and to other area locations such as St. Simon’s Island. For $ 60, you can’t expect much, but we got much more.
