The past two occasions I’ve come in to this location I’ve been VERY disappointed. The computers were apparently«down» so I did not get to use my rewards points either time. I also was displeased with the lack of variety. They had the whole bar of toppings but barely 4 frozen yogurt flavors available. Also, both times I came in, the SAME employee expressed verbally and physically how much they hated their job and how they could care less if their establishment received my business. It’s pretty sad considering I use to go in there at least 2 – 3 times a week. I guess I’ll just have to go to the Thousand Oaks location for now on. Very disappointed!

This yogurt isn’t my favorite. It literally doesn’t taste good. They always have the same flavors and the toppings that are either stale or not fresh. The counter is always sticky. It’s also a little pricier then yogurtland. The yogurt always bloats me as well. They do have nice people working there which made the experience better.

I love being around calabasas. It’s a beautiful place to hangout. Menchies has yummy fro-yo. I love the toppings they have and the variety of chocolate sauce. Try the fro-yo in a waffle bowl. Although they are on the higher price side.

My first time to a Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt… this seemed to be a very busy location, but the store was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly! There was a great choice of yogurt flavors as well as a huge choice of topping! Will definitely be visiting Menchie’s again!

Very small location with less variety as compared to some of the larger locations. Friendly employees, clean inside but the bathroom floor was majorly sticky! All in all, a cute little location with enough variety to satisfy my craving. Side note: They charge extra tax if you«dine in» as opposed to taking it «to go».

I just went to Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt for the first time, and I was very pleasantly surprised. It was clean and not crowded, and the young lady working there was pleasant. They had some small cups there to get free samples of the frozen yogurt. I tried a few different flavors, and the ones that I tried were all good. A couple of the flavors said that they contained anti-oxidants, so I can at least tell myself that they were somewhat healthy. Anyway, frozen yogurt is definitely healthier than ice cream. I ended up putting 4 different flavors in a regular sized cup, and it mostly filled up the cup, and it cost only $ 2.40! I didn’t put any toppings on it, but still, that was a lot cheaper than I expected. And the yogurt was excellent! The orange had a very strong, fresh taste, and so did the pomegranate, although it wasn’t quite as strong as the orange. There were some tables inside, and some tables outside with umbrellas. I sat outside, and it was pleasant. My only complaint is that they had only about 12 flavors of frozen yogurt to chose from. But they did have a large variety of toppings.

Love frozen yogurt. This Menchies is a little busy and disorganized. Perhaps because it was so busy? who knows. The prices are a little higher as well. Expect to pay about $ 1.50 more a serving than in most locations. I asked the employees about it and they sad it was because of the high rent at this location. Also the topping counter was a little messy. Normally the spoons are stored in individual holders, here they are shoved into the toppings themselves. No real big deal, only this adds to the mess on the counter. So based on the slightly higher prices, about 20% higher as the typical Menchies serving costs about $ 3.50−4.00 normally, plan on paying $ 4.50−5.00 here; coupled with the messy counters I am going with only 4-stars and could easily go 3-stars but giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Epic frozen yogurt. Good clean location with a great atmosphere, location and crowd. I have not experience an extensive line. Staff is friendly. Toppings r always full. I come here when I get a sweet tooth at the commons.

Being a fan of frozen yogurt, this is one of the better places in the areas. The flavors that they have on hand will do the job at satisfying any need. They have flavors from angel food cake, apple pie, barista blend, french toast, Irish mint, to the standard strawberry banana, or luscious lemon. There are a wide range of flavors and toppings to choose from. One of the best parts about this place, is that the flavor will satisfy you in smaller portions rather than bigger portions. Service is good, as they will serve you with a smile and answer any questions that you may have. Parking is in the commons, as it is a non issue.

Wow I used to love Menchie’s but can’t believe how dirty this store was. There was frozen yogurt dripping down and pooling in all of the machines. It was really unappetizing. I would think that the employees would walk around and check to make sure that machines stay clean since they are self-serve, which is probably the reason they are such a mess in the first place. Toppings are plentiful and I have to say I loaded up on them, because I wasn’t about to touch those machines. Since Menchie’s is located in the Calabasas Commons, there is nice outside patio seating. It is a great place for people and dog watching too!

I just love frozen yogurt, and I’;m not terrible picky about anything when it comes to it. I gave it five stars due to the convenient location in a big outdoor mall type of area, plenty of toppings, and it was clean. I always go for the plain tart flavor when I get my yogurt, but I love the sample cups, tasting a bit of everything in small portions– portion control, yo, that’s what it’;s all about right??? As for reusing sample cups, if they touch the dispenser directly, it can be a bit gross, however, I’ve reused sample cups in the past, however, I never touch any of the services, I hold the cup further down, and let the yogurt flow into the small sample cup, and quickly pop the lever back up, so it creates a small dallop, otherwise the freaking yogurt goes everywhere and it ain’t a «sample» anymore, you know? They have nuts, cookies, candies, fresh fruit as toppings, and I get the chocolate chips/or carbo chips if they have them, sometimes crushed Oreos, unless I;m really watching my carb intake(HAH), and sliced almonds(I’m so healthy and nutritious right?), and call it a day. Delicious, and love that I can make a day of it, whether movies, chilling in Barnes Noble, grabbing a coffee from Starbucks, then having a cold fro-yo treat, and perhaps lunch or dinner at Corner Bakery. Oooh, don’t forget the fresh cupcakes from Crumbs, and I think the library is nearby as well.

This place is great! For people who don’t want to spend $ 5 on a small yogurt at Pinkberry, this is your place. For people who don’t want to ingest HFCs, this is the place for you. I came in yesterday. It was remotely clean, and had sample cups ready for you to take. They’re conscious of sanitation, so they put up a sign telling customers to use a new sample cup for every sample they take. The flavors were great. The perfect mix of creamy, but not too heavy. I’ll definitely be coming back! The only thing is that they didn’t have the holiday flavors available like Peppermint or gingerbread. At least they had pumpkin!(Even though it’s not Fall anymore)

This place skeeved me out because I sat there eating my yogurt(not bad yogurt, not the best) and people came walking in by the tens, picking up sample cups, walking around sampling all the flavors with the same cup! Yes, that means they touch their mouth with the cup and then touch the tip of the dispenser with the same germy cup. I was so grossed out. 9 out of 10 of those same people just walked out without actually buying any yogurt. I know that’s not the store’s fault, but it pissed me off as a paying customer. At the very least they could have an employee handing out the sample cups and making sure people aren’t touching the germy cup onto all the yogurt dispensers. I’ll never go to this, or any Menchie’s again, and frankly, I’m a little skeeved about all the self serve yogurt places now.

I love fro yo! If you have ever been to Mochi, this place is the same idea. Self serve fro-yo and toppings, charged by weight. You can sample any flavor. And they have cute little spoons with critters on them. The flavors change regularly and are always good. They serve mostly sweet flavors but they have traditional too. Also, here is a little insider trade secret for you: only fill your cup about a third of the way with yogurt, then put toppings on. Then, put more fro yo on top, and put toppings on that. then you never run out of toppings as you’re eating it! yummm

I’ve never been a big fan of pay-per-ounce yogurt shops but of all of them this may be the best. Usually at many of the pay-per-ounce places the yogurt is kinda watery no matter what the flavor. The flavors at Menchie’s were flavorful and creamy. I also enjoyed the good selection of toppings. I appreciated the cleanliness of the toppings area along with fullness of the topping bins. Too often has the topping bins been near empty or littered with other undesirables. I don’t usually eat yogurt especially if an icecream shop is relatively close but if I had to have yogurt I’d be perfectly fine having Menchie’s. *the spoons are cool too*

The pour your own and pay per ounce trend is my favorite! Every frozen yogurt place should be like this(and the other places of the same style)!! As long as you have lots of flavors and lots of toppings, I will be a happy customer. Menchie’s is one of the better ones I’ve been to. Minus 1 star because apparently according to other reviews, I’ve been paying too much!

Fro-yo has probably become the biggest new trend of the year, and this Menchie’s is definitely at the top. Not only is there top choice yogurt, but you’re bound to see some celebs because it’s Calabasas. Britney Spears has been noted to come to this froyo place in a number of occasions. This place is great for those times when you just wanna hang out with friends or just to have some dessert after dinner or lunch. The free samples they offer is a great incentive to buy a cupfull. I always tend to go for the more sophisticated flavors like, German chocolate, NY cheescake, Mocha, etc. Also, the amount of toppings is great! You’ll definitely never be bored of your yogurt, after seeing the number of toppings they have.

I am obsessed with froyo weighed by the pound. I think that toppings are overpriced at other places and the predefined sizes are not always what people want. I am almost sure that the price here is $ 0.41 /pound. There are about 8 – 10 different flavors of froyo to choose from including tart and sweet. Personally, I enjoy tasting as many flavors as possible in little amounts, which would never be possible at other frozen yogurt places. After getting my all the flavors I wanted in my cup, I moved to the toppings section where there is such a great variety. There are most kinds of fruit, candy bar(crumbs), and other misc toppings like cheesecake, brownies, graham cracker crumbs, etc. There is outside seating available which is nice on a hot day. I love this place!
