An absolute favorite! I have stopped at T-Vine every year for the past 3 years whenever I visit Calistoga, and it has never disappointed! My partner and I love their Frediani Zinfandel and their Petite Sirah! However, we really did enjoy all of the wines they poured, they are all pretty big reds(our preferred type) with unique characteristics indicative of their terroir. Our server during our last visit(2÷13÷16), whose name I believe is Jeff, was extremely hospitable and knowledgeable about the wine. We were a party of 6 and he easily accommodated us. I would 100% recommend this winery to anyone! Also a little piece of wine history, T-vine purchases some of their grapes from the farmer who sold the award winning chardonnay grapes to Château Monteelena during the 1976 Judgement of Paris. They have a picture of the farmers on their wall, which I think adds a nice touch to their tasting room.

I hate to be a contrarian but both my wife and I didn’t think the wines were that great hence the 3 stars. The building outside doesn’t look like much but inside its quite beautiful with high ceilings and lots of light looking to the vineyards very nicely appointed. Our server was a young cute blond and was friendly and efficient. We tried about 5 – 6 wines and none of them wowed us they were just OK but a couple of them were not good at all and we dumped them right away. We did have a nice time here and were glad we stopped but will not likely return. We did buy two bottles as our tasting fee was waived. We plan to let them rest a few years they should be very nice and drinkable by then.

We were referred here by another winery. I prefer smaller tasting rooms without the bus loads of tourists. T-Vine was perfect. We had a great experience learning about the different growers and their wines. Not to mention tasting them. My favorites were the 2008 Napa Valley Red and the 2012 Frediani Zin. But really everything I tasted was excellent. So good that I joined their wine club which is something I normally don’t do.

My Unilocalers rarely disappoint and this place was no exception! On our way to Calistoga I saw the sign for this place and thought it looked like a fun place to try. So I read the Unilocal reviews and decided to give it a try. We went here early on a Saturday and had the place all to ourselves. We were greeted by Erin who took us through the tasting. NOTE: This place is not for you if you are a white wine drinker, they are a Reds only vineyard. We love reds so I was pretty excited to be able to do a tasting with no white wines. All the wines here were excellent! Our favorites were the Mixed Blacks, SGM Red Blend, and the 2012 Zinfandel! Erin was great. She was a wealth of information about T-Vines as well as the Calistoga/Napa area in general! Would definitely come back here.

I stopped in– referred by my hotel. It was quite and the staff were super help and nice. He also helped me plan out other places to go. The Rose was splendid and the Zinfandel is worth buying a bottle!

Yummyyyyy! Beautiful tasting room with a nice view, and the ladies that helped us were informative about where to go and what they recommend. There is a 2012 Zinfandel that knocked my socks off — I am no sommelier, but I would hiiiiighly suggest you go try it right NOW! Plus they give you little snacks as you taste :)

Nice, quiet tasting room with some really good wines. Not too pricey. No white wines were available to taste(didn’t notice if they sold any either) and the Reds are non-standard — Grenache, Syrah(sold out), Petite Sirah — in other words non– cab and zin. Worth stopping — ask about other wineries as they have plenty of good suggestions!

Five stars for t-vine! My boyfriend and I loved this winery. We would be regulars here if we didn’t live so far. They only serve red wines, and they’re all amazing. The staff is very informative/knowledgeable/friendly. This winery also has a great ambiance. The outside seating overlooks a small vineyard. And the inside has a contemporary/vintage feel to it. It works. Definitely will be coming back when I’m back in Napa!

A friend and I stopped in here last week to taste the wines. I loved these wines when I was the buyer for several restaurants in San Francisco. This is a Red House only — meaning they only make red wines and some very complex reds. Rita and Aaron were working that day. Rita really knows her stuff and Aaron was newer but took care of us. He had a lot of knowledge about the wines and the background of the winery and the people involved and was a refreshing host to sit down and talk too to discuss these wines. My favorite was the Howell Mountain Zin — it was fantastic with a bit of pepper and good ripe fruit. Really delicious. Rita brought out some homemade chocolate ganash and homemade crackers. They do a food and wine pairing there for $ 45 dollars. I’ll have to go back for that — that’s a great price for the high level of quality. Beautiful place sits right off of rt. 29 just south of Lincoln Avenue in Calistoga.

Beautiful tasting room and views of the vineyards. Some chocolate and crackers were provided with the tasting. Wines were good and included a nice grenache that has some hints of chocolate with nice tannins; Charbono(they are one of the few who make it) was light with some green pepper, quite nice. They offered a few different Zinfandel, all of which were very good, especially the 2011 Stonebridge and the 2010 Frediaini. Definitely worth a stop. If you are driving north on 29 it is on the right hand side… if you hit Tank Winery you’ve gone too far.

Really enjoyed our unplanned stop at T-Vine yesterday! Great job by Britney at the bar… polite, knowledgeable, and great at her job. We took away a half case of 5 different wines. Prices are very reasonable, too. We will definitely go back.

Great winery experience! Alicia took care of us and even though we were one of the last tastings that day due to our unplanned extended hike at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park. Alicia was a great host and a bounty of information. Sampled a good amount of wines and we really enjoyed the 2011 Grenache &2011 Charbono which neither we’ve had before. This is a place I wouldn’t pass up.

TVine never fails! A small production winery with a great product. The Grenache is unbelievable, and our tasting hostesses were well informed, and welcoming of 13 women. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

I got turned on to this winery by a savvy sommelier at Spago. Some of the best wine I’ve tried for the price point & zero snoot factor! Love their new digs in Calistoga– get there ASAP to try Mixed Blacks before it’s gone! Only bad part is trying to taste at other wineries after T-Vine…

This lil gem of a winery has been around since 1992.(Not really sure where the previous Unilocaler got the date for the winery.) However it just recently opened their winery to tastings starting July 2013!!! The great contemporary interior is a great venue for this winery. Their specialty is grenache wines however I found their other reds fantastic. There is a brief blurb on the winery that can be found on this link: My group walked into the tasting room to the music of The Stones and The Who!!! How cool is that. We were promptly greeted by Anthony(great glasses) who was very knowledgable about their wine and Amy(with the throaty smokey voice) his sidekick. Anyways loved the vibe from their staff which was an added plus to their great wine. We’ll definitely be back!!!

Built in 1878… third oldest cellar in Napa! This winery is off the map and not found in any directory. It is actually a separate entity from regusci winery. The only reason we knew of this place was because the hostess tipped us off(and I think she really liked us!) This is a BEAUTIFUL location!!! The T-vine cellar does not have any signs to mark the location so the hosts at regusci winery would need to lead the way. The tasting room was amazing. When we walked into this enormous barn, we were the only group there surrounded by a plethora of rows and rows of barrels. There were crates filled with dusty labeled regusci wine bottles. We were offered multiple tastings and had our questions answered by our lovely hosts. It was truly an ideal wine tasting experience that was personalized and intimate. Tip: Come early when they open!!!
