Not sure how it happened, but I have found myself doing more and more of my grocery shopping at Byerly’s. I think it is partly due to their amazing bakery and awesome bread… But I also seem to enjoy the experience more. The store is smaller than your typical big box grocery stores. Today in particular was awesome… Granted it is Christmas Eve… I was amazed by the number of people they had working that were there to help people find what they needed for the last-minute items… And the drive up grocery pick up lane is awesome… Especially in the snow and when the parking lot might be a little slippery.

I always liked Byerly’s but twice now the bagger forgot to put a grocery item in our shopping bag. Sometimes you don’t notice it right away until you get home. I don’t know what their policy for when a customer’s item is left behind. Don’t they notice it and let the customer know?

It is 2015 Byerly’s!!! The process for a simple return/exchange should not involve the manager that is on duty AND completing paperwork.

This is the«Whole Foods» of Burnsville. The thing I like the most is the carpeting throughout the whole store and the excellent customer service. There’s quality food products although everything is a little pricey. While visiting, I found the Bakery wasn’t as fabulous as I thought. The bakery product there were good but there isn’t as wide of a selection that I would expect from a store that labels itself a «bakery». Meat selection is good. And, you really can’t beat the customer service at this grocery store.

We’ve gone to various Byerly’s over the years but this one is above and beyond the best store we’ve ever been at. It’s obvious that management takes pride in the staff, as they are very friendly and eager to help out. Cub Foods and Target may have cheaper prices but they don’t match the quality of the produce at this Byerly’s. We also appreciate the growing stock of gluten-free food. Come here to experience exactly how a good store should be run — and get some food while you’re at it! ;)

Grocery store: great! Deli: great! Bakery: blah. Sorry Byerlys! I used to love your bakery. Wish you would bring back higher quality items baked in house. Cub has better stuff. Kowalskis just blows you out of the water in this dept. But still love the store.

My favorite time of day to visit Byerly’s is about 2 pm… the lunch crowd has evacuated and the dinner shoppers have not yet realized just how last-minute their shopping has gotten ;) I love to sample the items from the deli case, they have some unique salads and hot entrees, too… plus, they are AWESOME at checking ingredients for me with all my allergens to be aware of. The holiday menus are always a good bet for the cost and the lunch bar choices make for a nice alternative to fast food in the Twin Cities. On my last grocery run, I was lucky enough to find gluten-free vanilla extract for some sweet baked goods, a great selection of Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc wines, and several varieties of dilled crudités(in jars in kosher/condiment aisles) to lay out with cheeses for a small soirée I threw together. All I needed to add was the Gavin DeGraw music and the palettes were contented that afternoon :) Cheers to Byerly’s!

Ok here’s the beef on Byerlys– they have good beef! I said it. Seafood and meat are really good an mostly fresh. Make sure you check the sign for the fish as it can be flash frozen which I personally feel affects the flavor. Deli is nice and the olive bar is the bomb(especially when they have blue cheese stuffed ones in stock) Oh and who doesn’t like carpet underfoot while shopping as well as the ability to pickup your groceries curbside. The only draw back is the price on SOME items. If they didn’t make me go to Target for reasonably priced items I would shop here or the Co Op full time.

Did you know Minnesota is known for its wild rice? Did you also know that Byerly’s is known for making the best wild rice soup in the region? The latter is false as general knowledge, but true in my heart. I really like the wild rice soup here. I’m talking the kind served in a vat-like pot at the end of the salad bar. It’s often thick and hearty with many grains in it. yum. This is just one of the many«bars» at Byerly’s. There is an olive and dessert bar, just to name a couple. This location also has other amenities including a Caribou(another Minnesota staple) and a bank. I like that Byerly’s is a fancy store but doesn’t pretend to be low-key, like Whole Foods. You’re paying a fair amount for products, but you do so in an environment that feels worth it. The place is clean and the service good. 5 stars.

Great customer service. I like the bakery. Okay, I LOVE the bakery. They have a beautiful flower collection. Go pick some out for someone you love. The prices are a bit high, but they carry a lot of gourmet and local brands. Best thing ever, the Caribou Coffee in the store.
