Relative to other options in the area, this is a 5 star establishment. Good ambience, fair prices, and a draft selection beyond light beers and Yuengling puts it above anything else until 35 minutes west in State College.

We usually go on crab night. The staff is always friendly and the margaritas are excellent. Some menu items are better than others. Love the scallops and Angry Shrimp. Chili is also very good.

Food was very tasty. Tuesday night special is $ 1 off all fajitas which prompted me to try one – I got the buffalo chicken fajitas and boy was it good. Very large portion as well. Staff was friendly and the setting was neat. Guy at the front desk of the hotel told me it was on the pricey side, which leads me to believe he’s kind of a cheapskate. I mean, this place has all you can eat wings for 8 bucks on Monday nights. whatta deal! I’d recommend this place fer sure.

Went there for Super Bowl. Wings were on special. They were really good and had a lot of variety of flavors. I would recommend JP’s to others.

I’ve been here before and haven’t reviewed. It’s Monday night and it’s $ 8 wing night. Excellent wings, properly done. Tried medium and the Jack Daniel’s wings. The Jack wings were kind of sweet, so back to medium for third order. Mediums were hot enough. There’s a snow storm at the moment and there were still s good number of people in the restaurant. Crowd ranged from people after work to couples to a table of teenage girls and one middle aged academic reading a history of Cold War politics with wing sauced. blue cheesed fingers. This is convenient to the two hotels in town, so I’ll certainly be back even without $ 8 wings. Good micro draft selection. Friendly waitress.

Absolutely terrible experience. We were a party of 27, we had ONE waitress. Service took forever, some people were finished eating before others even got their food. I got rockfish with broccoli. The fish had some kind of yellow goo on it that smelled like sour milk, and the broccoli was raw. I should have sent the whole thing back. I complained about the broccoli telling her I thought it would be cooked. She said«oh» and offered nothing — no comp, no replacement. Like I said, should have just refused the whole meal, it was terrible. And, the sour whatever it was had me on the toilet at 1am.- petty much as expected. Complete ripoff.

FORVISITORSTOCENTRALPA: Mifflin County(and the rest of central PA) is a culinary desert. There are no 4 or 5 star restaurants. JP Edwards is no exception. Had too many experiences here of a good piece of meat being ruined but a lousy cook. Probably safe with a salad, something off the apps menu, or a burger and fries. No consistency with the food. FORCENTRALPARESIDENTS: Awesome. I lived in the area for over a decade and the only really good restaurant was Reedville Seafood Company which is now closed. Miss you, Bart. The wife and I would go to State College to dine out which is still not a culinary mecca but certainly better than the MC dining scene.

Probably the best restaurant in Mifflin County. Don’t go on wing night though(Mondays). It gets ridiculously filled with high school kids. The food is all pretty good. I’ve never had anything bad. i’m originally from Lewistown and know this is one of the only«hip» and not disgusting places to hang out and get a drink. I always come here to watch Pens games when I’m staying at my parents. I would recommend the pulled pork sandwich.
