I came to visit Buena Park to see one of my dear friends and was trying to look for something in my car for him, so I pulled over to this little taco spot I found on Unilocal to get a couple tacos period I only waited about seven minutes for three of the most fresh and amazing tacos since I’ve been to Mexico. That’s awesome that they had in the salsa bar was so awesome and so fresh and spicy that I had to eat very many radishes so if you have a soft palate do not eat the salsa! The one that actually comes on it is really good and it doesn’t really need any extra sauce so it to be honest. I’m definitely going to come back to this place next time I come into this area. they were really sweet about saying the number and order in English as well as Spanish considering I am a white girl LOL. Thanks you guys for the fresh tacos :-) there’s a bar across the street if you really need a beer with your tacos and the to go orders come already with salt if you like it.

There’s a new cook here who screws up my camarones a la diabla order. Every time he makes it, it tastes different. Sometimes, it’s spicy, sometimes it’s sweet. Sometimes the sauce is barely enough to cover the shrimp, sometimes it’s more like a shrimp soup. I come here like twice a week and always try to geIf this continues, I will stop coming here.

Breakfast burritos are the best around. I prefer the ham, which, is like sandwich ham, but that’s the only kind of ham I like for breakfast. The potatoes inside are a very rare dice/slice which are perfect. Al pastor one of my favorites here but soo greasy. So I can only stomach two tacos worth in any day. Fresh made tortillas set this place apart. Salsas are the low point of the place to be sure. Consistency and ingredient quality are issues here. Which are common problems with divey Mexican places like this. Love the staff here. Typically I order some breed of tacos and a burro de carnitas. Parking would suck if there was like one less parking spot in the lot. So it just… Kinda sucks? Dumpy plaza with a liquor store, laundromat, salon, and this place. But darn if I don’t love those burros here. Tip the nice lady why don’t ya!

Been coming here for the past two years. Wished I checked in more often! This is one of the best tacos and breakfast places I’ve had and most places I tried are in and close by El Monte. The meat is great and best part, the salsa are really spicy and amazing carrots/jalapeños. The shrimp taco is also very yummy. I’ve read other reviews saying the menudo is good and that is the next thing I would have to try!

First time eating here. I went for the homemade tortillas. Well, they weren’t fresh at all. The meat in my tacos was a lil overcooked. Maybe next time it will be better but it will take a while for me to go back.

The best Mexican food in Buena Park. The Al Pastor, Birria, Asada and Pozole all amazing. The burritos on point. Excellent portions. Quality is great, service and price are equally fantastic. Definitely a great addition to Buena Park.

Boyfriend and I were disappointed. Saw this place had 4 stars, so why not? Meh. It was okay. Nothing amazing. Pretty oily, but it was tolerable.

*** Pit stop review(Buena Park) *** I was working nearby and decided to make a stop here for some grub. From the outside this place can easily be missed and dismissed as another hole in the wall tacqueria. Thank to Unilocal,I actually checked out some reviews before entering and I liked what I saw. I ordered the three taco(pastor) combination plate with the side of beans and rice. As usual I took a spoon full of re-fried beans. Boy, the beans were yummy! The beans were nice and mashed with some good flavor. The pastor tacos were delicious! I like food that has a punch with flavor! The pastor hit the spot. There are plenty of clean seats on the inside to enjoy a good lunch. This is a place I’d like to return to and try another dish. Food = delicious Seating area = very clean Service = very friendly Restroom = unknown(bathroom in the back behind the kitchen)

I was seriously disappointed with the food. The food portions were so small. We ordered chile verde and it taste like it had been sitting there for weeks. The ribs in red chile taste like birria… if i wanted birria i would have ordered it. The pozole was flavorless… Note to self do not go back!

This tiny restaurant — which is sandwiched between a liquior store, laudromat and a hair salon in a small strip mall — is a real Mexican food gem and especially noted for their fabulous soups. The meats are full flavored if not a tad salty. My favorites are the asada, birria de res, carnitas, cabeza and al pastor. The pollo(chicken) was tasty but a bit dry and most certainly so with rice and beans rolled into a burrito. The buche(pig stomach) was too hard and chewy. The famous salsas you find at the counter, especially the orange colored one made from habanero chilies and used to make the diablo sauce, are extremely hot! They are on another stratosphere of spiciness most cannot handle. Fortunately, they have both a mild salsa rojas(red) and salsa verde(green) option with the degree of spiciness dialed down considerably. You just have to ask for taco sauce and they will provide it for you. The best menu items, in my opinion, are their delicious caldos(soups). The Caldo de Pollo(chicken soup) and Caldo de Res(beef soup) have a smooth, rich meaty flavor and filled with fresh vegetables including sliced carrots, zucchini, chayote, cabbage, potatoes and corn on the cob. They are seasoned perfectly. The Pozole and Menudo are very rich in flavor, texture and ingredients. They are as good as it gets! All soups come with warm tortillas, diced onions and cilantro. The meat quality is also fresh and top-notch. Every caldo I have enjoyed here easily supplants those I have tried at any Mexican restaurant. Until now, I thought soup this good can only be prepared at home. Orders are placed at the counter whether you dine-in or order take-out. El Ranchito Taqueria also caters so grab a menu. Service is fast but friendly. There is always an English speaking person taking orders. Solid, authentic Mexican food all around and unarguably my recommended choice for menudo and other favorite caldos in town.

Tacos are bigger than usual($ 1.69 each). I had two carne asada and two carnitas, but I wasn’t overly impressed by the taste. They do not have fountain drinks, so if you’re eating there, you must buy a grossly overpriced can or bottle. I will visit again and try the menudo everyone is raving about.

This place is awesome! It’s really close by my work and so a bunch of us are always coming here to get our taco fix! This place is a hole in the wall– you can’t come here so much for ambiance, but you can definitely come here for the food! Great prices on tacos and incredibly warm customer service. There are two ladies, sometimes just one hat takes out order and a man that cooks. They always remember our faces and are so sweet. I’ve ordered their chicken tacos, carnitas, carne asada, and nachos. I’ve tried their tortas, burritos, and everything was delicious. I’ve heard their menudo is the big seller. They have all the trimmings of jalapeños en vinegre, radishes, salsas, and limes. I always end with a large horchata :-) if anything, I’ll come in for an horchata :-). The business has been so kind to us too! Knowing that we’re regulars, they’ve given us free chips and even waved my coworker $.09 cents when he didn’t have the change! How kind! Everything is clean and again, the people are just humble and thankful for your business! We’re just as thankful to have their delicious food!

I actually found this place on Unilocal.I decided to stop and have some Menudo before driving up North. It was very good. I was impressed, I usually don’t eat Menudo anywhere just cause of what it all involves in making the(stinky) soup. It’s my favorite though… Anyway, glad I found this place before heading home… Thanks Unilocal

you want good /quick mex food, you want this place! I found this place on a google search a few weeks back, and i’ve been there 4 times already. The burritos are 4.99 and they are large & in charge. You get free chips, they have good chili style salsa, free pickled carrots & jalapenos, and radishes. I cant wait to try everything there, all the plates i see look tasty. The people working there are friendly and very helpful. Its small, but not too small Go there, you wont be disappointed!

El Ranchito is a great small little taqueria on the west side of Fullerton, close by the Fullerton airport. It’s a great spot for a hangover in the morning after a long night out or some pre football game food before the big game. You can taste quality and the care that goes into the food, and all the food is prepared to perfection. The menudo is by far the best item from here and has great flavor. They deff do not add more hominy than tripe, which is a plus! The breakfast burritos are good and the rest is all tasty mexican goodness. I definitely recommend this spot to any people who love authentic, great tasting, quality mexican food!

A legit taqueria I used to use the laundromat in the same plaza to wash our comforter(using their big washer) that’s how I got introduce to them. A snack while waiting for the wash cycle to finish. What I’ve had so far: Fish Taco — surprisingly very good. I’ve never had fish taco with cheese before, but it was good. They give you a lot of fish in an order and it’s fried perfectly. Fish Ceviche —(I was brave that day, lol.) A very good ceviche. It came with some tostada shells, which are the perfect vessel for this dish. I just needed a bit more acid(lemon juice, which you can adjust yourself) and it was good to go. The salsa’s are so good. Note to self, get more next time. It’s not a pretty place, far from it. But the food is good and the service was okay. I’ll definitely be back.
