My husband and I have seen Dr. Richardson for many years, and highly recommend him and his staff. He is thorough, unhurried, and interested in helping his patients understand our eyes. We discuss how they work (and don’t), diagnostic procedures, options, medication effects — anything we want to know.
He has come in on a Sunday when I called him, in pain. (He also made the pain go away, which the emergency room doctor didn’t.)
We don’t worry about whether to see an ophthalmologist instead of an optometrist, because he has given us referrals on the two occasions when there was a reason to do so.
I wish all my medical folks were more like him!

The «wild man» Dr Richardson has been my eye doctor for about 4 years now. He takes time to get to know you and do a very thourough exam, so be prepared to be in the office for a while, usually an hour or more.
