It’s almost impossible to write just one paragraph about Brooke’s educated healing talents. I worked with her for approx one year and was amazed at the vast knowledge, skill and heart she gave to me and my problem. It was an oasis of relief to be in her presence. I’ve been going to Brooke weekly since she started at Vt Community Acupuncture in July. She has helped me so much! I’ve gone through some very tough times, both physically and emotionally, and I find her to be a truly gifted practitioner. She has a wonderful combination of knowledge and intuition, and the communication skills to ask the necessary questions in an empathetic and trustworthy manner. As acupuncture is relatively new to this country, quite often I am faced with skepticism from people, both those who are close to me and those I meet in passing. To them, I always relay the story of how, on one of my first appointments, Brooke was checking my pulse. When she was done, she asked if I had had any kidney issues or been going to the bathroom more often than usual during the night. This was right in the middle of one of the hot spells this summer, and I HAD been going more frequently, but chalked it up to the fact that I’d been drinking lots of water and am getting older. I’ve also had 16 kidney stones surgically removed, and had never mentioned that before. The fact that she was able not only to tell that but also treat the condition was a mind blowing experience for me. Couple that with the fact that every time I leave a treatment with Brooke, I am more relaxed than I have ever been, and you have a sincere and lifelong believer in me. Just ask anyone I know… I haven’t shut up about the positive change Brooke’s treatments have made in my life– she’s the best!
