We were around the area for the weekend and being that this is the only Thai restaurant that we could find, we didn’t hesitate to get some food to go. My boys, who are still young in age — oldest being 10 — do not eat spicy food. My husband told them to make it VERYMILD. We were so excited to eat when we got back to our hotel and crap! VERYMILD was SPICY! My boys didn’t end up eating anything and even for me it was too spicy. I like mine with a little kick, but wow! So 3 stars because of that.

I was excited about trying this restaurant, because as far as I can tell, there are no authentic Asian food restaurants in the area and this place had many positive reviews. Unfortunately my experience was disappointing. It’s not that the food was bad, the problem was that there was a mix-up when our dishes were served to us, so that I didn’t get what I wanted/ordered. We only found out about the mix-up at the end of our meal, when the guy who had taken our order mentioned that the dish my husband had eaten was his favorite. I mentioned that my dish didn’t taste very gingery for a dish that is described as ginger based — in fact, I had eaten only about 1⁄3 of mine because I was not thrilled with it. That’s when he said that my husband had the ginger dish and that the woman who brought us our food must’ve made a mistake. Note: My husband is not very familiar with Thai food and since we had both chosen chicken as the protein add-in, he didn’t realize the dishes had been switched so he just ate the dish that was served to him. Also, his dish was brought out while I was washing my hands and I had told him to get started without me if the food comes while I was gone. When I returned to the table, the woman brought out my dish. It didn’t occur to me that there had been a mix-up. So, that’s why my experience was disappointing. I’m further disappointed that there was no offer from them to replace my order since it was their mistake. Not sure if we’ll return to this place, mainly because of the way they handled/mishandled this situation. I’ll give one star just because the waiter who took the order & told us of the mix-up was very pleasant, but wish that he would’ve taken the problem to the owner.

Pumpkin curry(medium), Tom kha(mild) with steamed tofu. Really very good. The medium is, to me, more like a 3 on spice so it is safe to order if you like a little heat. Very large portions, clean restaurant and restrooms and excellent prompt service.

The majority of my gripes fall on the waiter. I always feel bad not leaving a tip, especially since I used to deliver pizzas long ago, but here is what I feel warranted that: –My dining partner received a straw for his diet soda, but I didn’t get one off the bat. It took about 20 mins for the waiter to re surface close enough for me to request one. –Although we requested spicy level zero on our Pad Thai & Fried Rice, we should have been advised that zero was not an option as we were ordering. –When we first advised the waiter that there was spice in our dish, he told us that that was the mildest it is available. Ok, fine(should have told us beforehand, but whatever). He then offered to bring us glasses of ice water. We agreed that would help, but the ice water never came. –We were not offered any drink refills when our cups of soda & iced tea sat empty, which prompted me to ask if refills were free. –Because of my friend’s «burning tongue» situation, we were considering the coconut ice cream pictured on the table(and mentioned in other reviews). Dessert was never offered. –We were still eating when the check came, so we continued eating, as we have done anywhere else. About five minutes after not even peeking at the bill, the waiter said it was time for him to leave and count his drawer out, so we’d need to pay the bill. He stood there as we looked for our credit card to pay. Spice level was tolerable for me, although their version of 1/mildest/zero requested is closer to my version of 2. My poor friend took a big bite first, and his red face and immediate grasp of his icy drink said it all. This is a guy who can’t even use mild sauce at Taco Bell, so if you or anyone in your dining party is not a spicy fan… this may not be the place for you. I have also dined at House of Siam, and the zero spice level there is truly a zero spice level at that establishment. For me, this restaurant had tasty food, so I may give it a try again… just with other friends who eat spicy. Also, you may want to ask how long until your waiter leaves for the day. If you get caught at the end of someone’s shift, you’ll probably have to pay and then not have a waiter or option for dessert(or additional food for that matter) if you take more than one hour to dine.

Awesome Thai food! Living in California I’ve tried a few Thai restaurants and I have to say this place is on my top 3! They’ve remodeled the inside and the food is amazing. They rate spicy from 1 – 5. I went today and wanted to try something different. I ended up ordering Mango Paradise with chicken and a spicy level of 4. This dish as amazing and came with steamed rice. My friend ordered Yellow Pineapple Curry with chicken. I’m not a fan of curry but this dish was amazingly good! I’ll definitely be coming back with friends. A Bullhead gem!

The soup, just the chicken and onions here, yet was very tasty. Also ordered chicken panang whispch was so good, here they put green beans in Cali they put peas. Would I go back, of course. I would like for them to add cabbage to their soup and carrots and mushrooms. Thank you Vicky. Jerry H.

I love Spicy Food and this place is off the charts. I ordered spicy 5(1 – 5 are the levels) Family run business in a shopping mall next to Safeway, home cooking, good quality, quanity and reasonable price. Red Curry Fried Rice, never have I heard about with all my life eating thai food — must try it. It was delicious with lots of flavor and spice. A friend of mine, how can handle decent spicy took a few bites and was sweating like he just took a shower. We were a group of 6 and everyone enjoyed the food. Wish they could serve some cold beer with this great food.

I ordered the papaya salad(spicy level 4), pad see ew with beef and iced Thai tea to go. The Thai tea was good and pad see ew mediocre. The papaya salad was super spicy and delicious. HOWEVER, midway through my meal, I found a piece of hair in the salad and completely lost my appetite. I saw that the cooks did not wear hair nets or even a hat. Wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. Try a different Thai restaurant in this area.

Still great food! I reviewed this place more than a year back. I have been here many times since then. I am writing this update to state that they have kept up their great quality of food and service. The only difference is that now they are closed on Mondays. They are open the rest of the week including Sundays. A word of CAUTION: their spice rating goes from 0 to 5. 4 is really spicy hot and 5 is truly mind blowing. I love spicy and can handle some extremely spicy Indian and Thai food however 4 is too spicy even for me!

Came here to eat for the Independence Day weekend, it was a great choice. I came here with a group of 5, we were greeted immediately by a sweet little lady who told us we could sit where ever we would like. We sat down and ordered, the waitress was very nice and patient with us as well. The food took a little longer than usual but the quality was really great. Will be back again next year when we come back to Laughlin, it’s worth driving to a whole other state for ;)

Visiting from Las Vegas and decided to try something new rather than go to the same places knowing we would be disappointed. So glad we decided to try Chao Praya. For appetizers, we ordered the Thai dumplings and summer rolls and both were excellent. For dinner, we had yellow curry which was very flavorful, spicy basil leaf, mixed vegetables and the garlic dish. Our food arrived quickly and everything was hot and delicious. My parents really enjoyed it and are grateful they have another restaurant to add to the short list of places in the area that measure up. Our server, Vicky, was good but she was the only one for the restaurant when we were there. She was hustling and it did take a while for her to take our order and she apologized for the wait. I’m glad we waited and we’ll be back!

I ordered Pad Thai with fried tofu and Crab Rangoons. The total bill was just more than $ 17. The Crab Rangoon filling is good– creamy and balanced flavors, not one ingredient overpowering the others. The dough to filling ratio may be a little off with quite a bit of fried dough, especially in the way they are pinched closed. The Pad Thai is good. Not too spicy. The food came out quickly and the server was friendly and polite. The restaurant itself is a little run down and dingy, but my order was to go, so not a problem for me.

Horrible, i wish i can give them minus points. I give them 1 star even though i didnt visit them. I called them for their business hours and the lady who answered my phone had a very rude additude. I asked her 2 questions, ‘are you guys opened today?’ and ‘what are your business hours?’ and this lady who answered my phone call was sounded so annoyed and she was speaking like as if she was yelling at me. And even before i asked her the price range, she just said«our store open every single day and we open now!!!» and she hung up the phone. I know for sure that i dont want to go to this restaurant. They have bad customer service even through the most basic areas, i dont expect much more from them. It would be waste of money even if the food was good there. Horrible customer line service. Never go to this restaurant, you will just waste your money.

By Bullhead measures, this is four stars. By California or any bigger city standards, a three at best. First the people are ridiculously nice. I ordered take out and I’ve never seen food ready so fast. I got boring Pad thai and crab rangoons so it wasn’t as if I got exotic but still. Super fast and that deserves mention. The pad thai seemed a little too sticky. Like some of the noodles had all become one. However it was pretty tasty. I like my food spicy but based on another reviewer warning I went with 3 for spice. It was definitely warm. I would recommend that level for those who like spice. If you want your face to burst into flames feel free to go higher. The rangoons were my big disappointment. The reviews said«light and fluffy». Um. No. They were not light nor fluffy. I will post a picture so you can see them. If I had seen a pic I wouldn’t have ordered. Not that they’re bad but I like the kind that is truly light and fluffy. All together $ 19 and some jingle. Not cheap but not expensive either. I would try it again but it won’t be something I dream about or long for…

I wouldn’t normally write a review on vacation, but this place is more than deserving of a five star review. My husband was very intimidated by eating Thai in the desert, but he allowed me to persuade him after I saw other raving reviews of this place. Don’t be concerned by the fact that it’s in a strange little strip mall and may not have the most glamorous interior, because their food is simply incredible. We started with the crab Rangoon and Tom kah chicken soups. The rangoons were light and fluffy, and the sauce was nice and light as well. The soups were piping hot and just as amazing as the ones we get back home in Tampa FL. For dinner we got the Panang chicken and mussaman beef. We devoured everything! I would rate this one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve eaten at. If you are passing by and love Thai, you need to be eating here!

This place is amazing. The décor is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed lunch near an awesome inspirational room divider :) staff was super friendly to allow us to have a mini photo shoot. We enjoyed the spicy fried rice, basil chicken and veggies, and the pumpkin curry. Hands down try the pumpkin curry. We got it hot– the heat and the creamy pumpkin chunks were off the hook amazing. We are definitely going to remember this place when we are near!
