Checkers

We didn’t eat here. Everything is .50 to $ 1 more on the entire menu! then the location south 3.6 miles away from the interstate. If the prices don’t get in line this location will close. No one was eating here. There were 2 angry looking managers on the front line (think someone that had just thrown warm piss in a cops face) look. I may have ordered the new steak burger it was on the menu at this location. Changed or close. All other areas in the mall were busy.

What a rude manager in the mall of Georgia checkers, bought a large frys and while he took my card I saw a sign for $ 6 combo with shrimp. So I requested him to charge me for the difference or return the frys which were still not out yet and give me this combo deal.
He said he was the manager, but had no rights to do refund or neither he could give me the money back.
I can’t believe this type of customer service in a food court where you have 10 places to go and eat.
They need to train their managers better then this or don’t make them manager of they don’t have any rights to give refunds.
After few min another manager or owner came and he talked to him, then he got all the rights in a second, he gave me my money back and didn’t even have curtsy to say sorry.
Will not go back.

It was just ok. Drinks had funny taste no carbonation. Burger and fries were warm and the meat was soggy like they soak them I’m hot water to stay warm. Apple pie was room temp.

Great burgers and very addicting fries. Love stopping in to grab me a nice lunch from here.

Worst customer service ever. They actually lie about their tap water being broken. I have visited this location 4 times in the past year and they consistently have the same story.

Excellent fries & delicious burgers here! Their order & pick up counter is a little confusing though.

I was shopping at the Mall of Georgia on a Friday afternoon when I decided to grab a quick lunch from the food court. Although I was really gravitating towards my go-​to fast and cheap meal from Taco Bell, I was walking by Checkers when an employee handed me a coupon for a free Spicy Chicken Sandwich with the purchase of an order of Large Fries. I thanked the guy and started walking towards Taco Bell when I thought hey, why not give Checkers a try?
Checkers just doesn’t look like an appealing fast food chain to me, so I never bothered to eat there. However, since an order of large fries costs $ 2.59 at Checkers, I thought that was a pretty good deal for a meal (no drink, though). So I ordered the large fries and got my free Spicy Chicken Sandwich with it. I also got some BBQ sauce for my fries.
* Large Fries ($ 2.59) — Checkers’ fries are seasoned, and they’re nothing like McDonald’s or Burger King fries. They’re not the best fries ever, but they’re decent fries that were served hot. The BBQ sauce was yummy and definitely helped.
* Spicy Chicken Sandwich ($ 2.59) — Since this was technically «free» with the purchase of fries, I really didn’t expect much in terms of quality or taste. The sandwich itself is probably a little larger than McDonald’s $ 1 McChicken Sandwich, and it tasted slightly better, but not by much. In addition, it was barely even spicy, so I was a bit disappointed in that. I thought that the sandwich tasted «OK,» but it wasn’t much better than Mickey D’s McChicken, which I don’t really like.
Overall, Checkers in the Mall of Georgia food court gets 3 stars for their decent and quick fast food. However, the burger chain, which took the spot in the food court where McDonald’s used to be, must really be hurting because they are always passing out coupons. I still have one coupon from Checkers I have yet to use: «Free Small Shake with any purchase over $ 2.» I may end up using the coupon just because I’m curious about what their shake tastes like, but I probably wouldn’t return otherwise.
