As far as laundromats go, how can you really rate a place so long as it’s clean and safe and the machines are available, clean and you don’t have to wait inordinately long for clean clothes. I don’t know about the negative reviews but we had a decent hour and some minutes here washing our vacation clothes. The bonus is free wifi and the con is a dirty toilet with an outside sink. Just use a paper towel to open the water closet door, in other words. But if you’re staying at a SFO hotel or motel and looking for a place to clean all your clothes, this is convenient and price is better than $ 9.00 per pair of pants. Eeeks! Plus the murals are cute and I like the skylights. It doesn’t get clothes cleaner faster, but at least the environment is nice. A bunch of kids obviously dragged here by mom on a Saturday morning also didn’t mind being on wifi on their tablets. Just please clean the toilet and I will give it a five star as far as coin op laundromats go!

It’s 11PM on a Sunday night, and you’re running out of clean clothes after several busy days in the Bay Area. The hotel only has an expensive laundry service, so you search Unilocal for the nearest laundromat. The reviews seem good enough, and you’re greeted with the smell of fabric softener and a friendly sign saying FREEWIFI. Awesome, right? Sadly, our experience ended early because both bill breaking machines were out of service and we didn’t happen to have $ 10 in quarters. Stay tuned for my next review of the next place we try on our inadvertent laundromat tour of Burlingame!

It gets the job done, but the place is pretty grimy. The owners of this joint don’t seem to care much about the condition of the laundromat. There are hand-written, scolding signs everywhere, dirty floors, and disgusting furniture that borders on dangerous(bench that’s about to crack, couch that’s probably got HPV). Customers range from friendly working class folk to gross looking obese people. The owners just don’t seem to take much pride in the operation here. I’ve seen one operator come to collect quarters from the machine, and he just seems in a rushed, bad mood. The prices seem a bit steep too. I think the prices would be justified if the atmosphere of this place were more pleasant. On the plus side, the machines work well overall, and there is always change in the quarter machine.

Laundromats are one of those places that barely get any attention in the Unilocal world. Let’s face it, we all hate the cumbersome task of laundry but when we need to do it in huge loads, we need places like this. Nothing spectacular, but it’s nice that they have WiFi, a TV, snacks and a massage chair to make the process a little more entertaining. The place is well cared for and their machines seldom have problems. I just wish their couch wasn’t so dinky, but then again they’re close enough to Broadway so I usually end up going to Starbucks to kill time. If you need a laundromat in Burlingame, this place is the better pick.

Nothing fancy… This place is just like any other laundromat out there. They have WiFi and a TV. Also, it’s a 5 minute walk to Broadway in Burlingame, so you can get a beer at Behan’s while you wait for your clothes to dry. The dryers are $ 0.25 for 6 minutes, but they’re hot and fast. There’s plenty of room to sort your laundry as well.

I’ll be honest — I only went to this place when Mrs. Bubbles laundromat was recently closed due to a fire(Mrs. Bubbles is closer to my apt.). But now, I’m a regular here! And a pretty big fan! They have a great selection of machine sizes — even really big ones to wash bulky camping gear like multiple sleeping bags, snow jackets/pants, etc. It’s always nice and bright here, and I swear, every time I’ve been here there’s been an employee cleaning the place(and I’m here at very diverse time-frames). They have vending machines here: beverages, snacks and laundry materials. They also have arcade games, incl. the big claw/stuffed animal one! They have a ceiling mounted television with remote control, a couch and two internet-ready desktop computers available for use(free wi-fi too). Within walking distance from Broadway Ave. so you can head over to do some quick errands at Walgreens or grab a coffee at Starbucks or Le Croissant Café, or do grocery at EarthBeam(or grab ice cream at Preston’s)! One caveat: one time, we witnessed someone changing their baby’s diaper on the metallic folding tables. I recommend you bring biodegradable cleaning wipes to clean surfaces before you place freshly cleaned laundry on them.

For a mostly-affluent city, Burlingame sure does have a lot of laundromats and cleaners. I don’t know if Burlingame Laundromat is the best, but it’s pretty good: clean, everything works, wifi, et cetera. I’d give them four stars, but I’ve never been able to contact anyone who actually works there. The phone number goes to an answering machine with a friendly recording, but nobody ever calls back. Still, so long as everything works, that’s not so bad.

I’m not used to Laundromats in general but this place takes the pain out of watiting for your laundry-that’s for dam sure. It’s still $ 2.75 for a 25 lbs. washer, $ 4.75 for the 35 lbs. and $ 5.50 for the behemoth ginormous size so I can basically shove two weeks of laundry in a high efficiency for a decent price. They do have an old squishy, dirty couch, puzzle bobble, a driving game, a pin ball machine, one of those mechanic arm games where you try to get the stuffed animal and 2 computers with internet access, a t.v. with cable, and free wi-fi for your laptop. Pretty nice for just a laundromat. It’s never crowded, it’s open late(for Burlingame) and the people are quiet and respectful. I’ve never heard anything bad about this place and although it’s a bit pricey, Jordan A. is right-it’s Burlingame.

My local wash & dry, far better than the one in my building I’ll tell you that much. A variety of washing machine sizes and industrial sized dryers that are always open for use, got to love that convenience. No waiting for dudes to hurry and unload their clothes for me. A dinky but comfy couch in front of a TV set equipped with digital cable and computers with Internet next to a pinball machine and 2 arcade machines(Bubble Bobble!) near 2 fully stocked vending machines and a single person restroom for everyone and anyone to use arranged in the back. The regular sized washers cost a steady $ 2.50 a load, slightly bigger than regular sized washers are $ 4.50 a load, the giant stainless steel washers are $ 5.50 a load and the dryers are 6 minutes for a quarter. Its a bit pricey but it IS Burlingame. This place attracts a lot of colorful personalities. Don’t be surprised if Artie(The Strongest Man in the World) comes by with Mr. Tastee washing their unmentionables.
