I was disappointed today. Came for a dye. I had made an appointment with Eileen, got there 10 mins early waited just a little bit then Doris does my dye. Sorry but I don’t like that. What’s the use of making an appointment, especially when I brought my husband with me whom by the way did not have an appointment and Eileen did his dye. I don’t like unlicensed people touching my hair or nails.

WORST KERATIN TREATMENT:
I went to dreams salon using a groupon for a keratin hair treatment. I’ve done keratin treatments several times in the past and I was surprised that the entire process was going to take just 1.5 hours (usually it takes 4 – 5 hours). Anyways we did the treatment and I left with a nice blow dry which I left in my hair for 4 days. When I washed my hair in a Sunday it was as if there was no treatment in my hair at all! My hair was as frizzy and rough as before, not smooth and soft as promised! I called the owner today (On Monday when i called they told me she was out) who said that I could come in for a repeat but I was leaving for trip abroad for a month and she said that she could only do it today as the guarantee was only for a week. I have NEVER had to repeat keratin treatment for them not having worked! Will never go back to this salon again.

I am very particular about my hair and what products I put on it. Carmen, the owner and her ladies are the only ones I allow to touch my hair. They are so gentle, and use organic products that don’t damage your hair. I always let them work their magic on my hair and always come out satisfied and coming back. I especially enjoy how they don’t rush with you, are attentive and listen to their customers! I have been a loyal customer for years because finding a hairstylist that knows your hair is hard to find! If you are in the area check them out! You will come out happy and your hair will be looking fabulous and healthy!

I had a wedding today and went into Dreams Salon for a Blow out done by Carmen. I looked amazing and loved it! My next appointment will be for a Brazilian Blow out. The salon was great and everyone was very friendly and nice.

I love this place! Carmen is the only person who I let work on my hair. She does a fantastic job and gave me the color I wanted. I got the brazilian treatment whjch reAlly made my hair shiny. Highly recommended!

Rating is actually between 3.5 and 4 stars. I came here for the organic Keratin treatment advertised on Groupon. Carmen took care of me and was very nice. She did a great job trimming my hair and also gave me a complementary full size shampoo and conditioner. She also talked to me extensively about hair thinning and let me try (and take home) a trial product. I do believe she really had my best interests at heart and wanted me to be happy. The only problem is I’ve gotten Keratin many times and I didn’t see great results after. They didn’t spent much time in total with the Keratin that I have had in the past. I didn’t wash my hair for 4 days even but I still had waviness and less than 2 weeks after have to use my flat iron again. This is disappointing because usually Keratin lasts over 4 months in my hair because my hair has very minor waviness. She did comment that she thought the Brazilian blowout would be better but it’s much more expensive. Not sure if I would return for straightening treatments but I would go back for a cut and any other hair advice.

I absolutely LOVE my new hair! I have a lot of naturally curly/​unruly hair and have a very difficult time finding anyone who can successfully do something with it. I ended up trying to find some type of keratin treatment on Groupon and came across a killer deal for this salon. I was a little apprehensive, but then checked out there Unilocal reviews, and decided to give it a go. I couldn’t be happier. I have amazing smooth and shiny hair that is cut way better than I ever expected. I will admit I am somewhat hard to please when it comes to my hair, but Carmen and her team did an amazing job. The salon was nice and clean, and they had me in a chair about 30 seconds after I walked in. I have already recommended them to my friends and I just got my hair done this afternoon. I have already gotten a TON of compliments, which hasn’t hurt. I am already looking forward to going back for my Brazilian! I highly suggest you check them out!!!

So I hadn’t done anything to my hair in a looong time. I came to Dreams Hair salon and Carmen did my hair. I wanted to go lighter but wasnt sure exactly how light. Carmen was super helpful and friendly, plus I love the fact that they use organic products and bleach that doesnt damage your hair.
I got a hair color and highlights, plus a treatment so I didn’t have to get a trim. My hair looked healthier than when i came in.
I’m super happy and will definitely make this my official go to salon.

Dreams Salon makes your dreams come true!
I came in today with a picture of how I wanted my hair and it was exactly what I got. Carmen is amazing, she knows her stuff and is very passionate about what she does and pays attention to detail. I was so nervous coming in at first, my hair was very damaged and I was worried about the chemicals. I came in for some highlights and a hair cut. I was scared of getting highlights due to past experiences and also because of the bleach, however, the products Carmen uses at her salon are AMAZING! The dye and bleach did no damage to my hair at all, my hair looked much healthier and shiny, and the products used didn’t have a strong scent. I believe the products were organic, they smelled of fruits for some reason. This place is great! Love Love Love my hair, I haven’t been this pleased with my hair in a long time, and look forward to future hair appts here!

Dreams Hair Salon is definitely a must-​have experience!
About three weeks ago my car battery died as I’m heading to class. I remembered it raining outside as I’m struggling to find help at 9:30 in the morning. Luckily the gentleman in the salon offered to jumped my car for me as a kind gesture that I really appreciated. I asked if he worked at the salon, and he mentioned that it was owed by his mother. I promised to visit as a token of my appreciation!
Low and behold, I came in today and met with the lovely Racky Worsham. She’s super cute and extremely knowledgable. As a first timer– the salon has a deal for a haircut, wash, and style all for $ 45 (originally $ 65)! What a steal!
Racky was great throughout the whole process. She was attentive to my needs from the very beginning. During the wash she even gave my hair some protein treatment that made it extremely soft and shiny (it should last a week she said). Afterwards she consulted to me about what I was looking for. I just needed a trim and motioned to her exactly how much I wanted to have cut off (½−1 inch) with side swept bangs. Now I’m very particular with the shape of my hair and how I wanted it and she delivered ABOVE AND BEYOND. Racky is very well knowledgable in her area of expertise and even went on to give me tips on how to maintain my hair, and even recommended tips on maintaining it.
Now I know too many hair stylists that, for the most part I would understand, take great pride in their profession. This is great and all, but sometimes that confidence can turn into arrogance, and they usually compromise what the client ask. I usually have stylists who think that it’s ok to cut more than what I ask for a basic trim (maybe they get a high from being too «scissor happy»). Not Racky! She shaped my hair while maintaining my length– a feat I was absolutely and pleasantly surprised at. She really catered to me, and found herself a new client in the process. Racky is very personal, relatable, careful, and mindful about you as a individual. She takes the time to connect.
At the end she even mentioned further deals on Groupons coming up for keratin treatments. She hooked it up with samples for me to try, and offered me products if I referred friends (which I definitely will). Don’t be timid because there are three salons on the street! Give Dreams a try and you won’t be disappointed!
P.S my boyfriend LOVED the way the haircut looks and smell :)

Dream salon is the best! Carmen and her team are just amazing. I used to go to the San Bruno location quite often, but since I’ve moved to the east bay my visits to dream salon are minimal, however no matter how bad my hair is (or dead), Carmen can always bring it back to life. She’s also great with colors.

If you would like to enjoy the full salon treatment, this is your place! They take their time, you are not rushed, Everyone I have sent there calls me the minute they leave the salon to tell me how much they love their hair, the staff, and the pampering! For a Burlingame hair salon the prices are great! The products they use are top of the line. Do your self favor check in out!

A good 2 weeks after my original post I got a private message from the owner apologizing on behalf of the person they hired to advertise and offering me a complimentary service. I can certainly appreciate a business recognizing a wrong and taking steps to fix it. I won’t take them up on the offer because the whole situation would just be awkward if I came in as that-​girl-​who-​felt-​her-​car-​was-​violated to get my hair did… but I do appreciate the gesture and think it certainly warrants kudos.
I think it only fair to also mention that I contemporaneously received a very huffy private message from Osman C. (who took the time to post a response here, too) reprimanding me for writing a bad post. Funny that the messages should both come so close in time… not to mention this is the only post Osman C. has ever written. Coincidence? Probably not. I’m sure he’s an owner, employee, or somehow otherwise affiliated with Dream Hair Salon based on his knowledge of the company and how ruffled his feathers got. I actually considered not bumping up my rating because of Mr. Osman C.
But, at the end of the day, the owner’s offer wins over Osman C.‘s attempt to chastise me. I’ll retract my 1 star rating and increase it to a 3, seeing as the owner was kind enough to try and rectify the situation and vows not to let it happen to others.
