Empire Electronics Computer Centers

So I have one of those Imacs that are infamous for its video card going out. Called norman and he told me to bring it in early in the morning. After about 2 hours hanging out with norman, we booted it up and as good as new. let me tell you, this shop is no apple store in presentation but I highly doubt any apple genius can compare to the amount of knowledge that norman had about my older computer. As far as pricing goes he is ¹⁄₅^th the price of any other repair shop. A+ definitely recommended.

I’ve been seeing Norm since he repaired my Mac computer software. He is seriously a wizard and has a big heart and truly loves electronic. If you give him a heads up and not mind the mess of his shop, he will take care of you. He has helped me with multiple computers and phone and I won’t go to anyone else ever!

I had two six year old all in one PC’s I just wanted upgraded ram on for my toddlers to play around on. All the other repair shops wouldn’t touch them and tried to sell me new systems. This guy understood what I needed and was able to do the job and saved me a boat load of money. He’s a real techy and would probably give McGyver a run for his money.
Great little shop. The guy is both apple and PC certified. He’s been around a long time and will talk your ear off but he gets the job done. The shop is pretty unorganized and messy but he’s not a money hungry corporation. This is how business use to be done 25 years ago for computers (and many other things). I recommend you experience this to blast back to the good old days.
Should mention that he has a small shop on the back side of a veteran club office. So park in the back parking lot and hes the first office on the right when you enter.

My first experience with Empire was quite a few months ago and i forgot to put up a review. My mom had bought a new computer and needed to transfer the info from the old harddrive to the new one since the usb ports had gone out of the old computer before we could remove the data ourselves. We had been quoted 70.00 and a weeks time from staples. My parents couldnt be without the computer for that long. We called empire and he had us bring in the computer the same day and we got it back the same day.
We paid him in coffee from grand central bakery (plus we later learned he likes the cinnamon roll too) and a BIG tip.
Yes the shop is a bit crowded but dont let that fool you, he does great work, he is a retied engineer and this is his hobby. I am now having problems with my e-​machine and will go to him ASAP.

If you are looking for someone that is going to give you a deal this is your guy!
As the other reviewer stated his shop is a little cluttered. I originally was a little hesitant but won’t be in the future.
I called Normand at 11:30 asking if he could install a graphics card for me. I know nothing about hardware and he joked that he would do it for a cup of coffee. I brought in my PC and the graphics card at 12:15… at 12:30 I was on my way home. He didn’t try to sell me anything or tell me I needed to buy anything, he just slapped the card in, downloaded the drivers and checked it to make sure it worked before telling me he was all set. He wasn’t even joking about the cup of coffee. I asked what I owed him and he asked if I had $ 5 on me. I gave him a 20 for dropping what he was doing and helping me out really fast. Great Guy who isn’t in the business to screw you!!!

His shop may be clattered with computer parts all over the counter and floors. He’s walking around with bear feet and it may surprise you a little. But he will take care of your computer better than other places and it’s very affordable. My laptop would not start Windows and my online research came up with no solution. I reluctantly decided to pay somebody to fix it. I’m glad to find him in my neighborhood. He spent a few days to fix my laptop and yet he only charged for 1−½ hours worth of labor charge that you could normally get from other shops. Thanks, Norm!
