My wife and I brought meat from this place, in July which was dated for July, put it in the freezer, opened it today to cook this meat and it was Bad «…I checked all of the other meat that she brought that day and it was bad also… to the people here in Burlington nj, Don’t buy your meat from this place, I REPEAT DON’T YOUR MEAT FROM THIS PLACE…8/13/15

You’ll need a coat to shop in here. Seriously it’s that cold. But it’s a meat market, so that’s expected. Employees are the most welcoming. Probably because they’re freezing! Every now and then you’ll see meats marked with an orange/​yellow sticker «managers special. Anything besides the meat is super expensive. A box of white rice was about $ 5. No thanks. But it’s convenient to those living in Château Court Apartments across the street. Nearest supermarket is about a ten minute drive. The beef breakfast sausage is pretty good. I usually buy my chicken and pork chops here. Butchers are friendly though and helpful.

When we first move to South Jersey, this was close by, had great fresh meats & prices. Thru the years, quality got worse & worse. I remember going with my mom food shopping and as soon as you stepped in door, you can smell Blood, shouldn’t meat shop NOT have that smell, like the smell of not cleaning it up-​smell, course when I was smaller, wasn’t thinking salmonella poisoning, etc. the areas where the meat was, leaking not sanitary at all. I remember going back, recently just as bad, took one step in, one step OUT! Ewppph. No way !!!
