After nearly 5 years of braces, COUNTLESS appointments to the orthodontist, oral surgeon, cosmetic surgeon, general dentist, bone & gum graft surgeries, implant surgeries and oh, not to mention, nearly $ 20,000, am I satisfied with my results?
Nope!
I was referred to Dr. Gyurieza by my orthodontist. Now I understand why. They work together to increase their customer base by referring patients who are either interested or need cosmetic dentistry. Off course, a patient like myself, decided to see this doctor b/​c they «work together» and know my case well.
I’m not blaming the oral surgeon, the general dentist or anybody else EXCEPT for Dr. Gyuricza and partially my orthodontist, Dr. Rosenberg (since he referred me to this doctor). He may seem friendly and professional at first but once my problems are becoming more evident after only 3 years after I got my crowns put in… thinking back to my experience at his office, I literally despise myself for settling for the results.
Dr. Gyuricza is PASSIVE– AGGRESSIVE. I remember, after he put the crowns in, I told him I thought the crowns would be positioned better b/​c I was not too happy with them.
His response? «WELL, IT CERTAINLY IS BETTER THAN WHAT YOU HAD BEFORE» and continued to put the crowns in and refused to adjust to make them look better.
Not to mention, my mom had paid IN FULL UP FRONT. Do not do that, at least work out a monthly payment plan b/​c they would be more likely to work with you if they hadn’t been paid yet!
I’m just writing this review to warn people about doctors who say this to patients. Do NOT settle for less than what you expect. Better yet, do NOT even consider going to this doctor who even says this to patients.
