A great place for lessons, especially if you’ve never acted before, because Jon — who’s been in the business for 16 years and has helped create a smattering of recognizable names and careers — will not bullshit you. His On Camera TV/​Film class is actually filmed, reviewed in class and then critiqued on talent and technical aspects. There’s an awful lot involved in on camera acting before you even begin to worry about how good an actor you are, and in some cases it is arguably more important anyway, so I would recommend going here to learn. Classes are usually small and intimate and Jon really takes the time to talk to each actor about the scene and gives an in-​depth review on your work.
