I sent a package to a customer that uses this Post Office. After the package got scanned as «out for delivery», it never got scanned as «delivered», by the end of the day. In the past, this has happened to me many times by other Post Office’s; The package will get delivered, but never scanned showing delivery. I call the Post Office the very next morning, and get an employee to hand the phone to the mail carrier of that address route. The mail carrier then tells me that he did deliver my package to that address. I then ask him politely to enter the tracking number in manually, so it will show as scanned. In the past, with other Post Office’s, if I was lucky to get the mail carrier on the phone, they would correct their mistake, by manually entering the tracking number to show delivered. For this situation, the mail carrier instantly hands the phone to a supervisor named«Eleanor S.» This was the name she had given me. I explained the situation, she then tells me the mail carrier will take care of it. Right after getting off the phone, I wait awhile, and realize I better call back, as I did not trust this was going to get resolved like she had said. Now, she tells me, it is not going to happen. My instincts were right the first time, she never had any intention of helping me, by correcting their mistake. The laziness in this lady’s voice was very apparent from the start. It was not her package that wasn’t scanned, so she could care less.
