Zaxby’s

Had high expectations for this place. We walked on not greeted the staff were horsing around. Finally some girl with a cap and glasses shows up and just stands there and stares at us. As we were about to approach the counter and employee cuts in front to order food and the conversation flowed like they knew each other for years. Laughing, talking about their weekend, smiling. They finished were next and crickets. No hello and back to barely asking for our order and got the order wrong twice. These people need customer service skills. Learn to build rapport with your customers like you did with your team member. And the food just sucked. Lousy portions, cold food and for a wing restaurant, I’ll just go to Pluckers or Green Mesquite for wings! Green Mesquite makes some of the best Smoked BBQ you will ever have. Avoid Zaxby’s or at this least location. Retrain and improve your cold food and portions.

My salad was fresh and very crispy. Chicken was on point. Kiddos had the boneless buffalo wings and they were extremely tender and fresh. Wifey had the chicken tenders and these were also on point. All and all it was a great introduction to Zaxby’s. Definitely a staple for this family. Especially since we were missing one who is honestly the connoisseur of «Le chi-​con ten-​dears» Look for the next post to let you know what Jr thinks…

The San Marcos location is a fine tuned machine. The one in Buda is a disaster. We went on opening day and got the deck of cards for free weekly items. I have yet to have a worker at the counter know what the hell they are doing. A manager needs to be called everytime to process this. Today, the bitch at the counter argued that I ordered something different. Really? I will continue to go back just for the free stuff but I will never buy anything at this location. The workers need better training.

GROSS! The food is horrible and horribly expensive for the quality. You don’t even get a drink included with the meal.
We ordered 3 dinners and threw it out.
Disappointing waste of money.

Food was GREAT! Awesome service. They’re so nice and welcoming. The cashier Cheyanne was super smiley. First time here, I plan to bring others to try!

Very disappointed, the food was decent, quality fast food. Although my experience was anything but fast. With only two vehicles in front of me going through the drive through, I waited over 15 mins, just to get to the window. My experience only worsened from there. From the time I handed my card to the cashier, till I received my food, it was another 12 minute wait. While waiting I watch the cashier and other employees walk around lost not knowing what to do. How about hand me my drinks atleast, oh no she was too busy making a milkshake for I’m sure someone 3 or four cars behind me in the drive through by now. Couldn’t belive the wait, atleast the food would be fresh, uh. nope. Just soggy fries and chicken, would tell it had been sitting there in the to go container for a while. My toast was even soggy. Couldn’t believe it. I even took a picture of the recipe from when she charged my card to me pulling out the drive through. Highly disappointed, hopefully they have a manager step it up over there, lots of high hopes as it’s less than a mile from my house.

Food was decent had the number one the sauce that they have is really good wasn’t happy with the portion sizes, had to go order more food because it’s just not enough that number one is like a kids meal.
