I am so thankful for Dr. Scasta and his team who have helped me through a terrifying TMJD experience while I was undergoing orthodontic work. I have been seeing Dr Scasta for years and he is truly committed to his patients and their well being. He has gone beyond the realm of ‘basic dentistry’ and studied the relationship between TMJ disorders and everything that plays a role in furthermore aggravating the condition such as posture, sleep apnea, etc… I always feel well educated when I leave his office — which shows he truly has his patients best interest in mind. The rest of the staff are always wonderful as well. Front desk, hygienists (had a few cleanings done there as well — very though. Great job ladies!) Thank you so much to the whole office. You guys are wonderful and I don’t know what I would have done these past few years without you. I am so sad that I moved to Austin and have to find another dentist (just in case of an emergency) because your team have ‘set the bar’ very high!

After a couple of truly terrifying experiences with dentists in college station (Lassell– STAY AWAY! And warning: Lassell has had many truthful negative reviews removed from Unilocal.Also we left another dentist who was always trying to up-​sell and interrupted a filling session with my wife to contemplate death), we finally got a recommendation for another dentist and now see Craig Scasta.
Scasta lives and breathes dentistry. He’ll comment on the quality of your previous work. He chats about things dental when he’s not seeing patients. He’s focused on whatever he’s doing when working on your mouth and lets you know what he’s doing and why. He’s a little OCD, but that’s something one tends to want in a dentist.
The hygienists are also nice and do a thorough job without unnecessary pain or trouble. We’ve never had a wait in the office. If you’re lucky you can get a seat at the big picture window during your cleaning and can watch cats play outside while your work gets done.
He doesn’t take Delta Dental insurance, so you’ll have to pay the difference between what they approve and what his office charges yourself. But the only dentists who currently take Delta Dental seem to be horror shows. So we’ll be dropping insurance at the next enrollment period.
For us he’s worth the drive into Bryan.
