I’m not sure whether this location recently changed franchisees, but pretty much everything has gone south over the last few weeks since I last visited. 1) Chief amongst them is the fact that they don’t offer tasting cups anymore. In fact, there’s now a sign up front that says so. This seems like a really bad strategy for attracting customers who want to try before they buy, as well as turn existing customers away who want to sample the new flavors. 2) For whatever reason, the girl behind the counter wouldn’t scan my loyalty card for any other reason than to pay. Again, this makes no damn sense considering it’s a corporate app that should work at all locations. Don’t want to honor the program? Best find another franchise to buy. 3) Has the froyo always been 47c at the Burlingame location? I could have sworn it was at least 10%(if not 15%) less just a few weeks ago. 4) Rude, poorly trained staff. The two women giving people the stink eye at the register could benefit from some retraining. Maybe they were the franchisees? Either way, definitely not what I’ve come to expect from every single other experience I’ve ever had with the Yogurtland brand. 5) Two of the flavors were missing completely tonight. At least it narrows down my decisions considering they don’t give sample cups anymore. Overall my experience at this location on this particular night was absolutely terrible and, while I love me some Yogurtland, won’t be back to this location till the fix their problems. It’s not like they do much to welcome customers… they don’t even turn their sign on! Food: 7⁄10 Service: 0⁄10 Price: $ Atmosphere: 5⁄10

Another great visit to my neighborhood Yogurtland! Yummy flavors during this time of the year too, and of course toppings are always on point. But what made this visit more spectacular than any of my others was the great customer service I received from the two sweet ladies working the cash registers on a rainy Saturday night. I came in about 30 minutes prior to closing and was greeted with smiles and two sample cups(didn’t even have to ask!). I opted for white chocolate peppermint and pumpkin with almonds and white chocolate chips. I would’ve normally just took the yogurt to go but decided to stick around to let the rain pass a bit. The two cashiers made me feel welcome and not at all rushed to leave. One of my more pleasant experiences for sure. I will definitely be back to this Yogurtland in particular because of the awesome flavors and excellent service. Shout out to Monica and Juliana!

After being a customer for almost a year, walking into a store with estatic employees, and always having delicious yogurt always on tap, I can say I will not be returning to this establishment anytime soon. As I entered the store, the one employee was leaning against the wall oblivious of his surroundings. After filling my cup with my selection of treats I went to pay for it. I handed the kid behind the counter 2 $ 2 bills, and he refused it. He basically explained that due to store policy they can no longer accept all legal US tender. Sorry, my bottle caps are in my other pants. On top of this he refused to let me to speak to his supervisor.

This location is conveniently located in downtown Burlingame next to Safeway and Pizza My Heart. There’s plenty of parking both on the street and within the plaza. I came in on a Sunday night and lines weren’t too crazy. It’s a decent place to grab something sweet after dinner. If I had one critique, it would be that with only one person working, some of the yogurt areas were a bit messy and toppings were out. But I give it to nice girl who was working to hold down the fort.

My daughter and I come here at least three times, if not more, a week. We love the yogurt, we love all the new flavors that you come up with, but the workers are just meh! Some are bitter and you can tell they don’t like their job and some are just average BUTTHEN we walked in one night to find a new worker… DANIEL! He is AMAZING!!! He is always so happy and friendly and we are greeted the second we walk in the door with his incredibly enthusiastic, kind and truly caring personality! He makes us feel very welcomed and brightens up our evening! As a previous business owner I can tell you that this kind of employee is RARE! He truly is a gem and I can only imagine that someone will notice him and want him to work for them. You are lucky to have this kid working for you! We always look forward to seeing him! Thank you Daniel!!!

I can’t believe I just discovered Yogurtland a few months ago! Hands down my favorite yogurt ever. They offer sample cups right when you walk through the door, the flavors are all so delicious, they have a wide range of toppings, and everything is so clean! I wish there was a Yogurtland closer to SSF, but I don’t mind driving to Burlingame.

I was just here, and while I stop by for a yogurt once every week or so, tonight was different because a young man named Daniel was working. Dear Yogurtland, if you could ensure that all of your employees are as amazing as this guy, then rock on. The yogurt at Yogurtland is good, creamy And a good selection of flavors. Good toppings too. The staff is usually subpar, not too pleasant nor helpful. The solution: Daniel! This guy is great. Good energy, helpful, funny and just an absolute pleasure to deal with. I hope Yogurtland realizes what an asset an employer like this is. Keep up the great work, Daniel, any employer is lucky to have you!

Writing a review for a fro yo shop seems so bizarre, but this place deserves it. Let me start by saying that the people that work here are super-friendly! Have been helped by enthusiastic employees every time I have been in here. Fro yo is great too! Place is clean and fruit always looks fresh. There is plenty of outdoor seating here, which is also a plus!

It would be 5 stars but this is a hangout for highschoolers. I get they probably all spend $ 4 in yogurt but when you can’t even walk in without saying excuse me and pushing their backpacks out of your way, the staff should say something. Get off my lawn! Okay so once you make it inside, wonders await you, way too many flavors to try. Love how it is all labeled for allergies like gluten and preference for fat or non. Toppings are always fresh and they have a lot of fruit and nuts, my fave.

YOGURTLANDISLIFE. Whenever I walk in, I grab a couple of sample cups and sample every flavor. Although I already know what the common flavors taste like, it’s still satisfying to taste a little bit of everything before I make the final decision to go for my usual original tart. I usually get sick of the other flavors pretty quickly, but you can never go wrong with the original tart. Decorate it with some fresh strawberries, blueberries, brownie pieces, and fruity pebbles to enjoy for one. The cookie dough bites used to be my favorite too but recently, I’ve found that the cookie dough bites look very soft and lose shape very easily, causing the cookie dough bites to clump up in a sticky mess :( The main downside is that I wish there was seating with a table inside the store. They have a small bench inside and a few benches outside, but it’d be nice to have some tables as well. However, I understand space is limited, so that probably won’t happen unless they move to a bigger location.

Frozen yogurt doesn’t get any better than this! Tried different shops but yogurtland is the best by far. The flavors are spot on and all natural!!! I love how they keep introducing new flavors. That peanut butter though! Oh so delicious! The place is very clean all the time and the staff is always friendly. There’s a few benches outside so you can sit and enjoy your frozen treat in the sun.

TL;DR — 5 stars for the froyo, –1 stars for the terrible attitude, –1 for lack on indoor seating. Seriously… what has been happening in the bay area lately? Almost everywhere is teeming with these high school sophomores working with such nonchalance and indifference. The service was awful. I get it. Its raining and nobody wants to be stuck inside working. The interior was meh. Floors were clean but there were small piles of yogurt in the catch trays. It looked pretty messy. Also, we were definitely not greeted, even though the store was empty. The girl that was helping me had such an attitude. I wasn’t sure if she was ready since she was chatting with her coworker, so I just stood in line and waited till she noticed me. A minute later, once she was done talking, she turned me to and shifted her weight onto one leg and just cocked her head at me like I was bothering her. Oh, sorry. She weighed it bowl and when I went to grab my rewards card, she sighed pretty loudly. Ok… Then I wasn’t sure if I got my card back and when I asked, the terrible attitude reared its ugly head. «Uhhhh… ya.» Oh. And I didn’t get a spoon. Her coworker noticed and just threw it into my cup. Thanks! Hope you succeed just as much at your future jobs!

Immediately after posting my original review, the current owner got in touch with me to see if he could resolve my issue. The employee at the store had accidentally given me outdated info to contact the owner. The current owner apologized for the incident and made things right. This was, in the end, excellent customer service; I will definitely resume going to this Yogurtland location. The froyo was never in question, and now neither is the service. Thanks!

UPDATE: I heard from Yogurtland HQ who let me know the mopping/drying policies have been addressed and they spoke with the employees involved. This shows that positive things can come from a negative experience. Reflecting, perhaps I took the employees response the wrong way. We are all human and we ALL make mistakes so I accept some responsibility if he was in fact not giving a smartass response. Bottom line: Yogurtland recognized a flawed process and not only changed it but let me know they care enough to do so. For that I am grateful and will remain a loyal Yogurtland customer. Hats off to both the local and national level for making a positive move to improve safety. Thank you.

Thank you yogurt land for being so yummy and bringing happiness to my tummy! Although the the workers kind of suck, the fro yo makes up for all of that! Amazing flavors to choose from and yummy toppings to top it off. Loved it!!!

Love this place! From the flavors to the toppings! It’s always delicious and a great pick-me-up while catching up with a friend. The only minus is that the cashiers are so STINGY over the sample cups, as if it’s coming out of their pocket! Sheesh.

THISLOCATIONISALWAYS A MESS! No matter what time my husband and I go this place is a disaster. We recently went there were no other customers, and yet the toppings station looked like a gaggle of kindergarteners had come in and had a finger painting session with the cookies and fruits. It didn’t look sanitary and since the employees were just standing around it made little sense why it hadn’t been cleaned up. This location seems to hire the usual high schoolers to man the cash register, which is fine, but they always have their«I wish I weren’t here» attitude on in full force. Getting a sample cup from one of them makes me feel like I am their mom that’s just asked them to clean up their rooms — nothing but ‘tude. I’ll of course be back because it’s a convenient location, but please(literally) clean up your act. Ick!

I love Yogurtland but this location isn’t as great as others I’ve been to… — The store is small. There isn’t much seating available. — The scanner for paying with the Yogurtland app was broken when I visited. I had to read all the barcode numbers to the cashier. I do like that there’s a rooftop garden nearby though! Just go up the stairs next to Yogurtland and there are a bunch of benches you can sit on while enjoying your yogurt. Not sure if this would make such a good seating area if it’s raining or windy though…

Considering my inordinate number of checkins here, I suppose it’s time for an update! Much of what I wrote in my initial review is still true — except for the summer promo. Last year it was Looney Toons, so there’s no guarantee it’ll actually be Hello Kitty again. That said… it’s totally my favorite yogurt in the area. Harmony’s completely gone, so there are no other local competitors for Best Plain Tart. For flavor, consistency, and tartness, Yogurtland’s the one. They still have some really fantastic flavors… and keep coming out with them! Keep an eye out for Guava Grapefruit Sorbet and Root Beer Float(which I hope returns soon!). They talk about how their flavors are«real» and they really do taste real. The people working here are friendly. They know my «lid, no spoon» routine(I usually bring it home). If you’re looking for froyo, this is the spot.
