Went there for lunch and the it was like eating in a third world country. All the plates had this grit on them, like they had not been washed. The chicken did not look or taste like chicken. All the fruit was old from the grapes to the bananas. The water they gave me taste like sewerage, it was so bad. The City of Burbank, IL really needs to send inspectors out because this place should be closed…

This is probably the best chinese buffet in this area. Big variety! There is allot of people that go here so the food doesn’t sit around all day especially on the weekends.

Normally I dont even bother reviewing them because if you’ve been to one of pretty much been to them all, right? Well, this one I actually really like!!! Food is always fresh and a very extensive selection. THUMBSUP!

Went because of all the word of mouth reviews and once my experience was over, I found this place to have poor to mediocre food with horrible service and nothing but attitude from the staff. Don’t waste your time.

Don’t read these bad reviews. This place is really good. Cheap price. Nice choice. Good quality. Trust me I am very picky. Actually it’s very popular place. Locals now about it

Very cultural building impressive for a buffet. Lots of food to choose and just wished the sushi was labeled … Would come back good for buffet.

The place was filthy!!! Small piles of food all over the place. I usually stay away from buffets because I don’t trust them but a friend needed a side kick so I agreed to go, probably won’t go back. The only reason I gave it a extra star is because of the hibachi grill section. Not the best but better than the buffet alone. Try at your own risk

Just awful! I decided to visit this place instead of Ford City Buffet today at 5:25PM. Major mistake! When I arrived, the place was practically empty… save the almost unbearable smell of fish which attacked my olfactory receptors. I explained to the female cashier that I had decided to visit this place instead of the Ford City Buffet and that this was my first time. She instructed me to take a seat and to leave my receipt on the table. I included a 2 dollar tip with the charge even though I had not experienced the place yet. The food selection was much more limited than Ford City Buffet. I decided to try the various seafood selections. Subpar is the only word that I can use to describe the food. Then I made the mistake of asking a hostess how a person could get a drink. She ignored me at first and then starting snapping at me in broken English. I replied that I could not understand her. She then rudely walked away and returned with a glass of water. I spoke to the cashier who returned to my table with who I assume was the Manager. Although he did not apologize for his employees behavior, he said that he would talk to her. I struggled to eat the first plate of shrimp, mussels, imitation crab, and crawfish. Afterwards, while my cracked glass of water flooded my table, I visited the other food stations. Everything appeared as though it had been previously cooked… several hours prior… and then reheated and slapped into a butter-filled pan. The red meat looked abnormally dry as it bathed beneath a heat lamp. The rice was cold. I finished my tea… a different hostess brought me some tea… and left thoroughly dissatisfied. I will NEVER return to this nightmare of a buffet. I should’ve heeded the warnings from previous patrons who described this place. The melons looked fresh but tasted strange. I attempted to get more tea but the hostess from my first encounter continued to ignore me. This buffet should be avoided. The service is horrendous and the food is subpar.

I use to work there & I start bring my own meal Wen I seen how Chinese people make the food & smoking at the same time or picking food from the garbage or the floor it was real nasty & also Wen they save foods from past days & still putting out on the buffet.

Very clean and flavorful with a good variety of food on the buffet. The grill cooked up some steak to perfection. Overall very pleased they only problem is that some of the food items were not up to temperature but I told them and they brought out some freshly cooked chicken. I’ll definitely give them another try just hope they can keep a better watch on the food temps. The best part there were no annoying signs telling you that you would be charged extra if they thought you wasted food.

I’m never going to learn my lessons with these buffets. Told a guy I know I was tired of eating sandwiches while in this area. He told me that some of the guys that I work with like this place and it is good. No it’s not good it’s bad. It’s another buffet with over cooked food that has been under the heat lamps to long. Find somewhere else to go it’s terrible.

Honest review: dont expect a 3 star meal or farm to table fresh. Its good for what you pay for. They oysters, be warned some of them do not taste good its a hit and miss. There are crabs which are sometimes good sometimes they have a funky taste to them. There are frog legs which are amaizing. THeres octopus, sushi most of it is fake crab but atleast its something different. Then theres the hibachi grill which makes good things. My favorite is the coconut shrimp, fried shushi thing idk what its called, crab, mussels clams only thing i eat here sometimes the food can be really cold and the service is horrible i mean horrible the worst out of any restaurant. Its also really dirty

I dined here yesterday. The high point was the grill master. He was excellent. Otherwise the buffet food was unimpressive, the service was poor. I noticed the servers were selective about who they gave a fortune cookies. My small table of 2 diners were not given a cookie. I wonder why? They were very selective. I will not return to this buffet.

As the saying goes, but a fork in it — it’s done. Well, put the chop sticks in it — it’s almost done. I give this place a few more months and it will be closed like other China buffets in the area. Stopped in on a Friday night for dinner, opted for the booths in the back. The over powering smell of dirty dishes or punk was in the air, it reminded me of Olde Country Buffet. The waitresses were more interested in folding silverware into napkins than taking care of the tables. The food seemed more tasteless than usual and was luke warm to being cold. The only thing that was good was the steaks that were cooked to order. And the restrooms looked like they have not been touched in weeks.

First, I don’t like seafood, sushi, fish, shrimp, you name it. I can eat elementary school style fish sticks bathed in tartar sauce and that’s about it. I can’t tell the difference between 25 cent sushi and 25 dollar sushi. So, why 5 stars? Because it’s only $ 8 with a drink during lunch hours for a lot of food. They bring out full racks of barbecue ribs and chicken wings. A full rack of ribs with a dozen wings and a drink will set you back $ 25 most places. So, why would anyone not gives this place 5 stars based on that. They also had Sesame chicken and General Tso’s which was pretty good. They had good french fries, sausage, beef, steak, and ice cream. If you like fish and stuff, I would assume this place would be that much better. My only grievance is that Chinese buffets have the worst dessert selection, but you should already know that. This place at least has good Cookies n Cream ice cream to compensate. All of the other desserts don’t have enough sugar for American taste buds. Oh yeah, this place has by far the worst fried chicken that I have ever had. Or at least kind of had. This is one bite and spit it out fried chicken, it was that bad. The pizza also sucked. Just get the bbq ribs, steak, wings, sausage, french fries, and an horchata to drink and you’ll be pleased.

what can I say; it’s a buffet; don’t come here to be wowed by specialty items. I must say though, that they offer some oddities that not every buffet offers. They have a sushi bar, a hibachi grill & an ice cream stand. They offer American dishes as well as typical Chinese fare. The last time I was there, they also began to offer Aguas Frescas(Mexican fruit juices & horchata) for the Latino community to order & I think you can even get beer! I would go back if I was ever THAT hungry again!
