Typically only available for employees(and their guests), if you get the opportunity to view a screening here I recommend it! It’s pretty magical to spend an evening in the legendary Studio Lot.

This is such an awesome theater. Came here for Monster’s University for Disney family and friends screening in 3D! Completely different audience here since everyone here works for Disney in some kind of capacity. A lot of cheering throughout the movie! The screens are crisp and the chairs are comfy and they rock back and forth! Furthermore, I love how there are no trailers and the movie starts with the Disney Castle immediately. The only bummer is that they don’t allow food or drinks. :(. Furthermore, the restrooms are tiny so after the movie there can be a long line. However, asides from the Capitan theater, this is one of the best Disney movie experiences I’ve had. ALLHAILTHEMOUSE!

Iron Man 3 screening for Disney family and friends was a good reason to visit Burbank. Theater is large. Screen and sound system are top notch. Seats are pretty comfortable, and seem to be well kept. When they have a screening for a popular release, people come out in droves. Arrive early or you will have a side or really up front seat. No food or drink allowed. No non-sense atrium void of concessions. Reminded me of the multi-purpose rooms at High Schools. The theatre is around 100 yards from the parking structure. I can see how this could be an inconvenience on rainy or really cold nights. You need a Disney employee badge to get into the lot.

We went to the Disney screening theater for a screening, obviously. I am however not allowed to say for what. I loved the size of the theater and the thick dark red velvet that lined the seats, walls and screen, pre and post show of course. I wish it was open to the public for smaller releases, but the again I understand the hush hush nature of a large corporation such as Disney. Everything is so easy on the lot, virtually no lines to park, even during peak business hours. I liked being able to walk around the lot while on the quest to find the theater. If only the excitement of my four year old self could have been contained. Even the shrubbery was unmistakably Disney. I felt like a kid going to a magical faraway kingdom of endless possibilities and imagination. I can’t wait until the next time I am lucky enough to be invited back.

Brave Screening on Nov. 8th. The theater is old school fabulous. No food or drink(even water) allowed in the theater. Disney had a reception with a buffet in the commissary where they served a great salad with wonderful dressing and pecans along with standard buffet items.

Oooooooooh, Disney Screening Theater. This was a cool experience, I have to admit. This is where they show movies at their location. It was super easy to find and there was plenty of parking. BUT, get there 1 hour early because it takes a while to get inside the gate. Eat before you go. There is no food or drink there. Also, you can’t bring food or drink into the actual theater. The seats are so perfectly designed. Wow. Don’t half step. Once inside, get specific directions to the theater building on the Disney lot.
