Quiet little dive bar a bit off the beaten path. Needs updating but if you’re into darts or pool and that is your main reason for being out and about then this is a good location. Tables and boards are usually available and the staff reasonably friendly but not hanging over you all night.

I probably wouldn’t seek this place out if i didn’t live in the area, but i live a few blocks away and it does the job. Nothing special, but they do have a pretty decent draft selection(micros & lagers) and they have decent enough spirits. This is a real working class bar and not some hipster version of a working class bar a la Georgetown. It can be rough around the edges, but it can also be a really good time.

So here’s one of several reasons I will not be going back to Wayne’s World Tavern: On this particular night, I was by myself and had things to do and only wanted to get one drink and go. They have Manny’s on tap, so I order a pint. Keep in mind that this is a dive bar south of Boeing Field, not a New York airport bar or El Bulli. The bartender apologetically explained that pints were $ 6! But mini-pitchers, she added, were only $ 7. So I’m all for heavy drinking, but what kind of dive bar won’t sell beer in any increments smaller than 32 ounces? Do they get kickbacks from the Tukwila PD for each DUI? «She [the owner] says that pints are hard to pour,» the bartender explains. This was at about 10:30 on a Friday night and there were about seven people in the place.

«Party on, Wayne.» «Party on, Garth.» This might come first to mind for my generation, but the bar is apparently named after the bar owners husband’s favorite gun slinging hero John Wayne. Bang… bang… Anyways, the bar is close to the 128&132 bus stop where you can get a quick jello shot or hang out and by a pitcher of beer and play pool for $ 5/hr. or hit up the long wall of dart boards.

I love a good«divvy» bar and Wayne’s World is it! A little tired around the edges but friendly people, really great food and good beer. Have always felt comfortable there, not threatening. Usually go over in the late afternoon during happy hour so have not been there at night.

Great dive bar in Boulevard Park, complete with pool tables, darts, crusty locals, and dusty sports memorabilia. Drinks are reasonably priced, and their bar food is actually pretty tasty.
