I’ve been at Cholla Ranch for 1.5 years and just renewed for another six months. Management and maintenance are very responsive and pleasant to deal with. I’ve had zero problems with security. Neighbors are generally quiet; the rare troublemakers are dealt with professionally and with no drama. The grounds are well kept, all things considered. The laundry room and fitness room are small but serviceable. The apartments themselves are reasonably equipped with newer appliances, and the washer/dryer hookups are very convenient. It’s not perfect, of course. The groundskeepers tend to blow dirt and seed pods from the trees into the patios rather than out to the parking lot(which I’ve brought up to Renee in the last couple of days). The pool is decent, but with a very large number of little kids and pranksters who think dumping dish soap into the filters is funny. Driving in the parking lot on trash pickup days tends to be dicey due to the dumpsters’ positioning in corners, with enclosure doors projecting into the lot. There’s a pretty good number of stray and semi-feral cats on the property, but they’re declining. And finally, and this is no fault of the complex… it’s in Buckeye, the most boring and stinky town in all of Arizona. Overall, I’m happy here and don’t regret having renewed my lease.
