This ice skating rink was nice when I was growing up, but not anymore. Sure there are minor things like old rental skates with no skate blades and a rub down snack bar but the bathrooms will make you run. The halls outside the bathrooms and the restrooms themselves smell like mold! Countless times I and others have said things to management and employees and nothing is done. Such a disappointment!

This is by far one of the nicest skating rinks that I’ve ever been to. It was a very short drive from Burlington’s North End area and was located adjacent to the Leddy Park. They waved the $ 4 parking fee because we weren’t there for the park, but the rink and once we parked we made our way over to the ‘stick and puck’ event which takes place every Sunday from 2:30 to 4:30PM. It enables anyone with a hockey stick, glove, helmet and puck to skate and shoot on a net alongside fellow hockey peeps, for just $ 5. The quality of the ice at the rink was one of the best I’ve skated on and it was a lot of fun. The rink itself was impressive and well built. There’s plenty of space for the spectators and the facilities are clean. It also doesn’t smell bad in there which is a plus. The benches for the hockey players were long and spacious and the boards were clear. All in all, this arena is pretty much as good as it gets. I would love to go there again at some point. Maybe on my next trip there?

They have shows, lessons and open skate. There are lots of free outdoor fun near by: tennis courts, a playground, basketball court, baseball field, beach and much more. There is a fee sometimes for parking in the summer time. I think it is $ 4.
