I went to Cabo Tan Lucas because the prices were good and it’s around the corner from my house. My 1st day there, I realized how DIRTY the carpets are in each tanning room. I overlooked that and my 2nd visit, I brought a towel to stand on. After that visit, I was shocked to see what the bed had done to my body! I have burn stripes that go all the way down my body that follow the lines of the bulbs in the beds! I seriously look like a candy cane. The right side of my body is burned more than the left side of my body. All of this tells me that the bulbs and the beds aren’t up to standards. With one side being more burned than the other, it means that the bulbs aren’t being changed at the same time(a cost saver to the owner) and in turn, it provides uneven coverage to the person trying to get a tan in the bed. I called the owner, Arman, twice and he has NOT returned my calls. He did tell the ladies that work for him to give me a partial refund. I went in today to get my refund, showed the girl my burns. She was surprised to see them. I told her that he has VERYPOORCUSTOMERSERVICESKILLSAS A BUSINESSOWNER! I’m thankful for the refund but am shocked that he didn’t give me the respect every customer deserves to at least return a phone call, apologize for the burns and to see if I was ok… that the burns were not serious. The girl in the store told me that he won’t be calling me. This tells me that ARMAN does NOT care about his customers, it’s all about money to him. If he would have called me, I would have not written this review. There are plenty of other tanning salons in Burbank… don’t waste your time and risk hurting your body in this one!

yes, the name is cool. but sweet Ra(um, that’s the sun god) I will not set foot into this joint. First let me say that it annoys me greatly when I read a review from someone who has not actually been in the place. But there is a reason for this!!! I have lived in this neighborhood for years. Every year I take a look at my pasty white skin and decide its time to risk it — and get a tan. I call around town to find the best deal… and you know, the price here is cheap. But you get what you pay for. I parked on the street and looked in. I instantly felt a little scared. this place hasnt had a make over since 1985 or something — It looks like a smelly conveinence store. The windows have this dingy yellow hue to them — and inside behind the counter… an overweight balding man in a hawaiian print shirt. The walls are covered in dirty old straw beach mats and there is a vending machine in the front«waiting area» where I’m sure its only customer is the man behind the counter. You wouldn’t have to wait for a bed here… the place was empty during normally busy rush hour. Sorry, I will not be getting naked here. Tanning is cheap there — like $ 29 /month. But I couldnt help but get itchy just looking at the joint. I’m taking my business to Media City Sun — cute, tan, friendly high school girls work there… I feel a bit… um…safer there…
