I liked the environment and the staff is really friendly, but my French Gel manicure was not great (there are white spots below the tip line and it is uneven) and my toenail polish was completely bumpy. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to this place for nails. However, the lady who did my eyebrows was amazing and they looked great! She’s the reason I am giving this place 3 stars!

Came here today and decided to try out a gel manicure for the first time. This place is clean and they have the t. v on while you get your nails done which I like l. I liked how my nails came out and definitely would come back.

Really nice folks working there. Better to have an appointment when you go. Quite a busy place. Prices very reasonable, the mani. pedi. I have no complaints. The gels are priced very well done. I would recommend this nail salon to a friend.

I love this place i love the atmosphere the ladies are very friendly and are always welcoming. The have the spa pedicure massage chairs that are so relaxing. I recommend them.

BEST SALON I have ever been to! I have been coming here for about two years now and they never let me down. Different employees do my nails every time I go, and they all know what they are doing. I highly recommend. Great customer service and my nails always come out to be the way I wanted. The work is so neat and nails always come out perfect!

Omgosh. I have come here for YEARS and loved it, but they just added new massage chair pedicures!!! Heaven! and SO affordable and CLEAN!
I get it all done here, nails, waxing and now my pedicure with a great massage chair that is not too rough. I can’t recommend it enough to those looking for a place to get it all. Plus lots of easy free parking available.

I haven’t had a pedicure in several months and stopped by Tulip Salon because they are close to my house. I had a pleasant experience. I was taken immediately without an appointment and the girls were very nice. I wanted the spa chair, needed a callouse treatment, and wanted a design on my toes. These were all extra charge, which I was expecting. What I wasn’t expecting was the final price — $ 27.
I will be going here again and again!

LOVE this place — Van IS the second best (so book with Everyone ELSE .so i always have my appt open with her. lol) just kidding. Van is the greatest! they are all awesome and so friendly & joke around. i can’t stop laughing when i go get my nails done! its like my twice a month therapy-​but you leave with friggen awesome nails ;) lol
Highly recommended !! very friendly & never have had any issues and i have been going for over 20 yrs i think. *then again… i can’t be that old!!! LOL

I love the vibes and the upbeatness. The staff is so nice and seems to know everyone by a first name basis. For sure coming back! :)

Van did my nails today, at first I was a little left out, she and Thu were talking and I just sat there till I was like well shit I’m going to sitting here for a while I’m going to just force my way into the convo. Another nice customer was seated next to me and all four of us had a really funny unusual sexual discussion on The Rock and Vin diesel and about B*oners lol. Funniest time I’ve ever had at a nail salon with out my boyfriend or bestie. As for my nails they came out nice but one thing that I did wish was Van to have asked how I like my nails shaped. I normally like square and narrow, but again maybe we were so wrapped up in our convo she didn’t realize and auto pilot kicked into high gear. Non the less the came out nice. Highly recommend tulip salon!

I have been going to Tu for over 15 years. She is always on time and gets me in and out in an hour. I also love Kim for my pedicures.

I’ve been to this salon a few times over the last 2 years — it was always an affordable place to get a decent pedicure.
The pedicure was $ 10 for a solid color — usually for that you got a mediocre pedicure (less than 15 minutes of service) but I always went back because it was simple and got the job done.
Today I went — got an even less than mediocre pedicure — I was charged $ 12 & then told I was being charged $ 1 to use my card. I’m not irritated b/​c of the money — I won’t be going back because I’m pretty certain this woman thought I had never been there before & wanted to tack on a few extra dollars for a tip… which she definitely did not earn by any means. The pan for water that my feet soaked in was cold and even worse the whole experience was less than 12 minutes. Most women go for the relaxation & spa treatment. This was by far a joke.
I know you get what you pay for, well, shame on me once, shame on me twice for going back & giving this place another try. I won’t be back again, that’s for certain.

My wife and daughter got pedicures on Saturday and they loved it. The price was awesome. However when my daughter got her eyebrows waxed it turned into a nightmare. My daughter had wax burns on her eye lids and well, pain is what my daughter remembers the most about this nice place. Btw, charging a dollar to use a credit card is fine but full disclosure before running a credit card is good business.
Bottom line… stick to manicures and pedicures and Tulip is a great place to do business.

This place is actually my «back up» if I don’t take the time to make an actual appt ahead of time for my usual place which is Fashion Nails on Verdugo. But honestly they’re almost just as good as them!
Bonnie did a great job on my French Pedicure. For 14 $!! You really can’t beat that. Most places for pedicures are 18 $ and up if you’re lucky. Mondays seems to be pretty empty for them and they’ll take walk– ins.
They’re currently changing the place up a head bit and painting as well as redecorating. Looks way better than before with some relaxing blue and white tones instead of whatever they had going on.
I’ll be coming back soon :)

Walked in was helped by Tracy and had nails and feet that were over due!!! Tracy worked miracles and you can’t beat the price

I love Bonnie. I have been seeing her since I was 13 years old. I am now 33. She has done my waxing eyebrows and legs. manicure and peculiar! She is great! I would recommended Bonnie. Make an appointment and ask for her!

This place is sweet! I have only been to get my brows done bc my friend recommended I go there and have Bonnie do it. It’s inexpensive and she’s great! Very sweet lady and is professional and good at what she does!!! It’s always busy when I go in there so im sure their other services are great too! Oh, and forced my boyfriend to get his brows done and now he’s forever grateful! He’s such a mans man so he was embarrassed to go but Bonnie made him feel comfortable and assured him nothing would go wrong!

Little storefront in a tiny strip mall on Olive in Burbank (just W. Of Victory.) Very different looking from my upscale nail spa but I’ve been getting fed up with some of the people and practices there lately and I read a review by a trusted Unilocal Elitester (Andrea K.) so I walked in and hoped for the best.
They seated me immediately with a cute little lady called Tina and she immediately got down to business on my nails and got too personal, Anjelah Johnson style, asking if I’m married, giving me accusatory glares upon learning that we weren’t planning on procreating, and insulting the length of my nails (I like them to cut them short). If you don’t understand the reference you must see this hilarious clip:

However, although she did not like the length I chose, she at least respected the length I chose, and followed the directions I gave her. The tips weren’t shaped to my personal preference but she tried her best and I appreciated it. And Kim who performed my eyebrow wax was equally satisfactory and quite a joy to chat with as well. I dug it there. I’m happy with the prices, the results, and I will put it on my list of salons for a mani/​pedi for sure!
