Came in on NYE. Had some apps, cheese stix, boneless chicken w cider sauce and pot stickers for everyone. Not bad at all. Ordered a sizzling chicken and shrimp, came out hot on a hot plate. It was good, I’ll get this again. My bride got a sizzling chicken and spinach, another hit! And princess got parm chicken w Mac and cheese made w ziti. To my surprise I like it. The service was good but not rushed. The broccoli soup was good as always. I was able to have dinner and didn’t feel rushed and I was treated with respectful.

We were there last night before the Sabres game. We had a wonderful server named Joe. He was friendly, attentive and very accommodating. My son didn’t like his Chicken sandwich, he apologized and removed it from the bill. We ordered the endless apps, he was there when we were ready to order refills and was on top of keeping our table clean. Great server.

Bartender didn’t offer any water with meal. Just kept asking if I wanted beer or other drink and walked away when I said no.

This location is by far the worst location out of all the Friday’s locations in the region. For one, they’re not usually holding the specials as advertised on television. That sucks! Also, the food quality here is not the best. You order sizzling chicken and its not ‘sizzling.’ I try not to go here unless invited for work events.

Party of five, girls night out. Worst experience ever! The waiter, Joseph srever#696, spills a drink on my friends back. Was not going to offer to do anything for her bill, until I mentioned it. He then offered to pay for her drink. That settled us down for us to order our food. I ordered sesame jack chicken strips with fries and house salad. I had my salad. When the rest of my food came he informed me that he just brought me the chicken strips, because he decided that the fries were to expensive to add to the order. Just let me say,“why is it his decision to decide for me? «Next the bills came, and instead of taking care of my friends’drink, he gave her a free volcher for a dessert or appetizer on a return trip. REALLY? When I questioned why the manager couldn’t take it off the bill or take care of her bill all together, he then decided he could do a work around and pay for her drink. WTF. TOTALLYUNACCEPTABLE !

Love it here! I’ve been here many times in the past, and it’s always been really good. I am not a «chain hater» so ymmv. Anyway today I had the pick 3 for a appetizer. I chose buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks and pretzels with beer cheese sauce. It was all delicious! The wings were hot and crispy and the sauce was addicting. The mozzarella sticks were ooey gooey and crispy with a lot of flavor. I wasn’t crazy about the beer cheese sauce that accompanied the soft pretzel sticks(which were fab on their own!) because it had bacon on top, and I am not a huge fan of bacon flavor(I know, right!?)…I thought the sauce overpowered the pretzel flavor but to each their own… Next I had a chicken Caesar salad– which is near the top of my favorite salads list. Unfortunately this time it wasn’t up to par. Very little cheese, slightly bitter lettuce and the chicken was over cooked and on the dry side. That’s okay because I still enjoyed everything else. Our server(I don’t remember his name) was very efficient and friendly. It was $ 55.00 for two people for apps and entrees so it’s not super cheap. That all being said, I cannot wait to come back.

This way the worst place I’ve ever been! It’s connected to the hotel & I only had an hour so I decided to eat here. When I walked in the guy says can I help you? Ummm yes I’d like to eat. Oh ok. Yep he was suprised! Then I waited about 5 mins for the young girl to come to my table. She took my order, dropped it off and never came back until u was finished. I had to get up and get my own ice tea. I order a burger and fries. It was just like warm. If the place was packed I could understand, but I was the only one in the whole freaking place! I’ll never return. If I’m in buffalo again and this is my only option I’ll starve.

Not easy to find the parking spot down there! And I was standing there for 20 – 25 minutes to get a table! Foods were ok! Services were ok too!

I am not huge fan of TGI Friday’s, however they are connected to the Comfort Suites so it becomes convenient. The 2 for 1 drinks are a good deal especially knowing you are staying at the hotel and not going to be driving. The food is acceptable at best, there are better chain restaurants out there. However Our waitress Tumika is what makes our time spent there great. She is super Friendly, bubbly and does great at her job. I would return for the 2 for 1 drinks but wouldn’t be my first pick while in buffalo.

Was there recently and was very disappointed. The place was a mess! Bathroom is disorder the floor had food and napkins on it. The place looked like a storm had blown through. The entire experience was disappointing but the worst part was when I wrote in to inform TGI Fridays of the experience I got back at «I will check on that» wow… they lost this customer and as someone who often goes over to Sabres games I will find somewhere else to go for my happy hours! When we have so many different restaurant options customer service is one of the most important ways to keep your guests coming back they have definitely failed on that front.

I frequent this TGIFriday’s more than I’d like to admit… I definitely have chain restaurant guilt. There are so many good restaurants and bars in downtown Buffalo, so why would this be our go-to location before Sabres games? First, after 5pm, there is ample free street parking around the area, so after dinner we take the train down to the arena(and then back after the game). Very convenient, especially now that the trains are back to full-service. Second, there is rarely ever a wait for a table, even when they are busy before the game. Third, this location offers 2-for-1 drinks ALLTHETIME. House wines, margaritas, Long Island Iced Teas, and I believe there are beer specials as well. Makes for a very economical evening if you are trying to avoid the $ 8 midget beers in the arena. Note that not all TGIFriday’s offer this special. Fourth, the service is always good. We’ve really never had a bad server, and oftentimes they are really good! The manager can always be seen walking around, asking how your meal is, and if there’s anything he can do to make it better. Fifth, the food is pretty damn good for a chain, and there’s a large selection of things for everyone. Like someone else said, stick to your«bar-type» food like appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, etc, and you will not be disappointed. OK there it is, I finally admitted it and came out of my TGIFriday’s closet. I’m ready to profess my love publicly.

Sweet. The Friday’s iS connected to my hotel, comfort suites. So very convenient. However, the wine selection SUCKS. Talk about having all the cheapest wines on the menu. Sigh. My waiter was a sweetheart. 2 for 1 on the house wine during happy hour.

For those who usually frequent chain restaurants I imagine you would find this place to be good. But for those of us that know good food will certainly not. Most everything is sub par with the exception of thier burgers which are average. Yes it is cheaper than most places downtown but one gets what one pays for! It is passable for a beer or two… but why not head up Chippewa a couple blocks and fare far better with far fairer fare from a local business? So much to choose from… expand your horizons a wee bit. can’t you?

No… I haven’t been back(yet!), but this super star rating is for what I consider AMAZING customer service. Upon reading my review the National(?) Customer Service Manager responded to it with an apology and an explanation. He stated he would«reach out to me personally». Well, after two weeks, he hadn’t… and(of course) I had to comment on that. Well, upon reading my comment he private-messaged me… gave an apology and explanation… and offered to send me gift cards for free appetizers or desserts on my next visit to make it up to me for the issue I had at my previous visit. They arrived(from California!) five days later. Mistakes and miscommunications can happen at any time. Great customer service is(unfortunately) a rarity these days. «Friday’s» I applaud you!

This place. Heh. This place. I’m not much of a fan of chains, but I’ve done quite a bit of traveling, spent far too long at too many airports, acquainted myself with enough airports to know that T.G.I. Friday’s is a safe bet. The food ain’t much to sniff at. It’s replacement level. It’s the measuring stick to which I compare any other similarly priced chain or local joint. Food-wise, drinks-wise, this place measures up. It hits that three-star mark pretty squarely. Ever been to a T.G.I. Friday’s? Then you know exactly what to expect. There is exactly one distinctive thing about this T.G.I. Friday’s that does actually raise it up a notch, that being the physical space it occupies. On the ground level of a fair-sized hotel that I suspect used to be something else, the interior doesn’t resemble that of any of its normally suburban peers. Sure, it has tables and a few booths, but the key feature is a four-sided bar in the center of the space on each side of which large TVs have been carefully positioned to provide bar patrons comfortable access to whatever’s showing(usually sports of some sort). The sheer configuration here numbers it among the top five venues to presently watch sports of any type. That the leather stools are both wide and plushy dramatically increases the comfort. If I want to spend a Sunday afternoon watching football all day, this is a pretty fair spot to do so. Thanks to the amount of time they’ve inhabited their space, the operators have grown accustomed to the staffing demands of given times, but it is possible to catch them betting on the«under» of patron demand. Although normally about as efficient as T.G.I. Friday’s staffs are anywhere(not really a compliment), any increase can stress them and turn the whole place into a clusterfuck. On the other hand, they can be quite solicitous off peak, and it does seem that they recognize regulars. 3 stars for food 3 stars for drinks 3 stars for food 5 stars for layout 3.5 stars overall(rounding up)

Mostly visit this Fridays for happy hour and lunch with coworkers. The bartenders and servers are very friendly at this establishment. The 2 for 1 mixed drink happy hour special and reduced priced appetizers on Fridays is a nice deal, which is great if you’re hungry and thirsty after a long work week. The pot stickers and mojito or Long Island ice tea is what I usually go with. If you’re more in the mood for beer, the Canadian/domestics large 18 oz for $ 5 is a pretty good option you can order anytime. Food for lunch is just Ok. I really only come here if a friend wants to go, and it’s convenient since it’s close to work. If you’re in a rush and need a quick lunch, I suggest the $ 6 endless soup, salad, and breadsticks. Also if you let your server know, they can accommodate.

Just had a wonderful, cheap, fast lunch with an incredible waitress. Erica was our waitress and I think everyone in customer service should be more like her! I was truly impressed! She would go above and beyond her job! While me and my coworkers were deciding what to order, she brought out chips and salsa. We come here maybe every other week, but have never had these. And they were warm and delicious! She was very nice when taking our order, she voiced her opinion when my coworker wasn’t sure what to get. He ordered what she suggested and he was very happy with the meal! I ordered the«2 for $ 6.99» and had no idea it came with french fries. Erica brought out a basket of fresh ones for the whole table. I have ordered this before and haven’t gotten the fries with it. Again, I was impressed. The salad and corned beef sandwich(on a delicious pretzel roll!) was delicious as well. We are that annoying party that forget to ask for separate checks until the last min, but Erica was so easy going and split all the cards we had. From now on when I go, I will ask for Erica! It was a great experience!

2 for 1 drinks… are you kidding me??? I stopped in for a bit because I was staying at the attached hotel. I ordered the hummus, a burger and a cocktail. The server then brings over two cocktails. I look at her and she says that drinks are 2 for 1. Holy Crap! If I didn’t have to get up early the next morning, I would have spent more time there. The food was good and the price was fair. The server was nice and for a chain restaurant, it was a good time.
