Don’t get me wrong I like this place specially their wings and fries but the wait ugh! I waited at least 45 to order and delivered. You guys need to hire more staff.

My wife and kids walked in on a Weekday afternoon really wanting to like his place. It had all the positives. It’s close to home, they have a huge selection of beer, it’s very clean, and there is a gameroom for the kids, But unfortunately I was disappointed. As we walked in I was surprised how large the place is. Theres a large eating area for families, a smaller room for private parties, a small bar, a 21 and over area, and the kids game room. The place was near empty except a few regulars at the bar. I approached the bartender/cashier to order my 2xl pizza and xl pizza and let’s just say she had a way of making me feel like If you’re not a regular, you don’t matter as much; Like those places you see on Bar Rescue if you know what I mean. She seemed preoccupied chatting up the regulars at the bar and I politely waited for her to finish even pausing mid order as to not interrupt her. I order my pizzas and 4 soft drinks and the total is $ 60. I’m thinking that’s kinda expensive For 2 pizzas and soft drinks, But I tell myself the pizza must be good. So I change $ 10 for quarters and take the boys to the gameroom to kill sometime. First thing I see is Ms. Pacman and a pinball machine, awesome! I head straight to ms. Pacman and get about 10 minutes of play for .25 cents. The boys are having fun and all the games look to be in good condition and in working order; Unlike most places. I leave the boys and head to our table to wait for the food, and wait we did; We waited over 50 minutes for our two pizzas and we were the only ones sitting in the dining area; the place is damn near empty. But whatever, the food eventually comes out and we’re hungry so what’s the problem right? Wrong. The pizza is soggy and at room temperature. We even touched the pan and it was cool to the touch. At this point I’m kinda irritated, But I don’t have a choice so we dig in. Despite the cold pizza The«Duke» was pretty tasty. As we eat up, customers are coming in and the place is starting to pick up and we notice something funny. Everyones pizza is coming out in 10 – 15 minutes. My wife and I look at each other like what the hell, these people just got here and their already eating? Then to add insult to injury, we see a lady near us fanning her piping hot pizza before she lifts it from the pan and you can see the cheese all stretchy and gooey, I was like WTF! What happened to our pizza? My wife tells me that she suspects our pizza was done a long time ago and had been sitting out for some reason. I don’t know if I pissed someone off and it was intentional, or if there was a legitimate reason for our poor service, But I was done. Sorry Out of the park, but 3STRIKES you’re out! So to sum it up, Service was poor. The pizza is overpriced. The quality of the pizza was meh. The positives are that the place is very clean. Kid friendly. Nice beer selection. Will I come back? Idk, maybe for a beer or during a Dodger game.

Team Party on a Sunday night. Got there around 9pm. Tip! Stop at McDonalds Drive-Thru before coming here. 90-minute wait for 2 mediocre small pizzas. What did the hungry kids do while waiting? Waste money in their stupid arcade, where about 1⁄3 of the machines ran out of tickets. The employee behind the counter would just shrug, like«oh well, whatever.» It was terrible as Season Ticket, and it’s still terrible. Next year, we’ll eat elsewhere before and then just come here to celebrate with our Team. Better yet, take the Team somewhere else.

Went here for dinner on a week night. We ordered wings and curly fries. The curly fries were good. The wings how ever fell very short. They tasted old and stale like they had been fried much earlier then microwaved before serving us. The meat was luke warm. My husband and I tried to eat them eventually only eating a couple then giving up leaving the rest on the table. The layout looks nice and lots of space. It was not even busy so I am very hesitant to come back when it is.

Went there for drinks and kill some time playing pool. Lots of young kids teams showing up for party. Had some fries but didn’t get to try other foods. Update(6/8/16)…by no means did I mean any negativity by the amount of kids in the location. Matter of fact, as a father of 2, I find it quite cool. The amount of craft beer on tap was amazing too. I was able to get some naughty sauce from noble ale works and that indeed put a smile on my face. I do intend to try some other foods next time, like the pizza being that it’s a pizza joint. I have edited my review score because I do understand that my intended purpose that day was not your model for the business. I might have been unfair in reviewing it under what I went there for(a quick drink with a couple friends) vs the actual intention of the place. The location had plenty of parking, the kids were extremely happy and contained inside the spot(safety for parents), plenty of activities to keep the kids busy while the parents can enjoy a drink, lots of open seating and yes, the 2 pool tables were good too. Definitely a family friendly location, great customer service and by the response to my review from the owner I think they genuinely care about how their business is portrayed. Earns extra points in my book.

Been here a few times as an after party to Badfish Roller Derby bouts. This is a good place and the pizza is wonderful. However, the wait time is a little long when its busy. Perfect if you get there first ahead of the crowd and order… however if you are late… well the wait time is pretty darn long. I just wish, when they know a group is coming(as we tell the places were we are going to be there as a crowd) that they bring in more people or simplify the ordering process. Good Pizza Good Variety of Beers Good Service Fast service ONCE the order is placed - Bad wait time to just place order(when busy)

Just dined there for my son’s end of baseball season party. Ordered wings and a salad. Wings came out pretty fast and tasted like the same frozen product most restaurants serve. The salad on the other hand never came out. After an hour the manger came by my table and asked why I still had a number up. I told him I never got my salad, he said«oh those take a bit longer». Well 1 another hour passed and I never got my salad.

Let me start off by saying the food is good, and the ambience is awesome if you’re looking for a variety of drink options and sports. However, the reason for my poor rating has to do solely on the horrible customer service provided by the general manager«Nick». It was crazy busy and the GM «Nick» was walking around pretending to be busy instead of providing his staff with support. I asked him a question and he put his hand up «like I’m way to busy to answer you» and then proceeded to answer with the look of disgust on his face. He didn’t just do this to me but a few other patrons as well. And then when another patron tried to address the poor customer service he received tonight, Nick cut him off while he was talking and walked away while saying«I’ll be back». Nick walked away and started picking up dishes from other tables, completely blowing him off. While my fiancé and I stared and watched in complete shock at what was happening before us, the customer who was trying to talk to him walked over to him held out his hand to introduce himself AGAIN and still did not get the time of day! For this reason alone, my fiancé and I will not be returning to this establishment. As long as the extremely rude general manager Nick is running the place, we will not be contributing to the revenue.

Oh my gosh. Try the Chuck Norris Pizza deep dish. Price $ 20.99. It has buffalo chicken, bacon, avocado, and ranch. Yes, the avocado are big slices. Also, the Fried Egg Monster deep dish($ 25.99). It has a freakin’ egg on it! So good… I don’t remember how many eggs were on the pizza itself. But the pizza had a combination of meatball, sausage, pepperoni, pepperoni, chicken, and garlic. I drool just thinking about these pizzas. The place kind of has a family feel to it. There’s an arcade for kids, a private party room for birthdays, long rows of bench tables, and billiards for grown adults. And then a bar of alcohol for fun times. I was surprised at the amount of craft beer they had, both local and international. One bartender usually handles it, but they usually have a different bartender every time I go. I still remember the first time I came here. They let me sample more than 5 of their taps without even ordering a pint yet. That was amazing. I know the price is expensive, especially the deep dish pizza. But I highly recommend trying it at least once. I’ve personally kept coming back for the pizza and beer combination. Other things that are good include the criss-cut fries, the garlic fries, and yes pepperoni CHIPS. Bring family too. This place is group friendly. Definitely a place to share that amazing pizza. Some of the best pizzas I’ve had were in Little Italy, San Diego in those trattoria style restaurants where their English hides under a thick Italian accent. I even took a culinary class there from one of those ladies, teaching me how to make Italian food like pizza’s, gnocchi’s, pasta, etc. So my standards for pizza are pretty high. Believe me when I say Out of the Park’s pizza is not even out of the ballpark. It’s out of this world! I wanna know who’s that chef behind those doors! He or she has made one of the best artisan pizzas in such an unexpected place in OC.

I have a really high standard for pizza, mostly because Ive had some really amazing pizzas and anything less is just disappointing. I am always looking for new specialty pizza spots and finding this one so close to home felt almost too good to be true. The place was pretty large with an open dining room, game arcade and a nice little 21 and over corner. The main room had reserved tables all over them so if you are coming with the family good luck with seating. Luckily it was just myself and my girlfriend so we sat in the 21 and over corner which was surprisingly quite compared to the main eating area. The pizzas here come in various sizes and the large is indeed large. I got the Chuck Norris which came with chicken and avocado on top and this was by far one of the best tasting pizzas I’ve had in a very long time! The flavors were so strong and complimenting to each other i was in literal heaven. This place is a bit pricey however, but well worth the amount of pizza you get. I look forward to coming back and trying some of the other speciality pizzas.

The setup here is different. You walk up to the register and order your food, then they bring it out to you. My friends had gotten here before I did, and they weren’t impressed with the service. I felt like the service I received was pretty good, so I have no complaints. It’s definitely a kid-friendly place. When I got here, there were kids all over the place, while their parents got their drinks on. I ordered the chili, since I needed something without as much dairy and gluten as possible, without being a high maintenance prick. When it arrived, we were all surprised to see the bowl of chili covered in cheese. I scraped all the cheese off, and there literally was enough to roll into the size of a tennis ball. The chili itself was perfect for any meat-lover. My friend ordered the pizza and enjoyed it, even though the crust was burnt. We stopped by the bathroom before we left, and honestly, it was pretty dirty, even though I’ve definitely seen worse. There was even toilet paper out in the hallway. We felt bad for whoever was going to have to clean it up. All in all, it was a pretty okay experience.

Pretty large place but so many tables were reserved. We didn’t know where to sit at first so we ended up in the 21 and over corner spot. It was nice and quiet for a Friday evening so we didn’t mind sitting back there. Well the pizza here is definitely out of the park. So many specialty pizzas to choose from but we ended up with the Chuck Norris. And I must say it definitely packed a punch. The flavors all went incredibly together; buffalo chicken, bacon, avocado, buffalo sauce, and ranch. I would say it was a bit pricey but I think it was worth it for one night. We do want to come back here to try their Fried Egg pizza for sure!

Please for the love of God fix whatever problem you guys are having because I don’t want anyone else to feel like this. It just sucks! PS Dan, I know the difference between the flu and food poisoning, I setup a Unilocal just to let your business know how disappointed I am. I really wanted to like it here. I really do, but cant. The place does have some promise but the layout and the procedures here are not very customer friendly. First of all, ALL of the tables are reserved. How is that possible? So I can’t just stop in with the family if I want to? Second of all, all ordering is done in the back by the bar. Get in line and wait with all the others. Where is the menu? They literally have one menu in the whole place. No sign on the wall. No menu board. Just one lonely menu if you can find it because it is being shared by the whole restaurant. Third of all. I ordered the boneless wings and what I received was… I dunno but it definitely was not«wings». I took a picture but deleted it soon after. Unilocalers, Avoid this place.

I’m not going to lie. I wasn’t expecting much from this place… but the pizza was surprisingly delicious! The reason I only gave Out of the park pizza 4 stars is because the fact that the cashiers messed up on our orders twice, and over charged us for our food. Then we had to put up a fight to get our money back. Also, the cinnamon bites icing was way to cinnamony. like the cinnamon bites had enough cinnamon. Regular icing would do just fine. The happy hour for sunday wasn’t impressive either. But we will return for pizza! Just train your cashiers :)

So, I have had this place bookmarked for quite a while, and last night my husband and I were in the mood for some pizza and wings. Both the posted Unilocal photos, as well as their website pics lead one to believe that this is a dimly lit, cozy pizza parlor, with lots of craft beer, and the kind of place that two grown ups might like to spend their Saturday night. Imagine our suprise when we walked into this place and found it lit up like high noon on a Saturday. Harsh to be sure. There were more little kids running around than a Chuck E. Cheese. We took one look in, one look at each other, turned around and walked out. This is not the relaxing type of environment that we choose to spend our time at.

41 Beers on tap and they are rotated as they expire. And they have a really nice selection from IPA, DIPA, sours, stouts(Peanut Butter Milk Stout) and Left Hand Nitro. I am a wing nut being from Buffalo. The sauce for the wings has a good flavor and not too hot. The wings are baked… so didn’t come out crispy as I would like. Talked to Trena(who seems to know everything about beer and can make excellent recommendations) and they can fry the wings, but she gets them twice baked so they come out crispier. I will have to try that out. The place is HUGE. I would say easy 2510 person picnic tables, 2 pool tables, an actual arcade for the kids. TVs are everywhere. 21 and older section for the groups that want to stay away from the kiddos. Going to get my own stool at this place.

Pretty decent place to have a piece of pizza. Lots of televisions to watch whatever sports you’re looking for and a pretty good selection of beers on tap. The set up is a little confusing. I wasn’t really sure where you go to order pizza. You kinda have to walk in to the bar in the back. However, pizza was great. We ordered the Labor inducer, spicy red sauce, bacon, pepperoni and pineapples and added jalapeños. The bartender recommended it as well as a pints that would be good with it. Sadly, I don’t really drink beer. The place is noisy, but it had arcade games for the kids to keep them entertained while parents watched the football game of the week.

I was bummed when the previous pizza place at this location closed. Their food was good, there were arcade games for the kids & as little league coaches, my husband and I would always treat our teams here. I was pleasantly surprised when Out of the Park Pizza opened(another pizza place in the same spot!!) We came as a family and were really shocked at how great the new place looked. 100% different than the previous establishment and all in good ways. There is huge selection of craft beers(no, not craft as in blue moon or shocktop), legit local breweries which I love. The pizza is fantastic as are the appetizers. Prices are TOTALLY reasonable also. We’ve taken our little league team and everyone was very happy with the food as well as the service. Thank you for taking care of our team!!! all day happy hour on sundays! came here last month with a party of 8 + baby, and we absolutely loved it! once you walk in, you pretty much order first and seat yourself with a table number. the servers bring your freshly made food out and bring you whatever else you may need. there’s a section where you pick up your own plates and utensils near the soda dispenser and there are plenty of napkins on each table. the all day happy hour special for sundays are a steal! who wouldn’t want to come here on a sunday to watch the game, share a couple of exotic beers on tap, and have great tasting food? we all ordered the following: 1 large Stephen Colbert pizza — it’s an all american pepperoni pizza and it was pretty damn delicious! perfect crust, perfect amount of cheese and they didn’t skimp out on the pepperonis(unlike some other places). wings — teriyaki, bbq, naked: ONPOINT. have it with ranch. pizza poppers — these poppers were stuffed with a couple slices of pepperoni and cheese. YUM. bacon jalapeño cheese fries — uhm… duh. it has bacon. always a winner! i loved the fact that they didn’t dumb the jalepeño slices with juices in there. chili cheese fries — a lot of chili and cheese and definitely tasty! the only ONE thing this restaurant can improve on is properly training the servers to know what items are still needed to come out. a few times, the servers didn’t know if they brought our food out or not and we had to go through our receipt to make sure what food items were brought out and what weren’t. other than that, they were attentive, incredibly nice, and helpful. our group is actually planning on coming here again this weekend, so we’re looking forward on trying other items on the menu and get that same great service! :D

Came here last night with a party of 8 and one toddler. There were tables open, and the instructions at the door were to order at the bar. This was fine with us, since we wanted to view their beer selection anyway. They have an awesome selection of beers. There were many that were from local craft breweries. The hubby and I ear marked a couple to try in the future. We ended up going with the sour cherry beer. One word… AMAZING!!! It was cold and tart, a great thing on a muggy summer night. The atmosphere is what I assume a pizza place should be. Kind of loud, and kids playing games while the adults enjoy beverages and yell at various games on tv. Now I have to say, the Angels Jersey with the picture of Tim Salmon and JT Snow immediately made me love this place.(I am hoping that they do show the Angel games when they are on. If so, they have made a customer group for life.) For food, our group decided to order a little bit of everything… Pizza Balls– These were good. They were little balls of dough with some cheese and pepperoni inside. They came with a dipping sauce, and were a big hit. Wings– We ordered 6 of each teriyaki, bbq, and plain. The sauces wings were well covered, and were juicy and flavorful. The plain wings were perfect for the couple of us who didn’t like sauce. Chili cheese fries– This was a rather large serving of waffle fries smothered in chili and cheese, plus all of the fixings. Very good topping to fry ratio. Jalapeño bacon chedder fries– These were also waffle fries topped with cheeses, jalapeños, and crumbly bacon bits. Once again, the toppings were a good ratio for the amount of fries. Everyone at our table loved them. Finally… The Pizza! The Stephen Colbert, was the pizza we ordered. First off, any pizza place that has a Colbert pizza, is a winner in my book. I love me some Colbert ;). His pizza is described as the most«American» pizza, with just cheese and pepperoni. We ordered the 10 piece large pizza. The pizza was hot and fresh when it was brought to our table. We quickly passed out pieces and munched. The sauce was tasty and the pizza didn’t give you greasy lips after taking a bite. The crust was the home town pizza shop type, as I would expect. It was great, all around. So all in all, we really enjoyed our time here. The prices were reasonable, and the beer was phenomanal. The service was awesome. They didn’t even get annoyed when it took me five minutes to decide on a beer. The food came out in a staggered order, which we appreciated. We will be coming here again. Especially if we can see the Angel games up on the screens(:

It’s a place with great ‘Merican eats, and really great beer. Been going to the Anaheim location for years. And now this new store is in Buena Park a mile from my office. That’s dangerous. Why? One of the best selections of craft beer in OC, and creative and tasty pizza place eats. Is there a line to get your order in at rush time? Yes there is. But it’s bearable — and I wouldn’t trust a place that didn’t have a line at crunch time. That’s a sign of good things. Might I wait a few minutes longer for my «The Duke» pizza, and Butt Naked bone in wings to come out when I show up at the same time as the rest of humanity? Well, yes I have. But, the simple story is — the best lineup of craft brew taps in the area, and a totally munch-able food menu. There’s nothing to complain about in that combo. That goes for both locations.

i went and checked this place out because the previous owner and restaurant prior to this was pretty cool. I walked in around 5 p.m. and there was no one in there besides the server and bartender. my friend and I sat down at the bar and was greeted quickly by the bartender. that’s cool — everyone loves a quick and hospitable server/bartender upon sitting down. let me start by saying that there are many beer options which is a plus for me since I love a great craft beer. but here’s the downside; the bartender(male, beard, short, fluffy fellow) complained about what beers were on tap and continuously gave his two cents on what the owner should be putting on tap. for one, I don’t need to hear about your complaining about what your boss should be doing with his business. that is something you should talk to him/her in private, away from customers. secondly, the fact that there are so many beer options is great and the bartender let us have samples on beers we were unfamiliar with which made choosing beers easier. on the downside, as time passed, the bartender starts eating his lunch in front of us at the bar. I mean I understand that you work in the food industry and that taking breaks are impossible at times but come on now, keep it professional and eat behind closed doors, away from your customers. my friend and I both worked in the food industry and felt really uncomfortable that he felt it was ok to eat in front of us and other customers that had just sat down at the bar. it was pretty disgusting. what topped it off was that he wiped his nose with his hand and did not wash his hands. just makes me think how dirty the food is being handled behind the kitchen doors. that was definitely the deal breaker for me. I will NOT be coming back. Hope this was helpful

A few years back this was another pizza/arcade place and the food was pretty good, price was fair, and the workers were nice. However, that is no longer the case. I came here last night with my family to check out the changes since the last owners went out of business. Sure, the décor looks more modern and bright, but everything else was awful. We walk in around 8:30pm Friday night and see that we have to order at the bar section, no big deal. We look at the menu on the screens(that move slides way to quickly, they should have several screens with one slide if they are going to do this), and we notice the prices for the size of the pizza’s are pricy so we decide to share one extra large«the works» pizza and one order of boneless wings. We were in the middle of ordering when the guy tells us to hold on as he begins to talk to the lady next to us. We awkwardly waited, midorder, for about 3 minutes when he finally yells for some other guy to finish our order up. The pizza tasted watery which I’m assuming was because the sauce was either can sauce or they mixed in way too much water to their batch. Either way, it made the pizza soggy and sloppy. They were VERY light on the toppings as well, many of the slices didn’t have pepperoni or mushroom and the ones that did had like two tiny pieces. The only positive I can say about the pizza was that the crust was decent when you didn’t bite I to a soggy area. We ordered mild boneless wings and the amount of sauce was laughable. One of the pieces was undercooked and I had to spit it out. I would have been happier with chicken nuggets from McDonalds. Also, the cups they give you are tiny and they were out of lids. $ 40ish bucks for one pizza, one order of wings, and 3 drinks. We won’t be coming back.

Pastrami pizza! If you like pastrami, mustard, and pickles then you will not be disappointed. All on top of a cheese pizza(mustard takes place of the sauce). It doesn’t get better than that. Beer selection is very good also, especially for cypress area. I don’t think they have many, if any, places that serve craft beer. I’ll stick to my coors light though. Service was excellent also. The place is huge. Games for kids.
