Amazing French toast! My favorite place ever for French Toast.

Awesome corned beef on latke. The cole slaw is good. The pickle was okay. The pastrami was good, I like how the lox bagel is served with cucumber, tomato and onion. The menu stretches over thhe whole corner counter. Definitely will go back.

The service is terrible. I asked for a cup and I never said what its for. They gave me a cup, I filled it up with lemonade and here comes the old ass guy and says«you asked for a cup for water» I never asked for a cup for water. He grabbed my cup away and kicked me out of the store. The pizza bagel is cold and hard. I think they were laying there for months. The chili is the only good thing I’ve tried. I normally don’t write reviews but people need to know this. At the resturaunt I work in, we don’t need an extra dollar or two. If people just want a drink we give em a drink. If they don’t have 15¢ or a $ 1 we just give it to them. Not here at Bagel Bialy. You are lucky with the 1 star. Oh and I love it when they respond they always have excuses for you. They do apologize but that’s all that is needed. NONEEDFOREXCUSES!!! That right there is terrible customer service!!! Nice job guys(sarcasm)

We went there today for the second time this month. If you like deli, than this is a good place to go. The chicken soup is ok. The tomato is great, but it is usually only available on Tuesday. The bagels are great and they have real belly lox. Don’t hesitate to give this place a try.

Good food but they are not very flexible about tweaking orders. I wanted to substitute a couple vegetables in my omelette order and they gave me a hard time. It’s not the end of the world but it is not really the best customer service.

This is my first time ever writing a review, I literally just downloaded this app on my phone so I could write it! I went there for the first time today and ordered a chicken Ceasar salad. I live 30 minutes away and was highly disappointed to find out that it was not what I ordered at all once I got home. It was some type of chicken salad with no dressing, the chicken was dry and extremely hard to chew. I called and asked for the Manager and spoke with Mike. He was extremely rude and insisted that I was wrong. He was a smart ass, not polite or helpful at. I will never go there again.

Just ran in there on Easter morning. Place was packed as ever, but plenty of counter help moves things along. Ordered a nova sandwich well toasted and came home to perfection. Great bagel, perfectly toasted and topped. I know bagels are an emotional decision, but this place is great!

This deli is amazing. The value is there, the food is delicious, and its a locally owned and operated deli. Full disclosure, you do have to wait but its 110% worth it. We walked in today, took our number, 78 and they were on 73. We waited roughly 25 minutes but didnt mind at all. The owners wife was handing out cookie samples and chatted with us for a while, I was undecided on a sandwich so she got me a sample, it was a cool atemoshphere. Whike waiting too the owner himself came out and was quality checking the food, which I appreciated. The matzo ball soup is some of my favorite Ive ever had and their dessert/bagel selection is top notch. I also recommend purchasing a hard salami, they have the good stuff.

Yummy! Went in on a Friday evening just before closing. Very efficient and nice staff. I ordered a bunch of salads, a sandwich wrap, cream cheese, bagel crisps and banana chocolate chip bread. Turkey wrap was very good, full of meat and bacon and was joined by a large pickle spear and side of potato salad. Cream cheese was tasty, creamy cole slaw was delicious. Everything was really fresh. Look forward to trying my other purchases. Lots of big bagels and other salads available. Enjoy!

For those of you from NYC or surrounding area, this spot is like David’s Bagels on the LES. For those of you not from NYC or surrounding area, these bagels have a thin crust and airy bread in the middle. People who are unfamiliar with proper bagels will probably call them«bread-y» but I think it’s the particular style of bagel. Service is really great here. The counter guys are fast, friendly and make your order to-go timely. There’s also ample seating inside with free wifi. If you’re eating in, you receive a number for your table and they bring the food to you. Definitely in my rotation. Have not tried some of the other fare and will leave at four stars until I do. Solid spot that is worth your time and money. Note: It’s also less expensive than some other deli spots in the area. I’m really unsure how people gauge expensive v not expensive if they don’t travel to other spots. No sticker shock for this Unilocaler.

Stopped at this location to pick up some bagels and cream cheese. You get 13 bagels when you order a dozen which is nice. Service was OK. The bagels were good but not my favorite kind. These were a little too bready for my taste. Cream cheese(Cucumber + Chive) was good but expensive for a little tub. Would I return? Maybe. I prefer the Chicago Bagel place on Milwaukee Ave. which is not that far away from here, so that would be my go to place. Cheers to All

I heard from the owner of the deli to rectify the situation and proud to say that I would recommend this restaurant and looks like it was a misunderstanding

I’m sorry but virtually everything about this place sucks. The meats, absolutely the coffee — cheap losers, the breads. The fella behind the counter are great — but honestly — for the most part this place just sucks!

I am sorry to have to write this review but today I stopped by to get soup and sandwich to go and it took way too long. And this was after lunch time. There was only one customer seated in booth, the owner was sitting at table doing some kind of work and there were at least 3 guys that kept walking back and forth in front of me behind counter. Not once did any of them say a word to me. I stood there waiting and finally I asked if someone was going to take a my order. One guy said in a minute. I think the customer service was terrible, how would it be if they actually were busy? Food good or bad does not matter, I will not go back due to treatment I received.

I always get a kick reading some of my fellow elite and regular Unilocalers. Especially ones that downgrade a restaurant that in actuality are quite exceptionally good. Too expensive… that’s bunk. The food stinks… that’s bunk too! The Original Bagel & Bialy provides a wonderful value for the money. Fresh tasty and filling. The corn beef and all the entrees I have had are in the delicious tradition of delicatessen history. The bagels are delicious as well. All pretty pretty pretty good for a strip mall deli! You can’t go wrong. The counters guys are fun too. All with a sense of humor. Good food and a smile, couldn’t ask for more.

I just attended a breakfast event at Ivy Hall Elementary school where the bagels were provided by Original Bagel & Bialy. I hadn’t had a bagel from here before, so this is my first taste and experience with them. These bagels are DELICIOUS! They are soft on the inside, but dense enough to form a good crust on the outside. They also have a great homemade quality to them — they are definitely MUUUUCH better than the grocery store varieties, and light years ahead of Dunkin Donuts and Panera. I think these are now my favorite traditional style bagel. Yum!

Service — the front counter employees started out iffy. He almost looked annoyed by me at first because I kept asking questions about what fish item was good to order. He didn’t seem to know and kept saying that the Reuben was a popular item. Eventually he warmed up to me and answered more questions I had. He turned out to be a really nice cashier. Order — I ordered 1.) coffee, locks bagel, and 2.) scrambled eggs with bacon and pancakes. The cost of 2. Was only $ 6.50 and there seemed to be a good portion of eggs with a good size pancakes, and bacon was perfect. As for the lox bagel, this was awesome!!! I’m actually craving for more. I went to get coffee and there was none. But they were quick to make more and didn’t take long for my freshly brewed coffee to arrive. I went to my car to just drop off my coffee and one of the employees were nice enough to walk my food over to where I was. I wasn’t expecting it and was going to go back to get it, but just that small gesture of great customer service was what made me give the 5 stars. I think I found my breakfast restaurant.

Jewish American traditional good home cooking which makes for an amazing breakfast spot and deli. Four types of lox, several cream cheese varieties to compliment their awesome bagels/bialy. Everything made right in the back the way mamma used to… Every type of salad that can be made in a deli is made here. Order at the counter then get coffee and drinks at the self serve station afterwards put your number up to stake your claim at a seat. If its crowded and your with friends better implement the divide and conquer plan to ensure a seat. The only draw back is the everything bagels are too salty especially with the belly lox.

So after being here many times I have to downgrade my rating to 3-stars. This is entirely based on pricing. This place, however delicious, is VERY expensive. I have mostly come here at lunch time, because I get mad cravings for bagel-sandwiches! When I come, I order turkey with cheese on a bagel(nothing else on it) with an order of fries. The bill comes to $ 11.72 — for a BAGEL Sandwich and FRIES. REALLY?!? WTF? This is way to rich for my blood… so i can assure you that my visits here will be very few and far between. Even Panera is cheaper, and THEY’RE expensive! This place is really cute, and seems to have great food — but just way too expensive.
