We had some coins appraised and pawned. The young man helping us was very nice and thorough, appraising them and even going to the owner for his opinion and answering our questions about everything including the value of gold. Some of the coins he said were still spendable and not worth much. It was so refreshing to see such honesty. So, for excellent coin pawning with friendly service in a no frills atmosphere, Mr. Z’s cannot be beat. Keep up the good work guys.

I came looking for coins. A friend who collects stamps recommended the place. Regarding stamps: Seems like an extensive«search for yourself» batch of loose ones, and order by number stock is easily obtained or priced. Regarding coins: A small display of attractive rare coins mostly in 2×2 and some slabbed. A long but narrow display of cents and nickels in 2×2 holders. They seem to have most recent silver bullion coins on hand for purchase at spot price, but I was told that(bulk) silver bullion and any gold or platinum bullion from the Mint is(re)sold at the son’s store across town. There was also plentiful stock in collector’s supplies for both stamps and coins. Holders, folders, sorters, protectors of all sorts. Also on hand were a small selection of related literature, certainly the latest copy of the Blue and Red Whitman’s Catalogue.
