I was looking for a place to get my Brazilian Blowout for months. Stephanie did a great job and the staff as all friendly! Still can’t say much about maintenance bc I just got it done, but so far so good!

Cindy is an amazing hairstylist. Love my haircut I got from her a few months ago and came back for ombré, which was fabulous too! Definitely book her early so you can get an appt! She is also great company to talk to while you’re getting your hair done!

My co-​workers hair looked so amazing that I asked her where she goes and she directed me to Mia Bella ‘Ask for Cindy’ she said. So I did and I’m so glad I did. I had a color and a Brazilian blowout which has been awesome. It’s been about a month and my hair is still behaving lol. I’m going today for a touchup on my grays that seem to be predominately around my face hairline — oh joy! Anyway, Cindy really knows her stuff and I completely trusted her which I don’t regret. I finally found someone who can do my hair!!!

Came here for the first time to get highlights, lowlights and touch up my base color. Was recommended by a friend to come here and she told me that Cindy does a great job. I was not disappointed with how my hair turned out. They have excellent service at Mia Bella and I will definitely be coming back!

Cindy made it very easy to trust her. I let her take the wheel and she took all of my concerns into consideration when determining what was the best cut. I felt well taken care of and valued as a customer. I definitely will be coming back. I think I found my hair guru!

This is the 2^nd time that Cindy has colored my hair. I must admit, both times turned out great! I recently got a balayage and a haircut, perfect for the summer. I wasn’t exactly sure what I was going for before my appointment, but Cindy guided me through the entire process. She also gave me tips on how to manage freshly dyed hair. I would definitely recommend Cindy to anybody who wants to experiment with their hair.

After living in San Mateo for over five years, I finally found a stylist I like. Go see Steph! She is a good listener and pays attention to detail. I’ve been going to her for over a year and a half now and I’m really happy.

I finally love my hair! Cindy and Stephanie do an amazing job. I never did much with my hair cause I’m lazy, but now it has so much more volume and style, even for the lazy girl I am! And been to almost every famous salon to cut or color my hair and I wasn’t happy until I found Mia Bella… Cindie and Stephanie are amazing people they have such great services and patience. Highly recommend Cindy at Mia Bella. First went to her as I noticed another school Mom’s gorgeous haircut. Cindy is a super quick cutter and makes you feel very comfortable. Have always loved my hair after getting a cut there.

I LOOOOOVE THIS PLACE! The ladies are so nice and their act of kindness is very welcoming! Their place is small but very nice. It’s in this building where the ground floor has a waterfall & inside seems so relaxing. The ladies took their time into getting the right color for my hair (only one color) & they give very good tips on what to do in other for my hair to stay that color. Looks good for my interview that I have up next :)

Very disappointed. Went in here for a brazilian blowout which seems to not have lasted after my First hair wash. my hair is back to how it was prior to the Brazilian blowout. This isn’t the first time I am doing a Brazilian blowout so I know how my hair reacts to It. The stylist did a pretty rushed job with my hair wash and massage as well. Very unhappy and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

I got a groupon for a blowout and redeemed it with Stephanie this past weekend. There were several things that bothered me about this place. First off, Stephanie was very sweet but I was there for more than 2 HOURS, just for a blowout.
I really bought this groupon for the deep cleanse shampoo and massage, but she rushed that part because she was doing highlights on another customer simultaneously. I asked her to style my hair with lots of curls. Unfortunately by the time I got to my destination, just 9 miles away, my hair was already flat and straight.
But what really made me write this was because at one point of my appointment, another lady (i think it was the owner) came up to me and told me i have breakage on my ends. I did not appreciate that comment. I took it as a very unnecessary attempt to upsell me to get a haircut since I came in with a prepaid groupon.

Cindy is the the BEST! I was first introduced to Mia Bella in San Bruno a few years ago, and my hair was colored and cut by one of the Phun sisters. Since then, I’ve cheated on them and gone through random hair stylists simply for the convenience. I was thrilled to find that Cindy opened her own boutique salon locally, and I remembered she was the sisters’ mentor. I trusted her before she even touched my hair because she was the one who the stylists consulted with before they begin their magic. Cindy did color correction on my hair, pushed back her appointments on my behalf, and on my second visit, she did an amazing settle ombré and cut. She always share her knowledge with me during the process and consulted with me during decision making. I already booked my next appt with her in 3 months because I’m not going anywhere else! Thank you for the amazing transformation Cindy!

I normally go to the San Bruno location but I was excited to find a location closer to home. OMG Cindy had a free appointment! Yep book me now!
Cindy owns Mia Bella and taught all of the stylists that work under her. She has serious hustle and is really fun to talk to. (Imagine your really out there cousin or super cool auntie.) She wasn’t afraid to be real with me about my hair and how to make it look its best. Meanwhile she tamed my hair and made it fabulous. Now I understand why she’s booked two months in advance.
This location is very small, as in there’s only two stylist chairs. Still it’s very cute and you can always meet up for a date ahemSEPHORAahem when you’re done. If you’re down for a more intimate hair styling experience I would go here. Since fewer people can fit in the room it makes your haircut that much more intimate.

What can I say, I absolutely love going to Mia Bella Boutique in Burlingame and always look forward to getting my hair cut by Cindy. You can immediately tell that she’s a true professional and coupled with her invigorating personality, there’s never a dull moment.
When I first came to see Cindy, she was very consultative and made sure she took time to understand what I wanted. I loved my new cut and appreciated that she shared some tips on how to take care & style my hair. Do yourself a favor and go see this girl, she’s the bomb!

I love Cindy! She’s by far the best hair stylists I’ve had! :) and is definitely a keeper! My appointment was 12:30, and I’m the type of person that goes early to an appointment, she walked in and saw me at 12:20ish, even apologized for being late, not even! Girl, I’m the one who’s early, thank you for seeing me before 12:30!
My hair has been split-​ended, damaged, and cut in all the wrong ways. Not proud. Lol, and Cindy definitely saved me! I’ve had it cut a couple years ago with Cindy, and I really liked it. And this time she did not disappoint again :)) it can be a little pricey, but hey, us girls get a haircut every 4 – 5 months, I think it’s worth it ;)
Not only is Cindy good with the haircut, but she’s really thorough in telling you how to take care of your hair and what to do when styling it! You also learn a little *thumbs up!
Parking near the area is all meter, but if you’re willing to walk a couple blocks, there’s free 2-​hour parking ;)

I use to see Cindy at her San Bruno location a few years ago, but because I lived in the East Bay and worked so much, I gradually stopped seeing her. Worst mistake ever. I started cheating on her with other «stylists» close to my job, strictly because of the convenience factor, but I was never happy with the outcome.
It’s been over a year (yikes!) since I’ve let anyone near my hair, and while looking through some old photos, I realized that I needed Cindy back in my life.
I called today to make an appointment with her, and I am super excited and really looking forward to it! She’s truly a master stylist and fantastic at what she does!
