After calling every hotel and cabins in the Buena Vista and Salida area for a one night rental Labor Day weekend (everyone was booked), I found the listing for this vacation home on VRBO. I expected it would be booked, too, but was surprised when it was available. While the website listed one night stays, the owners were reluctant to let us have it for just one night on a holiday weekend, but did agree, for which we were grateful.
What a find! This is a beautiful «home away from home,» complete with new accommodations, plenty of space for everyone, and a convenient but private location. After a long day on the road, it was just what we needed. Spacious, beautiful, and restorative. We would stay here again without hesitation!
