I have to say this is my absolute favorite Restaurant in the valley. I am a sushi fanatic and they never fail to impress me with their food. I also love that they serve french fries because who doesn’t love fries? Service is great and I love the interior design of the restaurant itself. Plus it is in a great location with ice cream shops and a movie theater just walking distance.

Let me start off saying that I use to love this spot until my experience tonight where my food was over charge after seeing my bill by $ 45 dollars how do you make this mistake… Was this restaurant attempting to rip me off? I asked to speak to a manager regarding my bill being over charge … NOONECAME !! Once my bill was recharge the correct amount … No one still came. I refused to sign the bil for the 2nd charge until I spoke to a manager… He never apologized for the mishaps until I gave him a speech on customer service wasn’t trying to be difficult but no one seem to care about the entire quote on quote mishap of my entire table being overcharged by food we didn’t order… Word of advice when attending this HAPPYHOUR … CHECKYOURBILLANDYOURCHARGES!

Maybe it’s franchised or simple generic but nothing here stood out. You can get better sushi at smaller mom and pop shops. Food was meh, service was meh. Don’t think I’ll be coming back.

This is a good sushi spot for a quick bite and nice ambiance. I wasn’t impressed with their sushi rice itself, but the portion sizes were good for the price.

Ah man! The money spent compared to the experience we had was amazing! We went during their reversed happy hour on a Thursday evening and got seated right away. We got a handsome waiter who’s eye contact game was on point. Not sure if that was a flirting tactic for increased tips or actually genuine communication skills, either way it worked. I really like the interior of this place. Somewhat dimmed lights but with ‘fluorescent’ details on the furniture(and ceiling?), in a totally non-creepy and actually fancy, calming, but energetic mixture. Weird, I know but the best way I could describe it. Plus some nice music in the background but at the right volume to still allow for normal conversations. One little negative detail was the size of the table. We were seated at a booth which was great for privacy, but we had to reach out pretty far just to hold hands(yes, we were that cheesy couple). A little slimmer table would’ve made for a perfect date setting. We ordered a glass of white wine and lots of different sushi options; 5 orders plus a good sized seaweed salad, coming out to a total of slightly $ 50(incl. tip). We left rolling out of the place! At the end we felt a little pushed by the waiters to leave, which was understandable: it was our anniversary so we indulged in food, laughter and loooong conversations. Nothing that I wouldn’t expect anywhere else.

I’ve always had a good experience here, especially when ‘Andrew’ was our server. Fam & I been coming here for a long time. All their rolls are delish! Anything salmon is heavenly melts in your mouth. They have a great happy hour I belive it’s until 3, then 6 – 9 . not sure I always call to confirm. They have great saki-tinis! Pomegranate saki-tini is great! Of course they have beer. Rolls recommend of the top of my head… Ultimate salmon Lion king Rose roll Fried jalapeños But basically anything of the menu is amazing!

The service sucked and the food was just mehh. We came on a Saturday night. got seated about 25 minutes later. What happened after was just a nightmare. Ordered our food and drinks. ice tea had no ice. We couldn’t find our waitress so we asked the MANAGER for a cup of ice. He never brought it, had to ask 2 different waiters for it before it was brought. Our entire dinner was brought to the table before our appetizer was. We were never given the sauces/Wasabi, had to ask twice for that also. The service, if there was any, was horrible. From the time we got the check to the time we received the processed credit card, it took 25 minutes. At the end of the night, we asked to speak to the manager and inform him of the nonexistent service and how he forgot to bring us the ice we had asked for. He was very unapologetically said it was because they were understaffed and the chef was behind. No apologies, just excuses. And they weren’t understaffed since there was probably at least 6 – 7 waiters/waitresses on the floor and the restaurant isn’t that big. This place needs a new manager that knows how to manage the restaurant and the servers.

I FINALLY made it here due to a friend’s request and you know, it wasn’t all that bad. YES, I’m super picky with my Japanese food ESPECIALLY sushi cause my dad is a Chef, and Japanese. My take on this place is that it wasn’t that bad, but I’m basing this on two rolls and not anything from the kitchen but just the sushi bar. … I was most impressed, oddly enough with the wasabi. Their wasabi isn’t cheap quality wasabi. Kudos for that. I’m on this health kick so I did allow myself one spicy tuna roll and it was KICKING with heat. I mean super spicy, my nose flared up — that being said, it was delicious. I love when that happens. I was debating between the Yummy Skinny Roll(no rice, wrapped in cucumber skin) or the Sashimi roll(no rice, wrapped in soy paper). These are the two I would opt for if you don’t want to go off the high rice. But fair warning, we forget(as did I) that imitation crab is made of rice flour! HAHA). Anyway very good, about $ 20 for a specialty roll of sashimi roll and the spicy tuna. Would come here again if my friend wanted to. Not sure if it’s cause my expectations were super low, but hey have a lot of things on the menu… I WOULD come back for the tempura ice cream! Fish is fresh enough. But one thing is beware, the pictures they plate on their website, well, the food looks a lot different and less appealing but all the same … the taste is OK!

When I came here I didn’t really get to pay attention to the food. I came here with some friends and we had a super serious talk. From what I remember the food was pretty good and they had happy hour prices which makes it easier on the wallet. I want to come back here again to give this place a second chance. Notes: Happy hour is after 9pm till whenever. Parking is tough, try to park on the streets, if not park in the near by parking structure. Décor looks like h20 if not the same in northridge.

It’s been 7 years since I last came here and apparently some things are not the same as I loved before. I came during their«reverse happy hour» which is a great deal across the board, but I did have some problems that make me kinda not want to come here again. And those are: Dirty bar– dried rice and pieces of vegetables, as if the staff don’t care to actually wipe the sushi bar. It was kind of a turn off so I picked them out wiped them away myself… It was really loud at 3p, lots of young groups, like this is where kids go after school when they don’t want to go home. I counted 4 groups of 6 or more that were pretty much shouting at each other to talk. The fish was decent, and the service from the chefs was quick, but I think if I do come again i would be after the kids went to sleep.

Haven’t been here in forever but it’s actually a good option for sushi in Burbank. Gets busy even late at night since they have Happy Hour. FOOD: Sashimi Roll(3.5−4 stars): Great roll without rice and a good option when you’re trying to be low carb(= Filled with a little too much imitation crab though. Salmon Carpaccio(5 stars): Loved this dish! Salmon was really fresh and all the components worked really well with it. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon(3 stars): Standard, nothing special. Kara Roll(2 stars): Not much flavor. Tried other rolls and they were okay as well. When I come back I’ll probably stick to their carpaccios. ATMOSPHERE: Nice atmosphere, clean, nice tables and bar seating. SERVICE: Service has also been good here but when it comes time for the bill they take FOREVER to bring your credit card back! Happened both times I came recently. So if you’re in a rush ask for the bill early. PARKING: Parking on the street if you’re lucky but it’s easier to just park in the Palm parking garage right next to the restaurant.

Decent prices & quality. The only issue I have, was the wait. We waited for 30 mins, with a restaurant full of empty tables. The chefs special plate included uni and roe, all of which were great quality. The tuna & scallop carpaccio were my favorite of everything we ordered. I didn’t eat rolls… However, other people in our party ordered them and enjoyed them. I would return, if I was ever in the area again.
