This is a real bar, not some family restaurant pretending to be a bar… No food, no windows, just great drinks, a jukebox and a few TV’s. On Friday and Saturday get there early because the later it gets the more it fills up and it’s not a big place.

The drinks taste wired(maybe fake) . The bartender is bitter and overall the people that work here just not nice and there is no point to talk about the music here make me feel like its time to go home.

Cool dive bar. I like that they had some Classic rock playing, but not too loud so that I can still have a conversation without yelling. Laid back place to drink and talk with a friend.

The Snug fancies itself as an Irish bar. It’s not a pub and it’s not all that Irish. However, I believe the guy behind the bar is possibly… Irish. Relatively unassuming place from the outside. Not just white hipsters — thank god. Although i can imagine it gets ugly(too white) in there from time-to-time. There are a couple large booths that sit about 5 – 6 persons, and some tables to chit chat over. A collection of board games exist, not many, but that’s encouraging to know you could possibly bring your own games and have a blast! I enjoyed my time there, although not much to go on. I’m not a Whiskey drinker but, if you are, there seems a good selection. There are ‘snacks’ available, ranging from Famous Amos’ cookies to Pringles! A big plus! Two video games to play: Family Guy pinball and some 80’s nonsense video game… Pfft. I suck at both. The air conditioner was on full blast while I was there and seemed to be directly upon me. Brrr! I did not check out the restrooms, but I’m guessing nothing fancy or two disgusting. I’d go back there for sure. I like the idea of playing board games and chillin’ in a moderate dive enviro. with friends, having a chit chat and listening to… well…not my kind of music. But you can play whatever you want if you’re not lazy like I am and put some money in the jukebox.

This place is pretty chill! This was a last minute decision for my friend and I and we weren’t disappointed! The drinks were definitely affordable and the crowd wasn’t rowdy. Parking: street parking. I got there around midnight and there was tons of parking available. Ambience: not the place to dress to impress. Literally just a place to come and enjoy a drink and watch the game on one f their many tvs. There are about 4 booths, some stand alone tables and the bar. Not a big place. Staff: friendly, laid back. Drinks: I could have done with a tad more jack in my jack and coke, but you get what you pay for. Will come back.

This place has laid back bartenders and an incredible selection of whiskey. They have great prices, but I still can’t get over their variety and quality of whiskeys on offer. It’s great because you can have a «classy» delicious drink in a very comfortable, unpretentious place.

A quintessential dive bar in the Burbank/NoHo area. Dark, loud rock & roll, personable bartenders. And,…for you beer aficionados, please see my somewhat scathing review of Tony’s Darts Away. This place does not have the beer selection, nor the patio, but it has a positive energy,…AND,…I just ordered a 7% Stone which was served in a pint, AND, being that it’s Happy Hour, I just paid $ 3.75! That’s 30% more beer at a 40% discount in price.(I realize this only makes sense if you read my review for Tony’s,…soooo :-) go read it!)

You need to go here! It’s a chill spot. :) Much more welcoming than that Joes Bullshit Tavern.

Great drinks! Never have to deal with creepy guys, and that’s the best. Bar staff is friendly, and they have free pretzels!!! As you walk in the place is dark, they have some very comfortable booths to the left, and a bar along the right. They have board games and a music player. All in all a great place.

Great little bar, great place to go when you’re with a group and want to hear music and have a conversation at the same time. Good prices on drinks. Good vibes. There’s always this one little guy that’s always there around, doing dance moves. Goes by the name of Jacob

Super chill. The music isn’t too loud and there aren’t a ton of people. I love to go here with a friend. Love this place.

Down to earth easy ambiance. Great bar to hit up at the end of a hard work day. Tim is awesome!

Pretty cool bar as far as the layout, but man the service was slow. No one should ever have to wait 15 minutes at the bar to get a drink, especially not with a chubby bartender sweating all over the place(thank god he didn’t actually make my drink). I only had 1 and then left. Don’t think I’ll be coming back here.

Snug. Cold drinks, warm atmosphere. Bartenders are sweet, funny and won’t hesitate to throw an a-hole out on their ass. I appreciate this. The Snug = 100 Proof

They really need to put a door in there toilet stall in the mens bathroom. Cuz when some buddy walked in while I was taking a sh** was kinda awkward.

We found this place on Unilocal when we were looking for a place to grab a drink before The Conan O’brien taping. We had about an hour to kill and this place was fairly close to the Warner Bros lot. We arrived a little bit after they had opened and we’re greeted by an older, female bartender who was still tending to some bookkeeping duties. The interior had the vibe of a dive bar but a newer looking dive bar. The bartender was very friendly and talked to us about how a lot of their customers are people who are attending Conan tapings. They had a wide selection of well beers and craft beers(Stone, Firestone, Goose Island etc.) and you get a bowl of pretzels with your beer! They also have a decent amount of board games stacked in a corner(with a sign that reads«please play our games») that you can play while you drink. The clientele at that time were elderly men that seemed to be regulars. Nice older gentleman. You should check this place out if you have time to kill before a Conan taping or if you’re ever around the Warner Bros studio lot area. Definitely checking this place out again.

We rolled in here about 1am last night for some more drinks a little closer to home than the bar we were at downtown. Parking is easy and we walked right into the door to a small, dimly lit divey bar with maybe 4 or 5 other people occupying the various seats and booths. As someone mentioned before though, this place is not meant for big crowds so it was nice. The bartender was super friendly despite us coming in an hour before he closed up for the night. They’ve got some classic board games, a Batman pinball machine, and a fun jukebox to amuse yourself with. The jukebox is kinda pricey for playing songs, but I’m not really familiar with jukebox prices. It also has a Photo Booth setting on it that allows you to take 4 pictures, create a background, put a filter on it, and either email it or post it on Facebook. I was the DD last night, so I can’t speak for the drinks myself but my friend said her’s was very deliciously strong. I would definitely come back again when I’m in the area; it seems like a good place to chill with a drink.

ALLWELLDRINKS, WINE, ANDBEERARE $ 3DURINGHAPPYHOUR. HAPPYHORENDSAT7PM. Despite that, this place sucks. 1. It is very crowded 2. The people who worked there did not even know if there was meat in the pasta sauce they were serving. «Probably.» was the answer I received from a person with an attitude. 3. I only went there for NBA and called ahead of time to make sure some sound would be on… Well that did not happen. No subtitles either. 4. I handed the bartender my card and instead of bringing the merchant’s receipt to me, she kept interrupting the game. «What, you want to close out?» I had to go to her to hear what she was saying(so loud in there) but yeah, I already told her I wanted to close out. Then I go to the only TV with NBA on since she was taking so long and then she motions for me again to sign the merchant’s receipt. She is quick to get up and talk to the… is he a bouncer? but does not hand people their receipts or drink? Outside of happy hour, the drink prices are about the same as anywhere else. The only food that was being served was pasta(that is only on Fridays) and pretzels.

This place was pretty cool. The night I went the Bushmills girls were sampling shots of whiskey. They were also giving away free stuff. There isn’t food, but they have plenty of local menus to choose from and allow you have it delivered and eat inside. The server we had was fine, but definitely not great. She got our checks messed up so tabbing out took a little longer than usual. She did give us plenty pretzels(bar snacks) the entire night! I’ll be going back.

We recently popped in here after seeing a movie nearby. It’s a nice, little dive bar that’s tucked away. From the outside it doesn’t look like much and honestly, the inside isn’t that great either but it’s a nice place to stop by and have a drink without being surrounded by pretentious LA people. The drinks are cheap and the bartenders(especially Kat) are super nice. They have an internet jukebox that has a little bit of everything on it. The ladies room was surprisingly clean, for a dive. There are a few tables and obviously the bar area where you can sit. They also have trivia nights. A very chill vibe.
