Dr Hoffman is great! I met him when my then 2 year old son was in the hospital, we asked for a plastic surgeon and Dr. Hoffman came out at night to stitch him up. Since then I have been back to his office to have some skin tags removed., I was in and out in 20 Minutes. A week later I’m fully healed, no marks left at all. Great bedside manner and I love the way he explained everything, I am a big-​time questions asker.

A week prior to visiting this office, I had surgery in California. The right side of my face had to be slightly reconstructed and I was left with about 25 stitches along the nasolabial fold of my face. One of my California surgeons recommended that I find a plastic surgeon to remove the sutures (on day 6 or 7) as they would know more than others if the sutures were ready to be removed and would be ultra gentle. So, I was in the Main Line area for a few days and in need of a skilled plastic surgeon).
When I phoned Dr. Ryan Hoffman’s office, his receptionist said that I could come right over. I was so happy to get in as I’d spent most of the morning calling every surgeon on the Main Line to no avail. I was lucky though: he had a cancellation and was free to see me. But even if he was out, he did have a nurse available who could also help.
He was very gentle with removing my stitches (think i had about 25 of them?) and even though he wasn’t the surgeon who had performed my surgery, he gave me advise for how to take care of my incision. I plan on returning for my 1 month follow up as they were a very friendly and approachable office.
I’ve met with a number of plastic surgeons in my days, (hey, I AM from California!) and having a doctor that you feel comfortable with is incredibly important when you’re trusting your looks to someone. i also look for doctors that are board certified in the area that they are working and Dr. Hoffman is board certified in plastic surgery.
