Panaderia La Loma

Ordered two half sheets birthday cakes for my son and daughter. They messed up the spelling of my daughter’s name. But once noticed, the chef was able to fix it without leaving any trace (what an amazing job to make a letter disappear from the middle of the cake). I was also given a discount for the inadvertent mistake (did not have to ask for it) and above all, cakes were exceedingly delicious! Both the cakes were completely eaten up by the guests at the party. Thanks for the amazing service!!!

I love this place. They make great pastries, cakes and cookies, they’re open late (until 9pm I think) and most of their stuff is not sickly sweet. They are very friendly, every thing is very fresh and priced well. Our kids love going there as well.

I stumbled upon this little Mexican bakery as a result of it being next door to my favorite fast, cheap and yummy authentic taco shop — Taqueria La Hacienda. It’s really the perfect location… how better to top off your Mexican dinner than with a Mexican pastry, no? Just walk in and grab a plastic tray (like the kind in mall food courts) ponder your selection as you investigate case after case of goodies and then use the metal tongs provided by the trays to select your lucky sweets. To be honest, none of my pastry choices have been phenomenal, but they’ve always been good enough and it’s fun to try something new. The oddest, yet yummy, thing I’ve gotten was a bread turnover filled with jalapeño cream cheese.
They also take orders for cakes — birthday, anniversary, wedding. Just order ahead and away you go.
