The guacamole was excellent! Cantaritos(Mexican alcoholic drink) are very good and very cheap($ 4.99). I ordered enchiladas de mole and I loved them. But most of all, I definitely enjoyed the live music!

This is the third incarnation of a Mexican Restaurant in this location. The first two were good, this one is terrible. Salsa with the chips is bland. Steak was dry and tough. Beans were bland. Friend ordered a fried fish taco and was served whole fried fish instead. Just entire meal was not enjoyable at all. Too many good restaurants in the area, go elsewhere instead.

Great lunch! Comfortable atmosphere, very friendly staff and good service. Had the four kiddos with me and they all loved the nachos and bean burritos.

It took longer to order than it took the pre-made microwaved food to arrive. And boy oh boy did it taste like pre-made microwaved food. Think of frozen Mexican food from the grocery and that is what is served here. The chips were warm but over cooked and tasted such. The salsa was tasty and had a little punch. The two staff here were exceptionally friendly although neither speaks functional English. Because of their smiles and efforts I give a two star rating instead of one because the food here sucks! I will never return even if it was for free.

Creative & well made dishes. They have several salsas, unique & tasty. My favorite is the verde, which is quite spicy, unlike most verdes. Margaritas are good, a little heavy on the cointreau, but at least handmade. Definitely the best I’ve found in Buford so far.

This is a new Mexican restaurant where another pretty good one used to be. Very happy we came in here tonight. The salsa was very tasty, although a bit spicier than I prefer all the time. Guacamole was fresh, but had a kick! I was starting to see a theme, and was hoping that even though I’m a baby, my food wouldn’t be too spicy for me to enjoy. I ordered the four tacos: carne asada, lengua, and since they were out of carnitas(I was so sad at first) I got two al pastor. The lengua was tender and flavorful. But the al pastor, what a wonderful treat — although al pastor wasn’t listed on the menu as a choice, it was awesome! I love street tacos dressed only with onions and cilantro. These were delicious! BF had the enchiladas mole and ate in no time. I tried a taste of the mole and it was smoky and rich. Rice and beans were decent. Overall, I can’t wait to come back for tacos again!

Is it bad that the Mariachi band was the only thing to write home about? We were enthused about visiting Los Atlantes because it’s across the street from Praise The Lard, and Los Atlantes is in a strip mall with a bunch of other Latino businesses, so one would assume that it should’ve been authentic. Nope, I was wrong. First and foremost, the atmosphere is very plain with a smattering of Mexican pictures on the wall, and man is this place small??? I am usually down with little restaurants, as they are usually more personal, but this venue is a let-down. The salsa was just OK, with a lot of water/liquid. Flavor is subjective, but texture is not. The queso was pepper-less for some reason, and also bland. The fish tacos were flavorless, and with lettuce??? Who puts lettuce on fish tacos? The ladyfriend had the carnitas and carne asada tacos, which were also tough and flavorless. I think you are starting to see a trend here. We are spoiled with Taqueria Los Hermanos locally, so anything else has to be «on their game» comparatively. Now, that being said… The Mariachis were amazing, but this is a restaurant, and not Los Discoteca. Hopefully the band has other restaurants to play at locally because they are very entertaining. I hate giving bad reviews, but do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
