Went to this place once and I will never go back. 37 Main attracts many low life drunks from around the county and entertains them with cheesy cover bands that can’t write their own music. What a joke, I hope the politicians of John Creeks closes this place down for noise violations. We have a good city here at John’s Creek, we don’t need to bring in the trash from ITP.

This place rocks! I’ve never had such high quality«bar food». The atmosphere, the entertainment, the staff is top notch. The owners really take pride in this place and keep it clean and fresh feeling. There are only a few downsides. They don’t open until 7 so you can’t meet for an after work drink or app. At 7 the bands sound check and its ungodly loud and kind of annoying while you are trying to catch dinner. But aside from that. This place is top notch.

Great — adult night, girls night out, foodie find. Not — kids, quiet dinning. Who’d think it, this bar has some exquisite bar food. This isn’t the bar food you default to when you are far to inebriated to know how bad it is. No, this is eat while your sober kind of food — so you can enjoy it. The wings are large chunks of white meat, lightly battered and fried. Although I had debated with myself on whether they are fried or baked. They just don’t have that fried oily finger after effect. The drinks are creative and they are generous with their liquor portions. It’s a drink you don’t feel bad paying for. The staff is friendly and absolutely not bad on the eyes(men/women). The Manager is welcoming, not your typical make em’ wait outside to create an illusion mentality. I heard a rumor that on any given night you will find an owner at the front door or roaming inside. I think that says a lot about how important customers are to them. Finally the music — it’s very diverse. They offer something for everyone, live music, two or three DJs. Bottom line: if you want to let loose and have a one stop place this is it. Cheers!

Honestly, I have a blast when I come here. Its a diverse crowd of people, music and fun time. The only reason why I’m giving this place a 3⁄5 star is, because of a bouncer that had to stick to his ‘dbag rule of im mr. Tough and be the boss of who hets 2 talk to the band’. I know theres standards 2 ur job. But u judge quick. I’m new to this area. I always have a great time. Im not a bilergent 20 year old that spills drinks on everybody. However, there is a very kind black bouncer that I forgot his name. He was chill, cool & treats you like a person. For that, I thank you for welcoming me to the south =). Prices for drinks are probably considered average here vs Iowa but its not bad downstairs is where all the EDM, rap, hiphop music tends to play. You can always find a live band playing thiugh

No coffee and the dude at the door wouldn’t look past his muscle shirt to allow me to bring in a cup of coffee from the place next door. I think the cover charge control power is going to his head. What full service ace doesn’t serve coffee?!

I’ve been a few times for the Sunday dueling pianos. Lots of fun. The drinks and food there are way better than I expected. The atmosphere was great. Waitresses and bartenders are very friendly too.

Been here a few times. It is best to reserve a table that way you have somewhere to sit and enjoy the live music. The service has been great and the live shows amazing. My only negatives are that you have to be at your reserve3d table no later than 8:30pm. That means you are sitting there eating and drinking for well over 2 hours before a live band comesw on. Also, the portions of their food are small for the price you pay. For these two reasons I am giving it 4 stars.

We reserved a table for two for one of the nights they had live music. The food was better than your average bar food — we loved the bang bang shrimp! Our waitress was great and we had a great night out. We will definitely be returning — and bringing friends!

I am a big fan of the dueling pianos on Thursdays and Sundays. Service is good for the shows. I’ve been there many times and only been disappointed once with very delayed food, not so hot service, and never got a table for the show. Most of the time, we have great fun at 37 Main, and I will go back again and again.

When on Saturday night 8:00 ish with some neighbors and met friend there. Friends went early around 7 to get a table for all of us(about 10 people) to no avail. If you want a table and there is a popular band playing may want to go at 6:00 eat there then hang. There was a Michael Jackson tribute band and Journey Tribute band playing so the place got pretty crowded quickly. They charge a $ 10 cover, not bad because the bands were amazing. I have to say the Michael Jackson band was spot on looks and sound, lots of dancing and singing along from the crowd. We had a blast and the bar staff was really friendly, and I tipped generously because I walked up to the bar and bam my drinks were being made already after 2 rounds didn’t even have to tell them what we wanted.

Only been here a couple times, both nights for dueling pianos. Each time I’ve been I’ve had an awesome time and overall great experience. The food is okay, just regular bar food. The service is great, the bartender we had this past weekend was especially awesome. It’s a rock bar but the bartender managed to keep up a great hospitable feeling while still maintaining the rock bar image. The only one who didn’t seem to be happy was possibly a floor manager. He just seemed a little annoyed anytime I asked him anything. As for the dueling pianos show, it’s absolutely awesome! The guys always make it a fun time for everyone. Make sure you call ahead and make a reservation though, walk-ins usually get stuck in the side room where you can hear them, but don’t really get the full experience of the show.

This club knows how to do it right! Great atmosphere for music and socializing. Service at the bar is very good, even when it’s stacked two deep. The food is decent enough, but it’s the music that keeps bringing me back. Overall, one of the best run clubs of any kind. And it’s in the small town of Buford, GA. Go figure… Update ½/14: A Johns Creek location is supposed to be opening soon. Update: 5÷19÷14 — The Johns creek location is open and it looks spectacular! I was in a hurry, so I didn’t spend much time there, but it looks so right and should be the place to go in no time.

I’ve been to this place three times for shows and I can honestly say that I’ll never go back to this retarded establishment. First off, ANY credible artist who plays at this place probably will walk away feeling completely cheepened. It’s almost like it’s making fun of the 80’s hard rock culture with it’s over the top image and ridiculous décor. Based on what I saw, you have to have at least a «C» cup and weigh under 100lbs to be a bartender/waitress. The sound in the room is absolutely terrible which just proves to me that the quality of sound is the LAST priority for this place. The people watching is pretty amazing though. Lots of hasbeen/neverwasbeens of the Atlanta rock scene still make their way around the place high fiving people like they’re someone which in itself is entertaining. If you ever wanted to know what ever happened to that one guy who played in that one band, he’s at 37 Main and he’s about 100 lbs heavier, balding, and sitting at the bar in his relaxed fit jeans and 1986 Slippery When Wet tour shirt while his daughter works the bar.

Holy redneck batman! Where do I begin??? We randomly learned online that«the world’s greatest«U2 tribute band would be playing there, and being huge U2 fans our interest was piqued. After doing some research and watching some youtube vids on this band we were blown away and decided to make the pilgrimage to Buford of all places to see this band. Sure enough, this band(LAvation) absolutely killed it. They sounded amazing, ‘Bono’ had every move down, the ‘Edge’ was awesome. The setlist kicked ass, all the hits old and new. We truly enjoyed the show. Now the REDtape we had to endure to enjoy said band.(Pun intended). Rednecks, rednecks, rednecks. Tall, short, old, young, male, female, affliction shirts, confederate flag shirts, Eminem wannbe’s, flat brimmed ball caps, mullets, mustaches, hooting, hollering, fighting, booing ‘Bono’ when he simply asked for a ‘Like’ on their facebook page. Puffy hair, spangled jeans, trashy makeup, super high heels(ok, those were kinda nice). I“m sure we stuck out like sore thumbs. We hightailed it out of there right after the encore and headed back down toward civilization. Did the reviewer before me really just refer to this place as «classy and professional»??? I will say this though, the bar itself is very nice. Very clean, lots of flatscreens, nice beer selection, cute bartenders w/nice cleavage– You know what? What the hell am I saying??? I take it all back!!! I loved this place! The high heels and the cleavage alone are worth the trip! Cut me a line of crank and pop me a Natty Lite Ice boyz I’ll see ya’ll this Friday night! Du nu nu nu Nuh nu nu nu NUHNUH nu nuh!!!(That’s my Dixie horn on my pick up truck if ya’ll couldn’t figure that out!) YEEEE-MF’ing-HAAAAAAAAA!!! 10 stars!!!

If you’re looking for 80’s rewind big hair cover bands, this is the place to go! Great music venue. Stage has very good sight lines, good sound system and plenty of room on the dance floor. Combined with good bar service and reasonable prices 37 Main is a good time all the way around.

Really nice venue/bar/café! It’s cleaner then most places like this and the staff is pretty friendly and service oriented. I did get hit with a $ 10 cover; but hey — they had a Michael Jackson cover band on tap… so what could I do. I only drank beer — which was pretty inexpensive; this may be the hippest place in downtown Buford. Rock on…

This place is only getting 2 stars because I did have a good time with my friends here. I live in Atlanta so had never been before and will not again. If you live in the area I’m sure the night life selection is low, I guess that’s how they get away with charging a 10 buck cover! If you choose to go please take cash and do not open a tab, I was drinking miller light all night, I payed for the first two with cash and then opened a tab with the downstairs bartender. She was either very devious or delirious because my tab was $ 180 bucks… I know Miller Light does not get that expensive. She charged 15 Vegas Bombs(whatever that is??) on my tab. And swore that I ordered them. After a couple of hours dealing with the manager they removed the shots. The manager was a nice guy and seamed like he wanted to help, but I still got stuck with 8 beers and it should have only been 4. I hope whoever the bartender’s friends that I’m assuming she was giving those shots to all night on my tab ran their car off the road on their way home. I at first thought it was an innocent mistake but after seeing that someone else has had a very similar experience, I’m pretty sure it was intentional.

I don’t live in Buford but I went here once for a Bud Light Port Paradise event and had mixed feelings. Rock theme of the place is really cool. You don’t see many places like this out in areas like Buford and it’s nice to see someone execute that kind of brand out there and make it work. Pretty extensive food menu with lots of cool options. I had the BBQ nachos. The menu said they had pulled pork on them, but I definitely had chicken on mine. I wouldn’t recommend them. One of the bartenders at the main bar has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. She’s extremely attractive and it’s clearly gone to her head. Very rude and condescending attitude. On top of that, she was popping customers with a towel, almost in the face. Not really sure how anyone can consider this an okay thing to do. The other bartender was AWESOME. They ran out of their big mugs and she saved one for me when they got clean ones and signaled me so that I could order one before someone else snagged it. Great service all night long. I don’t remember her name but she was the only black girl working behind the main bar. I definitely recommend going to her if you can. Warning to smokers: This bar is not your friend. No smoking indoors and no enclosed area where you can smoke and drink at the same time. You have to put your drink down and go out to the street in front of the bar to have a smoke.

The atmosphere is «home». Eastside Athens bars… man, I miss it. The beer selection leaves much to be desired. The cover band was pretty freakin awesome though. My former roommate and I do some amateur dancing, he is actually more professional than me, so we were able to kick it with them. They played hit songs and didn’t sound half bad. People watching is prime. I will definitely go back.
