Amazing detail and superb performance. Yeah you’ll get that here. I went to West Glen barbershop and that guy doesn’t know how to cut hair. Asked him for a high taper blend and came out with a bowl like cut and a messed up back. At velmas they fixed really nice and will always go there now.

Nothing fancy… just a straight men’s cut without the high prices of a boutique stylist, flash of the LA brand chains, emasculation of woman’s salons and the incompetence of the cheap Supercuts. You get what you pay for. but, at Vilma’s Cuts… you seems to get a little more for your $ 8. Try it! I dare you…

I’ve cut my hair with Vilma for about 15 years, you cant beat her prices and her cuts are great. I now take my kids to her.

Went to Vilma’s for the first time today based on the recommendation of a couple of friends. I had heard that there might be a little bit of a language issue since I don’t speak Spanish, but one lady was able to tell my person how I wanted my hair, and it came out just like I wanted it. This is definitely a no-frills little barber shop, but that is what I like. What I did appreciate was the fact that the stylist/barber took her time and made sure everything was just perfect. I got much better service than I ever expected on an $ 8 haircut. I still love Executive Cut and Shave in Canoga Park, but now that I live in NoHo, that is just too far to drive! Vilma’s will be my go-to place from now on!

Vilma is simply the best in town. She’s been my only barber since way back in the day when she was in Glendale. I come here to look fresh every week. I recommended her to all of my friends and now they all come here too. Only downside is that she gets busy sometimes and you have to wait a little bit, but it’s worth it. If you want the best, you need to be patient sometimes ;)

Vilma is definitely the best! I’ve been cutting my hair with her ever since she used to be in Glendale. She cuts your hair for a reasonable price but its as if you paid $ 50! She’s the best you will not be disappointed!

Wow, Vilma and her employees sure know how to cut men’s hair for only $ 8!!!(I know what a bargain!)The shop itself is quiet small and you will probably miss it driving by. But the place is always packed! They have guys who come In and wait over 15 – 20 minutes just to get their hair cut here. It’s not just the price of the cut but the quality. My husband has been a regular at this shop for about three years now. I’ve personally been here a couple times and not once have I seen a bad haircut. If you’re in need of a barber Vilmas the one for you! Long hair short hair she don’t care loll she will take care of you.

Best of the best… I’ve been going to Vilma since 2000. Walk-ins are welcome but its a good idea to call for an appointment.

This is great place to get a haircut. its a very simple place that packs a crowd. Vilma is great at what she does and this is the reason why I have been going to her for the past 15+ years. Getting a good tight taper is the best feeling for a man. it renews our confidence and not to mention keep us looking tidy. This place caters to the family and is very friendly. I get done with my fades within 15 – 20 minutes. there are many restaurants surrounding the area since it is in downtown Burbank. Very good area with pleasant people and is close to the mall. Thanks Vilma!!!

This tiny haircut shop in downtown Burbank is easy to miss when driving by. Trust your nav system, park, and look for the hallway that is Vilma’s cuts. Upon entering, feelings of claustrophobia may set in but will be alleviated upon exit with a dose of cheapacillin. Cuts start at $ 8, untouchable pricing in an area that has as 1:1 ratio of Starbucks to Fantastic Sams. Open 7 days a week for heathens who wish to ditch church and their long locks.
