Thought I’d try this place and was thoroughly impressed. The chilaquiles were wonderful and the service with a smile. The place is very clean and sanitary. I’m going to guess that it’s s family establishment. I overheard a pretty good pep talk amongst the boss and employees about team work and the service she expected. She was very serious and they seem to get it. Left a nice tip and I’m definitely going back.

When you go in to a mom and pop place like this, you should expect to wait a little longer than usual. When you go in to a mom and pop place liked this on MEMORIALDAYWEEKEND, if you aren’t expecting to wait a long time, something is definitely wrong with you. With that being said, I’m all about supporting the little guys, and this big guy was way too tired and way too hung over to go to one of the buffets before doing it all over again prior to heading to the lake. So Lizzy’s Kitchen is little and the place was packed. What I liked about this place was that the servers/seater greeters were all smiles no matter what was thrown their way. You could tell that they were overwhelmed, but overwhelmed with a smile on their face wins me over every time, which is why I had some serious patience this past Saturday. Nothing pisses me off more than to see a busy place, but idle workers with idle hands just standing around doing nothing, or smoking and joking or playing with their phones. Lizzy’s employees did none of this, and were busting their asses fast and furiously! So, as far as the chow goes, my daughter and her friend split a BLT, and they said it was better than the one they usually get at the burger joint near their HS. My wife got the juevos divorciados,(two eggs your way, one in red sauce, the other green, sitting on a fried tortilla) and she enjoyed them. Both my son and I had the chilaquiles verdes. Mine were supposed to be spicy, but they tasted exactly like my son’s, which were the mild. So after talking to the young lady on the way out, I asked about the service, and she thanked us for our patience, and she informed us that they had just let go of a couple employees and one had went out on a medical emergency, so they were short handed. I hate to beat a dead horse, but to me, it made their service a little easier to palate. Overall, I MIGHT give them another shot. On a non holiday weekend, should I ever go back on a non holiday.

Great hole in the wall place for some delicious Mexican food. The menudo and pozole had great flavors. The green chilaquiles hit the spot. My party mention that the refried beans was really good. The service was on point and were very friendly. It was a great Valentine’s Day brunch and I will come back again when in town.

Quick courteous attentive service complements the good food. The huevos rancheros was quite tasty. However, the link sausage was skinless and somewhat dry. Will come back for lunch next time.

Happened upon Lizzy’s kitchen and decided to give it a try. Outstanding food for such a small dive. Great service and reasonably priced. I would definitely eat here again.

Been here a few times and just love their food. Today I ordered the biscuits and gravy with eggs and home fries. The eggs were cooked perfectly. And they have the best gravy in town. I am always greeted when I walk in and the service is always great.

My GF and I decided to eat here since there were 4stars. As soon as I walked in I felt that it was lacking AC. In 110degrees. No Bueno. I needed to use the restroom and it was even hotter in there. The staff were nice and the food was good but my GF and I both ended up with a case of the runs… We had the green chile chilaquilles w/rice and beans. Yummy but not for my tummy. We were running to get to a rest stop on the way home to Los Angeles. No Bueno. They need to update their furniture and fix there AC.

If you like choizo have the chorizo potato breakfast. Don’t be afraid of the gringo food in this little mex restaurant. They have really good french toast! And when you order eggs… they actually come out the way you ordered them.

Good basic Mexican food, authentic and simple– we come here whenever we’re in town. Wish they were open for dinner! We often come for breakfast so we have more experience with their breakfast menu than anything. Family run it seems, and generally friendly. Good service and good food, very reasonable prices! We’ll be back… again.

I’ve been to Lizzy’s about three times now, I think, and I’ve ordered the chorizo and potato burrito with added refried beans every time. I cannot get past it. I really wanted to wait and write a review after having tried more than one thing, but I’ve faced facts. I’m never going to try anything else. This burrito is so good I could probably eat it for breakfast every day. I do feel confident giving them five stars, though, because my husband and other family members have tried various things off of the menu and love it. He particularly likes the machaca. My grandma says their cheese quesadilla is the best she’s ever eaten, and she’s eaten a lot of quesadillas in her day. Maybe one day I’ll finally get the chilaquiles, as I have often lusted after them and then been unable to forgo the goodness which is the chorizo and potato burrito with added beans. One day.

This is a great family run restaurant with a friendly and welcoming staff. This is one of my mothers favorite places to eat breakfast in Bullhead City and when my brother and I visit her we treat her for breakfast here. Mom loves their menudo and I could not disagree with her because I love it to. This place cleans the tripe really good. If the tripe is cleaned properly there should be no funky tripe oder. Other food items I’ve had and enjoyed. — Breakfast Burrito with chorizo, cheese, potatoes & beans. This big burrito hit the spot and the chorizo was not greasy. This was the first time I had a chorizo burrito without egg mixed into it. — Machaca con Huevo — The meat was extremely tender. This plate came with rice and bean with tortillas.
