The food here is good and the fact that you can get free peanuts while you wait is even better but the service is not always the same. They sometimes take forever for your order and other times they have it ready minutes after. In one instance, they forgot about a milkshake that was ordered. I reminded them, they said sorry they’ll have it ready in a bit. Few minutes later they had completely forgotten about it. Its not rocket science.

I’ve been coming here consistently for a couple months now. Before I came, I called and asked if they did lettuce wrapped burgers. The guy who answered the phone was so genuinely happy to ask me in to try their lettuce wrap. So before I even went, I was happy with the genuine concern for their customers. Every time I go in, they are eager to take your order, they are working hard, smiling, and it’s always a pleasant experience to go in there. Not to mention, the burgers are very good. You can put all kinds of toppings on your burger to make a totally different burger each time. And… Their diet friendly!

Amazing food! All the workers are very friendly and helpful. The food is very fresh and you get your money’s worth. You can customize the burgers as well. Not only is the food delicious but the food is out within minutes of ordering. In my opinion it’s much better than McDonald’s and other fast food places :)

I was in when you opened and I loved it. Then I went a few month later still loved it. I still love the food BUTNOWYOURSERVICESUCKS and some little dissapointments. And I mean it really sucks … we ordered 3 ppl on 2 ordering numbers … the earlier one were not even called when we finished the half of our order. The I went up to ask for the forgotten one and was told it was delayed because of priorities … REALLY?!? After another 5min we went back again to ask for this MYSTERYVEGGIEBURGERWITHFRIES and had to wait 3 more minutes … meanwhile they did multiple other orders called and finally after 32min from ordering to pick up we were done. It would now end but the veggie burger was chopped up onions, few chopped up mushrooms and a strip of bell pepper in a burger bun … SAD.

This place makes some mouth watering burgers that are fucking amazing. And milkshakes too! All the guys that worked today David, Collin, Gary and Diego are all kicking ass. Hear that Mr. Manager? Time to give them a 50 cent raise buddy. It’s about time. Awesome environment, awesome food but most importantly, AMAZINGSTAFF! Cheers to a great experience.

The first time I have been to Five Guys was not the one in Burbank but I had an unpleasant experience of finding hair in my food. I told myself that I wouldn’t go here again but I gave it another chance and as happy as I was enjoying my burger, I took a bite and there it was ANOTHERSTRANDOFHAIR(this time actually pulling it out of my mouth). Considering that their burgers are not as tasteful as in-n-out, it is a shame that they can’t even protect their food from the simplicities of a fallen hair. I really couldn’t believe it happened a second time(it shouldn’t even have happened the first time). As for the food, they may offer more varieties but it still doesn’t compare to in-n-out’s cheaper priced and delicious burgers and fries!

Overall, I’m just not that impressed with Five Guys. I’ve had their burgers on two different occasions, and both times made me want In n Out. That’s not to say that their burgers are bad, or that their establishment is trash, I just prefer the California staple. This 5 Guys is perfectly located close to all the main shopping and the movie theaters. Their spot is clean, and has the same throwback 50’s burger joint vibe that in n out does. The biggest issue for me is that they just don’t do it as well. Plus, In N Out is cheaper! Their basic cheeseburger is automatically about 4 dollars more than In n Out, and that’s sans special sauce. They do have those newfangled Coke machines where you can create your soda, like cherry root beer and my personal fave, Vanilla coke, but ultimately, 5 Guys just falls short for me. Now, hand me a double double: D

This place is awesome! Super friendly staff, great tasting burgers, because you can put whatever you like on them, natural cut fries done to perfection, crate your own shakes with free mix-ins, and my son loves the free peanuts! I’d be here every day, if I didn’t care about my weight.

Best burger place in LA! To start off, we ordered our food and my brother is allergic to tomato so he said no tomato and the guy told us that everyone was supposed to change their gloves to make his burger(I have never seen any other place do this). Since this was my first time here, I didn’t know that the burgers had mushrooms/grilled onions but it was still finger-lickin good! And they’re huge! And their cajun fries were delicious. Overall, I love this place!

After watching the best Marvel Movie of the year(DEADPOOL) thus far, the guys and I, are in need of nourishment. So we decided to head out to FIVEGUYS. I. LOVE. THIS. BURGERJOINT. As soon as you enter, you are welcomed by the staff. You also get FREEPEANUTS! Very cool! Their menu is simple. All burgers are DOUBLE beef pattys. The ones that has«Little» on it, those are SINGLE pattys. After choosing my burger(Cheeseburger) from the four choices: HAMBURGER CHEESEBURGER BACONBURGER BACONCHEESEBURGER You get to choose what toppings to dress up your burger. ALLTOPPINGSAREFREE!!! –mayo, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, mustard, onions, jalapeño peppers, green peppers, A-1 Steak sauce, hot sauce, bbq sauce Oh by the way they also have HOTDOGS, and SANDWICHES, and SIDES. Burgers are very juicy, and not an ounce of dryness. Everything about the burger is J U I C Y! Melts in your mouth goodness! Fries are excellent as well! The place also has a relaxing ambiance. At least when were there. It did get busy afterwards. Very good burgers, yet to try the hot dogs and sandwiches. Their prices are bit expensive compared to In N Out, Carl’s Jr, etc but, if you wanted to try something different… give FIVEGUYS a try. We will be back.

There’s an In N Out Burger around the corner from this Five Guys location. Burger had good flavor. Fries were good… but between me and my daughter I spent $ 28 for the meal… the same/similar meal at In N Out would have been about $ 17. As a value proposition, I won’t go back. My dollars can go much farther elsewhere.

I have a crush on five guys. And 2 of them are right here on Unilocal! Burgers are pretty good. All the toppings are good except for the mushrooms. Makes for a messy ass burger. Fries are good but borderline salty. My theory is if you’re bad af, you don’t need to make all this noise to let it be known. You don’t have to be the loudest in the room to prove your badassery. Presence alone will speak for itself. Five guys on the other hand have newspaper clippings, magazine reviews & quotes up n down the walls & cups. Not only do I not give a *bleep* but I don’t even know who these effers are, trying to convince ME it’s a good burger. Your Homegirl, Violy

This was my first time, so 4 stars may be a bit much… however, I’m such a nut for clean and well kept places… they earned it! Food: I ordered a basic, bacon cheeseburger with mayo and ketchup. Fries on the side. Pretty yummy burger, cooked well, condiments not over-powering and fresh, soft bun. I’m not a huge burger girl but this was pretty darn good. Other folks got fancy with barbque sauce and other choices which, there are plenty. Service: Average fast-food type service… friendly, thorough and quick. They offer those new-fangled beverage machine that offers everything except margaritas… now THAT would be a machine! Décor: Had a In n’ Out feel to it(without the insane crowds)…yet.

I’m from the East coast. I know what Five Guys is all about. This Five Guys is a disgrace. Besides the fact that I spent 15 $ for a burger, fries, and a soda, I was extremely disappointed with the amount I got. Five Guys, where I am from, is known for giving you an excessive amount of fries. Typically, you have to dig through the fries in the bag just to find your burger. I think the picture I posted with this review sums up the overall experience I received at Five Guys in Burbank.

With opening of the Burbank store I figured I’d give them a second chance, because after my 1st visit of the chain I was underwhelmed; I’m thinking that this was was caused by the unfounded adulation I had heard for so long. Take for instance, the fries. Based on conversations, It was if eating them would cure you off all your ills, but in the end, I just got greasy, floppy fries. Yuck. My 2nd trip I have to admit the fries were much better, crispy, cajunie, and not any greasiest than your average fry, but in the end they were just Ok. Also, the prices of the fries are ridiculous. I can’t remember exactly, but a large fry was over $ 6 for just the fries. The burger was tasty as well(Bacon Chz Burger), but at over $ 8 for the burger alone, the taste didn’t represent the cost. The toppings are all *Free, but when you see the menu prices you’ll realize you are paying for them anyway, so LOAD up. I paid $ 12+ for a burger and soda.(My friend bought the medium fries we shared). For the value I won’t be back very often, but for a different taste I’ll be back occasionally.

Good to see that Five Guys opened up a location in Burbank. Its located on Magnolia Boulevard as part of the Media Center aka Burbank mall where San Fernando Road hits Magnolia Blvd. We were craving burgers after landing at BUR from OAK and it was good timing as I had heard they just opened up the week prior. Walking in you definitely feel like this is a burger joint. Sacks of potatoes stacked up. Food quotes on the wall. And the serve yourself peanuts by the scoop. My only complaint is the price. Five Guys burgers are not cheap. Almost $ 10 for a bacon cheeseburger. Yikes! And I was starved so I got a bacon cheeseburger, little cheeseburger and medium fries. The bacon cheeseburger is good and tasty. It comes with 2 burger patties, cheese and I added mayo, grilled onions, lettuce, tomatoes and ketchup. That’s the way I like my burgers and I like that you can handcraft your burgers at Five Guys. The little cheeseburger is good and tasty too. The regular sized fries I ordered was so plentiful. They give you so much, so I probably would get a little order next time. I def couldnt finish all the fries they gave me. Good burgers. Good fries. Peanuts are good too. Service is friendly and efficient. The only negative is the price. Its pricey for a quick bite burger. Even though its handcrafted to your liking.

Saw this place as I was hungrily walking through Burbank. I was going to make a quick stop into McDonald’s but thought I’d treat myself to something new. The service at the order counter was fast and it was a slow night so the place was pretty empty. Ordering a bacon burger, fries and a milkshake I was a little shocked to find I was paying about $ 18! I hoped it would be worth it but alas… I had ordered at 8:02pm and took a seat. Finished my shake and still no sign of the food. Finally, at 8:23 my number is called and what I end up with is a burger smaller than a Big Mac and fries so dry that I ended up throwing most of them away. I figure this place is maybe still trying to get up to speed, but even with quicker service I’m not so sure I’d pay that much for the kind of food I got.

I was extremely excited when I saw that Five Guys opened up in Burbank! Although the staff was very friendly, their food didn’t taste like the other Five Guys restaurants I’ve dined at. Their Cajun fries were over seasoned and salted. I will give this place another chance though.

Scale 1 — 10 …15! Seriously the bacon cheeseburger is amazing!!! Fries… amazing!!! Puts other burger joints to shame including in & out. A little pricey but you get what you pay for! Just wish they had more locations in this area.

This place is freaking AWESOME! Today was opening day and my very first time at a Five Guys, and I must say it was a wonderful experience. We came in and there was a bit of a line but it went FAST! From the time we stood in line, ordered our food and received it, it was a total of 15 mins. NOTBADATALL! I was very pleased! Once our food came I devoured it. Everything was fresh and tasty. We got the regular fires to share and each a little bacon cheeseburger. AMAZING. They gave us plenty of fries and extra in the bag. Oh and a cool little touch, they offer free peanuts while you wait! I mean, come on… That’s genius. P. S. Watch out In N Out… I am sure they will feel the hit. Because Five Guys pretty much blows them out of the water.
