The best burgers! Doublecheese w/​the works GREAT! Irish nachos (fries w/​chedder, cheez bacon bits, scallions & ranch dressing GREAT!, & a nice cold Vanilla Coke. Can’t finish it all but I’m gonna try.

Usually the place is okay. I love the banana milkshakes. However, tonight I bit into the middle of my burger & pulled out a CLUMP OF HAIR. Called twice & was basically told «too bad» because they had closed after I got home. Ridiculous customer service after this terrible experience! WILL NEVER GO BACK

Yesterday, 10÷7÷14 after a long day, my wife and I arrive at Schoops at 7:25 and we were greeted at the door by the alleged manager who abruptly and rudely informed us that «YOU DO KNOW THAT WE CLOSE AT 8:00 RIIHT ?» so I asked, «are you turning us away? «and she smiled and shook her head yes… she looked at the waitress and asked, «well, what do you think ?» and the waitress replied «well, if they have to, they can sit at the counter»…been going to Schoops since 1982 when Rick & Randy Newell opened the place… sadly, not any more. We ended up at Panos Big Boy & were treated like valued customers…

My boyfriend and I always come here when we visit from Florida. The burgers are handmade with fresh ingredients, and are absolutely delicious! Not to mention we always have great service. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. Definitely worth the price!

I went here with my best male friend on 4÷30÷14 where we had an AMAZING MEAL & DINING EXPERIENCE!!! We both ordered the bacon double cheeseburger, shared an order of onion rings & I had the Green River Shake! It was AWESOME! & the waiter, Mike, was a absolute delight! Please do yourself a favor & treat yourself to a great burger, wonderful shakes & friendly customer service! I love this place!

This is it! Forget Smashburger. You’ve got to come to Schoops for the original, the trendsetter, the inspiration of all those newfangled burgers that are popping up all over the suburbs. Try a Mickey. watch how your burger is cooked through the window, behold the fact that there are no frozen patties of beef in this purveyor of fine meats and cheeses. I’ve always loved you Schoops, I’m so sorry I’ve moved so far away from you.

Some of the best burgers in the city can be found here. The meat is fresh, the food is great, the service is warm. I get a double w/​cheese & ketchup only… The Green River shake is a must have as well. Not much to say, order a burger, leave satisfied. The price is a little high ($ 15 for burger, fries & shake), but definitely worth it!

The burger is always a winner; they smash the patty down on the flat top griddle to get a great sear on the meat while still keeping in the juices. Onion rings are always great, too. Advise going on a Sunday afternoon around noon, the service is always quick.

By far the best burger in the area! I sometimes get the kids burger because the regular or doubles are tooo much. The shakes are fantastic. They even have Green River shakes! I always get the curly-​fries and the soup is alway good. Service is good and just the smell of the burgers cooking is worth the price!

This is surprisingly the best Schoops of them all! They also are the only Schoops that has curly fries which are by far my favorite! It is definitely worth the splurge on money and calories every once in a while.

Good good burgers… the double was huge – nearly too much to eat. You’ll quickly become overweight if you eat here a lot… (you might notice as you’re sitting there this is the case with many of those who seem to frequent it)…
Their menu is a tad confusing, different names for different burgers where the only difference is how many pieces of cheese are on them. Toppings are messy… but it’s worth the mess and the calories!
