Subway

Let me start by saying I am not picky what so ever. I am very laid back and easy to please, however,
Please avoid this subway. Their food quality is just bad. I ordered my wife a sandwich and she usually likes tomatoes, however after seeing the rotten tomatoes behind the counter I passed on those. I couldn’t order us drinks because the drink machine was out of order, that’s fine, just a little annoying. When I got home with the salad I ordered, the lettuce was yellow and mushy. All rotten lettuce. I couldn’t eat it, I threw it away.
I’ve been here before and the staff is not usually too friendly. Once I was ordering a sandwich and 2 of the employees were having an all out argument behind the counter. It was a little awkward. Just beware of this place. There’s better places to eat near by.

Rude service!!! When my original order was placed, I thought the employee was rude, but I shrugged it off, commenting to my husband about «Mr. Sunshine» behind the counter. I went back to get a cookie for my son, and the employee, Belal, ignored me. When I asked could we please get a cookie, he replied in a snide tone «Can I finish what I am doing?» It should be noted that he was not doing anything at the time, just adjusting the lids on the vegetable toppings. I did not order the cookie, and as I was leaving another customer who witnessed the event commented to me «I guess you’ll be leaving a Unilocal review.» Why, yes, friendly fellow customer, I am!

Sunday lunch and they were not prepared. No wheat bread, everything was low. Hardly put any toppings on sandwiches. Pub subs would of been a better choice and will be next time.

This is owned by Rita Patel. Employees stated that they do not have any regard for the military and that military or veteran discounts are not going to be given. The reason they gave is that they have nothing to do with the military, «this is a private business and the military has done nothing for us so why we give discount to them.» I was shocked when i heard this from one of their employees. She said «Ms Rita Patel is owner she said to us no discount to military.»

Typical subway, all bread and short changed on meat. I got «double» meat and all you could see is bread. Subway needs to stop advertising and paying celebs so much and focus on making a decent product. Firehouse and Larry’s put subway to shame. It’s worth a dollar more to get a quality product.

The lady making my sandwich was very nice and helpful. Kinda disappointed that they were out of coffee and egg whites at 1030am.
But. They have ketchup at this location and light lemonade. Bonus points.

Wish I could review with negative stars. Got into a verbal altercation with one of the employees because I did not like the way they cut my bread. (they did not use the Subway Hinge Cut) The employee actually threatened to «take me out». Unbelievable.

I like Subway but don’t usually eat sandwiches but the other night after 8pm I was in the mood for Jersey Mike’s unfortunately they were closed so I stopped at Subway. This location is not only close to my house but clean and the guy behind the counter was so nice. The ingredients on my sandwich were really fresh and the bread was freshly baked. I get a six inch on white with turkey, white american cheese, lettuce, oil, vinegar, and oregano. Yum! Definitely try this location out if you’re in the area it’s less crowded than the one inside the Walmart on Hamilton Mill.

I go to the one up the street at Walmart but the best one is over by the Publix. When I saw how they were making my sandwich I left.

I was so excited to see that a Subway recently opened near our house — about a mile away! However, I wasn’t so excited when I saw how stingy they were about their sandwich ingredients…
My favorite Subway sandwich is the Chicken Bacon Ranch on honey oat bread. I always get this with SHREDDED cheese ‘cuz it’s pretty amazing when it’s slightly toasted. The guy making my sandwich (I think he’s actually the franchise owner!) sprinkled a tiny amount of shredded cheese on the chicken, so when I asked for a little bit more, I was pissed when he said «We charge 50 cents for that.» He is so freakin’ cheap! I was annoyed and just told him it was okay. This is the first time this has ever happened to me at a Subway, and it was lame. The other employees are also unfriendly… =P
But… this location has a frequent buyer card, which I always LOVE! You get one stamp for every 6″ sub (so 2 stamps for a footlong), and once you collect 8 stamps, you get a free 6″ sub with the purchase of a medium drink. Yay! I need one more stamp for my «free» sandwich.
3 stars for this Subway — Overall, the restaurant itself is clean and the ingredients are fresh. And since it is SO close to my house, I will be frequenting this location often. Just wish they could be less stingy…
