Since we have moved from Kentucky in 2008, we have been to Paris Landing State Park every year through the entire summer. We never fail to go to the beach or what they call the beach area. They do not have sand like you would think a regular Beach would but, it is nice and you can bring a blanket and lay on the grass. Bring some type of swimming shoes because it is rocky but other than that, it is wonderful. On the left side of the beach there is a little area for fishing. They have picnic tables all along the area as well as camping sites for those die-hard campers. There is also a boat launch as well. The boat launche is small, made more so for john boats and sea doos or kayaks and canoes. They also have a swimming pool as you first come into the park on the left side. Its very clean and very well maintained the bathrooms are clean as well. It does cost to swim in the swimming pool but it’s very minimal($ 5.00 per person) and you can stay all day. They also have a little wading pool for toddlers and babies. The employees and Park Rangers are extremely nice and very helpful. I would recommend this state park to anyone and everyone that is looking to have a good time.

The portable bathrooms are horrible. All of them are full of spiders and Mosquitos. Use with caution.

Saturday, April 26th, 2014… Tony and I was driving up to Paris to the World’s Largest Fish Fry from Clarksville on Rt 79. We were enjoying the sunny and clear 84 degree weather. I needed to use the restroom and I saw the sign for the Paris Landing State Park so we stopped. I am so glad we did. This park is LOVELY!!! The waters edge is gorgeous… and there is a swimming beach. Tons of picnic areas with grills and lots of fishing spots… and tons of people fishing. I need to get my fishing license and so does Tony. I want to go back here to swim and picnic this summer once my daughter arrives. There is NO charge. it is all FREE to enjoy! SOWHYAREN’T YOU??? get out there… take pictures and leave reviews… enjoy the state parks and let me know what you think. I love to share and I love to see what others are enjoying
