Worst store ever and I will never shop here again. NEVER buy a gun here ! I purchased a shotgun for sporting clays and it had a defect in the stock so I took it back and they sent it back to the manufacture. It has been 5 month now and I still don’t have it back. I have called the liberty store and they said they can’t call and check and have no idea when it will be back. They should stand behind the products they sell and call the manufacture and put pressure on them to get it back but all I get is lame customer service.

This place is legit. I was kinda skeptical at first when I heard they were moving in the Cincinnati area last year. I have always been a big fan of outdoor stores like REI, Field & Stream, and even Bass Pro Shops. So when I heard Cabela’s was coming to town I was hesitant about giving them a shot. Let me say, I’m glad I did! I am now a frequent visitor and customer there. The merchandise selection and pricing is just as good as their competitors and the staff is always very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about their products. I’m very happy a Cabela’s store is in my city, and look forward to being a long time customer!

There are times I enjoy going to the store to just walk around and look. There are also times I go to make a purchase. When I’m there looking around, I always get asked if there is anything I need help with. Keep in mind that the store, at times, can be very busy and it’s unrealistic to think there is always going to be an extra employee to try and help you, that’s just how it works in retail. When I have questions, I’ve always had an employee engage and act like they care about helping. They always answers all the questions I have and make sure I have all the information I’m looking for — this goes a long way with customers. I couldn’t be happier to have Cabela’s down the street, I plan on spending a lot of time and money with them! I’ve read some people complain about the prices, that’s just how it is in this industry and you won’t find better pricing at another big store.

First off, I will say that I don’t give reviews that are not well well-deserved. I have been a bass pro shops rewards club member and held their MasterCard for several years, and have always been loyal to that company for that reason. about three weeks ago, I decided to stop in at Cabela’s and take my new bow in to have the draw weight checked. after checking and confirming the weight the bow was currently set at, the tech(Shawn) worked with me for over 45 minutes and help me tune the bow for the new arrows I was purchasing. There were people waiting, but that did not stop him from giving me the individualized but attention and service that is so uncommon these days in big-box retail stores, even those of the outdoor enthusiast variety. After I was finished working with him, I walked immediately to the customer service counter. I handed them my best pro shops MasterCard, and ask them if they could shred it for me. I then immediately applied for a Cabela’s Club Visa. The young lady behind the counter asked why I was doing that, and I informed her that I could have the ability to spend my money anywhere, but I much prefer spending it at places who act like they are happy that I am there to spend my hard-earned money. It seems there are endless outdoor enthusiast stores popping up all around the area, and one would think that they would compete for your business. In my mind, the best way to obtain loyal customers is to treat them like you care about what it is they want to talk about, purchase, or even return. The Cincinnati Cabela’s store is obviously headed in the right direction, and I can guarantee you that I will be a long time customer of the store.

Horrible service!!! Have been in a few times now and the only thing consistent is the awful service.

I, too, am so pleased that Cabela’s chose to have a location in the Queen City area, since the only one I was able to visit in the past was the one in Wheeling, WV. I walked in with 100 bucks of birthday money burning a hole in my pocket. Also, I had purchased a Mag-Lite flashlight many years ago from Cabela’s mail order that had stopped working despite a new bulb and batteries. So I took it with me since it had the Cabela’s name engraved on the head. Well, obviously I had no receipt because it was so long ago, but I was curious to see if they would stand behind a product with their name on it. They did. I probably paid about 40 bucks for the flashlite years ago, but they no longer carry Mag-Lites because of the newer(and much lighter) LED lites. So they wound up giving me a 42.00 credit, which was pretty generous. So I bought a comfy pair of shoes and a money belt(hard to find money belts any more) Got another surprise at check-out. A 10% discount on Labor Day weekend. So I left there a happy camper(no pun intended) with plenty of money left over and will be returning often.

My husband, son and I went here for the first time last weekend. The location is nice and easy to find however it is pretty small compared to the West Virginia location even smaller than the Columbus location. But it still had all the basics you could want plus a little extra. My husband was very excited to find out that cabelas sells their own brand of tractor. But wasn’t to thrilled about there gun safe selection. I wasn’t impressed with there home décor section it was maybe two rows. They did have a deli that we are wanting to go back and try soon to get some exotic sandwiches. The West Virginia location is still our favorite but this one is much more convenient for us

So psyched Cabela’ s has come to greater Cincy! I’ve long been a fan and this store doesn’t disappoint. It’s not just fishing and hunting by any means. They have a great selection of camping/backpacking goodies, outdoor clothing, and even dog stuff! If you are at all an outdoor person but not a hunter, this store is still for you! If you do hunt or fish, obviously it’s paradise! They did an excellent job on opening day! The staff was impressively knowledgeable and even on a busy day were taking lots of time to recommend and educate about the products. Decent selection of products the company sells(from website) at this location, well laid out, and nice scenery. Their prices are competitive, especially with sales and promotions. My favorite part is the Bargain Cave — literally make a beeline for that anytime I’m at a Cabelas!
