Friendly service BBQ is flavorful the baked beans are superior and the coleslaw taste like my mom made it.

First time in today and it was just OK. The pulled pork sandwich was more like minced meat or so finely chopped you did not have to do much chewing. The sweet sauce was good. The Brunswick stew was excellent with potato, corn and meat. I did not see any beans. The potato salad was very good but had a spice in it I could not place. The cole slaw tasted like the kind we got from the deli dept. at the supermarket when I was a kid and was made in a factory somewhere. This may not be made in a factory but they have the taste down pat as if it did. Maybe it was. I did not ask and if I go back I will not order it again. The menu board is made for people 6 feet or taller. While in line I could only see the top ¾ of the sign and had to go up to the counter and look over the glass partition in order to see the whole menu. The BBQ pit is outside under an enclosed carport. While I was there I observed a chef going outside through the front door to tend to cooking meat at least 4 times. It seems that a side door should have been added when they enlarged this place from when it was a hotdog stand. I will go back and give other items a try.

Delicious pulled pork. We love it. Run by retired cops and honest, friendly people. This is such a great addition to the area. We’ve eaten here once a week since they’ve opened. The Mac and cheese makes or breaks a BBQ place in my opinion and theirs is excellent. Also… Pulled pork nachos! Heck yeah!

This small BBQ place is run by two retired policemen and their wives. They have been involved in catering and contests but just opened the restaurant a few days ago. The pork BBQ was very good. The Brunswick stew was outstanding. Mac and cheese was above average. Beans were just average. They also have a variety of hot dogs, but we did not try them yet. This is a very welcome addition to the BBQ scene for the Buford area.
