Good place to get that cold beer after a long day of work. I tend to try and avoid this location on weekend as lots of people like bringing their kids who run a muck. Active place. Food is okay, but frequently comes out not as ordered and staff is hard to track down. But they are nice.

I have been to all the Cronies in the area except for this one, after work we wanted to give it a try. Our family walked in and did not get so much as a hello from the two servers at the front, we sit down and wait… About 10 minutes go by, servers passed us by and still no hello. So we get up and walk out passing the same two servers and still NO greeting. I can’t believe this service came from Cronies.

Can’t complain. Good food and good atmosphere. The thirsty sauce is the best hands down.

I came here for Monday Night Football and to meet up with friends I had not seen in years. Had a great time. This place is great. They raffle of weird prices during half time. It’s all in fun. And the spirit if the teams playing. They gave away toilet paper and a beer. It was great. Lots of laughs. The beer is served in ice cold scooners. When you get your beer you have a little it of frozen beer on top floating. Got to love that. They serve burgers to grilled sandwiches to wings. Food was good after asking everyone. We rated it 4.75 stars. And there was plenty of tvs to watch the game. And had no problem hearing the game. If I go visit near by again I will be back.

I absolutely love this place and have been coming here since I was in high school. Today I came here for some Sunday fun and michaladas with friends. I have to say, the first part of my visit was horrible. The waitress Kayla was one on the worst waitresses I’ve ever had. She would walk right past us and we when asked her for something she either didn’t bring it or would walk away as she said ok and not ask anyone else if we wanted anything. She had no personality and seemed to have no interest in serving us. Luckily we asked to sit inside, have a different waitress to make our experience better and money worth while. We ended up getting Tamra and she was AMAZING! So fun, personable and super helpful. We ended up getting more drinks, raising the tab and were very excited to tip her and spend our hard earned money on someone who works hard as well. I would have gave my favorite local bar 5 stars but Kayla was a bad representation of a fun, exciting, great sports bar. I will definitely be back but will ask for Tamra every time!

I’d been eating too much salty stuff lately, and like Elaine on Seinfeld, had a craving for a «Big Salad.» I remembered seeing one across the room as I was leaving last time I was here, so when we went back today, I tried the Cobb(or was it Chef?). Damn, was it good! Everything was freshly prepared, not fished out if a prep bucket in the walk in and served cold. Fresh bacon, chicken breast hot off the grill and sliced. I’m a big guy with a pretty good appetite, and couldn’t quite finish it all. They had quite a few choices, too. Most, as I recall, around $ 9 and so worth it! I pilfered one of my Son’s onion rings and was surprised to find it freshly made and flaky, not frozen. I don’t know why I expect big beers and mediocre bar food here, but it never happens. It’s always good, and sometimes surprisingly so. I’m not a Sports Bar kinda guy, so it’s gotta be pretty good to make me return repeatedly to that sometimes blaring enviornment. Should also mention what a nice guy the manager is, and how cleanly and efficiently the place is run. It’s often crowded with crazed sports fans, but never dirty or cluttered, and the manager works the floor ensuring decent food times and customer satisfaction.

A great bar if you are looking to watch the game with an ice cold beer and sports talk. The prices aren’t too impressive and the food is typical fried bar food. However, it’s a great place to meet new friends and it’s in a good location. Inside feels like a high school cafeteria the way the tables are so close together, but the patio is a nice alternative. The manager is very welcoming, but staff is hit or miss. The wings have a delicious sauce with a hot and tangy taste, but unfortunately the chicken wasn’t great. Definitely has potential to be a great local hangout, but needs some improvements. Willing to try it again in the future, but not very high expectations.

This has always been my go to bar in Camarillo. My friend celebrates her birthday here every December which is perfect timing because the Christmas decoration is up and there’s usually a Santa Claus entertaining guests. I came in with my friend for a very early lunch. 11:30am early. We both didn’t have breakfast and were starving. We originally wanted to order pizza, but since this spot is just down the street from our office, we decided to mosey over. I ordered a Modelo as soon as I sat down. Some of the patrons were giving me some looks. Haters gonna hate. I was thirsty and was doing me. Hate on. Not sure what my friend got, but I ordered the Teriyaki burger. We both substituted garlic parm fries(always a better pick). Per usual, the food hit the spot. I always realize after I’ve already gotten my food that I should’ve asked for the meat to be cooked rare. It always comes out well done. It just doesn’t taste the same. The fries are to die for. Always order it this way. Regular curly fries just don’t cut it. Their onion rings is a good option b. The service is always on point here. Even when they’re super busy. I noticed there were only 2 girls working when we got there. It was pretty crowded by the time we left. The one thing I’ve always appreciated about this place is that while they have a good number of tvs, there aren’t too many that you end up overwhelmed.

Their food is ok(not bad by any means, but nothing special). Service is definitely their downfall. I would not recommend this place if you’re in a time crunch. Last time I went there, it took me 45 minutes to get my food! I went back today during my lunch break today and I must say, I was pretty disappointed. I sat there for a good 10 minutes and no employees were in sight. There were customers at the tables and at the bar, but no employees. I finally just ended up leaving because I needed to grab lunch and get back to work. I don’t think it’s too much to expect to have employees present during normal business hours, is it?

Cold beer and ribeye sandwich pair so well. And the corn dogs and chicken wings with thirsty sauce is really good. And make sure that you try the chop salad, really good there

Love the food and environment. Great place to watch a game. Ice cold schooners for a refreshing beer. Okay beer selection. Their Thirsty Chicken sandwich is AMAZING. Must try.

The only reason I come here, is only with my co-workers. This place is definitely not my first pick for lunch on a Friday. Their food is alright, and nothing to really rave about. I do like their mini corn dogs, which I have to admit are delicious, and so are the curly fries. Service is a hit or miss on the times I have gone here with my co-workers. I don’t want to point out anyone, but here is one particular waitress that just takes longer than usual, and when it’s someone else, service is a lot quicker.

I’m new to Cronies. One thing that’s a constant with Cronies is that it seem to make its home in strip malls. We found out because we went to the wrong Cronies. It was also in a strip mall. Our group of eight took two tables. All hungry and all wanted something greasy. Can you guess why? Debauchery the night before during the NYE party. I ordered the Quarter pound hotdog with fries. Most everybody in our group ordered burgers. The curly fries that came with my order was really good and I heard is famous with everybody that patronize Cronies. I can see why. It’s crunchy and well seasoned. The only thing is I didn’t order curly fries. You pay extra for this. To me fries is fries. Whatever shape it comes to my table. I’m into the texture and the amount of sodium they season it with. Not to be picky I just ignored that part. Although next thing I know almost everybody said in unison that they didn’t order their curly fries either. They’re too hungry to flag someone down. So that’s that! Will I go back? Yes if I want to watch sports on TV. They have enough of that to be legitimately called a sports bar.

Food is great and consistent, those cooks are legit. Prices are great Beer is always ice cold. Love those schooners Plenty of tvs cool cool on that. Service left a lot to be desired. Sat for about 5 mins before anybody realized we were there. Henry walked by several times doing manager stuff didn’t seem to notice us either. Server Kayla didn’t seem too happy to help us out at all once she noticed us. Nobody smiling nobody happy to be there it seemed like.

***BREAKFASTREVIEW: One word comes to mind when I think of the food here: mediocre. The sausages taste like Jimmy Dean sausages, just extra seared on each side to looked extra cooked. My scrambled eggs didn’t taste like much even after I added tabassco/s&p. The best part of my meal was the lightly toasted plain bagel and the O’BRIEN potatoes… they both were very tasty. Customer service could use some work. When we walked in, the server obviously saw us but didn’t greet us. We had to ask for a menu and table. I’d like to give this place a try again, next time for dinner and drinks… We’ll see, it’s also tucked in a corner of a shopping mall center.

I thought Cronies was just a Ventura spot but that’s great there’s one in Camarillo. I also thought it was just a bar but they do serve amazing breakfast food if you come in the morning :) My coworkers and I had came out of a store meeting and thought it would be great to drink some alcohol(not even grab some food but alcohol at 11am LOL). Thus, mimosas were calling our names. There is ample seating for large groups and we had nice waitresses. The 20 oz mimosas in schooners were huge for ~$ 7 each and I paired mine with 3 pancakes and 3 sausages :) I noticed majority of the menu items had eggs included but happy to see one breakfast entrée without it. Regardless, awesome place to get mimosas, breakfast food and have a good time. If you follow their instagram @eatatcronies and hashtag your Cronies photo #freeisgood, you get a chance to win some moolah! lol

I love this place for these reasons: Cold frosty beer; the coldest around anywhere. Bright and cheery atmosphere. Free wifi. Friendly staff. Mini corndogs. Rib eye philly cheese sandwich. Armadillo eggs. One time I was there, and there was a whole table of beer reps, from different beers, eating there. That has to say something about Cronies Camarillo. And for these reasons I love Cronies Camarillo.
